Does Witchcraft Affect Christians Who Are Ambivalent?

The concept of a “lukewarm Christian” is often associated with Christians who are halfway between full-on unbelief and devout Christianity. However, this does not align with the teachings in Revelation, which emphasizes the importance of a tepid or half-hearted commitment to their faith. This belief is often used to encourage believers to be more dedicated and sincere in their faith.

The concept of a lukewarm Christian is drawn from Revelation 3, where Jesus speaks through the angel of the church of Laodicea. Scripture reveals that God does not look kindly on a lukewarm Christianity, as they are neither cold nor hot. Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones preaches against lukewarmness in the church, not lukewarmness itself.

Christian witches may use various practices, such as magic, faeries, and cooking, to work with God and the Angels. Some people engage in sorcery and witchcraft thinking they are doing a good thing, believing that only “black magic” is truly evil. Witches claim that only the dim, lifeless, petty Underworld of her slaves is “reality”.

In conclusion, the concept of a lukewarm Christian is a complex and multifaceted concept that can be explored in various religious and spiritual frameworks. It is important to recognize that some individuals may engage in witchcraft and New Age practices, but it is essential to understand the implications and potential dangers associated with these practices.

Who is not going to heaven?

The text issues a cautionary message regarding the prospect of unrighteous individuals acquiring the kingdom of God. It asserts that those engaged in fornication, idolatry, adultery, effeminacy, abuse, theft, avarice, drunkenness, reviling, and extortion will not be granted entry into the kingdom.

Is cursing a sin?

The Bible discourages the use of unwholesome speech and encourages the use of edifying language. However, it does not explicitly list specific words as sinful, but rather emphasizes the quality and impact of words. An awareness of these distinctions enables believers to regulate their speech in a manner that is consistent with the teachings of their faith and in a way that is respectful of the divine. An understanding of the reasons why words can be sinful and the ability to regulate one’s vocabulary can facilitate a more constructive approach to communication.

Is lukewarm a sin?

Lukewarmness, or tepidity, is a state of soul where the warmth and fervor of charity are lacking but not completely deteriorating into coldness of indifference and hatred. This state can lead to mortal sin, but it is not a sin itself. The lukewarm soul tends to neglect its duties in life, striving for the minimum fulfillment of temporal and spiritual commitments. In the book of Revelation, Christ reminds the Laodicean church that if they are not moving forward in their spiritual life, they are going backwards. The Diary of Saint Faustina also discusses the concept of lukewarmness.

What are the three sins God will not forgive?

Alma, a prominent figure in the Christian faith, had a profound teaching moment when he interviewed his son, Corianton, who had become involved with the harlot, Isabel. Alma warned Corianton that he was guilty of three abominable sins in the sight of God: denying the Holy Ghost, shedding innocent blood, and committing sexual sin. Adultery was third to murder and the sin against the Holy Ghost. To understand Corianton’s sin, he needed to understand its relationship to the two most abominable sins, enabling him to realize the possibilities of repentance and forgiveness.

Alma distinguished between unpardonable and pardonable sins. Unpardonable sins cannot be paid for through the atoning blood of Christ or personal suffering. The only sin that falls into this category is denying the Holy Ghost. All other sins are forgivable or pardonable because the demands of justice can be met through the atonement of Jesus Christ or personal payment by the sinner.

The Apostle John taught that there is a sin unto death, and there is a sin not unto death. Elder Bruce R. McConkie argued that the death John referred to meant “spiritual death”. There are sins for which repentance does not operate, sins that the atoning blood of Christ will not wash away, and sins for which the sinner must suffer and pay the full penalty personally.

Do Christians believe in witchcraft?

The Bible contains numerous references to witchcraft, condemning practices such as casting spells, being a medium, spiritist, or consulting the dead. These practices are considered detestable to the Lord, and the Lord will drive out those nations before you. The word “witch” may be a mistranslation of “poisoner”, and some believe there is a primitive idealist belief in a relation between bewitching and coveting. Some adherents of near-east religions acted as mediums, channeling messages from the dead or familiar spirits.

The Bible is sometimes translated as referring to “necromancer” and “neromancy”, but some lexicographers, like James Strong and Spiros Zodhiates, disagree. They believe that the Hebrew word “kashaph” (כשפ) in Exodus 22:18 and other places in the Tanakh comes from a root meaning “to whisper”, meaning “to whisper a spell, i. e. to incant or practice magic”. The Contemporary English Version translates Deuteronomy 18:11 as referring to “any kind of magic”.

What does God say about lukewarm Christians?

In Revelation 3:15-16, it is stated that Christians who are neither hot nor cold in their faith, who attend church, are baptized, or pray, are not considered by God to be either of these two extremes. The text admonishes that if they are neither cold nor hot, God will expel them from His presence.

Does God forgive non Christians?

Sin is a significant issue between God and man, but unbelievers are forgiven and now have the choice to repent or seek God. We were forgiven and delivered before our birth, based on the finished work of Jesus. This forgiveness is not based on our actions but on God’s grace, and is eternally removed and abolished. As a result, we are completely forgiven and receive every blessing in heavenly places. God’s grace is not scrutinized, and our sins are never counted against us again.

Can you repent while dying?

Can you repent while dying?

The thief on the cross, who repented in his last moments, was promised to be with him in paradise. This story is exemplified in Exhibit A in the New Testament, where a person who repented and believed in Jesus’ kingdom was promised to be with him in paradise. While it is possible for someone to enter the kingdom of heaven by the skin of their teeth, it is important to remember that Jesus’ teachings emphasize the importance of obedience and works in obtaining heaven.

The reward in heaven will be based on one’s works, not just their repentance. This suggests that while people can make it by repenting in their last breath, their happiness will not be as great as that of those who have been faithfully serving Christ for many years.

Will true believers go to heaven?

Will true believers go to heaven?

The Bible teaches that everyone who believes will spend eternity with God in heaven. However, not every believer enters the kingdom of heaven, as Jesus said in His first sermon. False teachers distort God’s truth and do not submit their minds to the Holy Spirit’s renewal to be righteous and holy. To be renewed in our minds, we must read God’s Word daily, meditate on the truth, and apply it to memory.

A prophet is someone who speaks to people for their upbuilding, encouragement, and consolation. If we don’t know the truth of God’s Word, we can be a false prophet. For example, if we comfort and encourage someone unhappy with their marriage, we should not say “God wants us to be happy, so it is okay to divorce your spouse”. Instead, we should speak the truth explained in 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18, which emphasizes the importance of doing good to one another and to everyone.

Changing our thinking and doing the will of God is difficult, but when we obey, we will be rewarded with joy and peace even in difficult circumstances. If we have misrepresented the truth of God, repent, ask His forgiveness, and He will forgive and restore us. Next, read your Bible every day and meditate on the truth. Then you will do well (Ps. 1:2-3).

What is the sin of witchcraft in the Bible?

What is the sin of witchcraft in the Bible?

Exodus 22:18, Leviticus 19:26, Leviticus 20:27, and Deuteronomy 18:10-11 all prohibit the practice of necromancy, divination, and soothsaying. These laws are portrayed as foreign and are the only part of the Hebrew Bible to mention such practices. The presence of laws forbidding necromancy proves that it was practiced throughout Israel’s history.

The exact difference between the three forbidden forms of necromancy mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:11 is uncertain, as yidde’oni (“wizard”) is always used together with ob (“consulter with familiar spirits”) and its semantic similarity to doresh el ha-metim (“necromancer” or “one who directs inquiries to the dead”) raises the question of why all three are mentioned in the same verse. The Jewish tractate Sanhedrin distinguishes between a doresh el ha-metim, a person who would sleep in a cemetery after starving himself, to become possessed, and a yidde’oni, a wizard.

In summary, the prohibition of necromancy in the Hebrew Bible is a significant aspect of Jewish history.

Will God forgive me for being lukewarm?

Will God forgive me for being lukewarm?

The author argues that Jesus offers forgiveness for sins of both the hot and cold, and that God’s wrath against sin was fully satisfied at the Cross. However, Jesus also imputed his righteousness to us, giving us righteous power over sin. The tragedy lies in lukewarm believers who don’t allow God’s righteousness to affect them. They have experienced the purifying fire of God’s presence and heard about Christ’s quenching of wrath through his shed blood. Christ looks at them and says, “Your lukewarmness is farther from my heart than any coldness”.

  • i remember the testimony of a former marine agent who confessed that they “hated” hot and fire branded Christians because whenever they prayed fervently in their community their prayer reached as far as a radius of one mile thus these dark spirits could not descend to anyone within that radius and torment them. it was such a revelation. Eph 4: 1 “i…beseech you, walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called…”

  • This article reminds me of a lady I used to be friends with years ago. She told me she was in a gas station and there was a satanist in front of her in line. She said, “I bind witchcraft, in Jesus Name”. That satanist turned around, looked at her and laughed. He KNEW she didn’t have the authority of Jesus Christ to bind it up.

  • I remember I had a dream I was in my room and my room was dark and a demon like figure shadow was Infront of me and I was trying to rebuke him and he would not move for nothing and my mouth could not even open to say Jesus cause I knew I was a lukewarm Christian and I was saying y wouldn’t you move, and it just look at me and laugh i got so angry not knowing it was because I was still living in sin 🥺

  • Also, you have to consider the fact that if you once lived a life of hibitual sin and/or addictions and once you repent/renounce this sin(s), you will have to face fiery trials because even the bible says in 1 Peter 4: 12-19… 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. For some of us (like myself) coming out of heavy addictions of 20 years become sober for 2 years of non stop attacks doesn’t me them a weak Christian. Some sin are door opeaners but walking away from such would cause attacks since now you’re walking with Christ.

  • I appreciate your articles a lot. You have truly spiritually educated me on a lot that I was not aware of. Can I respectfully ask you, Can you please allow the articles you present be played before you comment on them. I would like it to be played fully in order to understand what they are saying as a whole. I know you have a lot of Divine Wisdom to share but please let it play out first. Thank you! Stay blessed. ❤🙏🏾

  • I just opened my eyes in the middle of my rest and I was able to see through the walls of my house and I saw 9 demons there. I quickly said hello I can see ya get out my house, the kinda jumped in shock the I was looking right at them telling them to go. What they did they rushed me in my room. Abd where putting their hands all over me. I called out to Jesus but since I’ve lost the 🔥 it had no effect. So I just scream and fought until they left. Thank for the article. I made up my mind

  • There are so many different obstacles that I face as a single mom. Some days I want to give up. God give me strength. I’m struggling to make ends meet. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. I keep faith because I know that God will provide. So as I struggle to buy groceries for my children, and as I struggle to pay rent every month. I turn to you Lord Jesus help me. Amen 🙏🏾

  • Thank you for the eye opening article. Hopefully someone on here can answer this question. What if people are comfortable around you but they do things to try to get you to sin. I’ve seen people constantly say things to try to agitate you. Is that because of being me being double minded or they need the witchcraft to work on you by trying to get you into sin ?

  • Actually being into all that evil actually do more harm to them than a Christian. I have seen wicked ppl do all this stuff still be miserable no true happiness. Once they get what they want they just do the next person, until God put a stop to it. Call them time wasters, wasting precious time working for evil. When it’s eternal life in Jesus Christ. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

  • so i have a question i struggle with my flesh but my heart and mind are devoted to God as in i can hear Gods voice thru others where sometimes others cannot sometimes i wonder how Christ mustve wept for judas so my question is does it make me luk warm to still struggle or do i just need to tighten up my prayer life

  • Lately ive been going places and random people have been frowning or looking angry at me. I was out to dinner with a friend who was treating me for my birthday. We were on the patio and I caught one of the workers looking my / our direction and she just looked angry. I thought either she’s thinking about some situation she’ s in, or angry with her co-worker..or she’s angry with me or me and my friend. ??? Then a few days later I went to TJ’s and a lady got a look on her face, then walked my direction and seemed to try to block any place i wanted to be ( you know, trying to look for my groceries..hahaha). Lately, aside from things like that, I’ve been feeling like I’m in a Spirtual Warfare Battle!

  • Please. Take this in love living a double life is not good at all, but I want to say this. No one is going to get it 100%, right all of the time, if that was the case, Jesus Christ would not have needed to come down to die for our sins. I say that to say that. I’m so glad this person gave their life to Jesus Christ. We need this person in the Kingdom so much. But I want to say this. Sometimes messages like this can be influenced by the enemy to tell people that you have to have it 100% right or else God will not hear your prayers. What it ISIS that? Sometimes when a person backslides the enemy will say. Well, God won’t hear your prayers, you’re out. You’re no good to him anymore. And he uses that to get you away from God and not necessarily Uber to his side, but away from God. So you don’t think God hears your prayers and when you stop praying? That’s when you’re uneffective. Example that it doesn’t matter. Because Jesus’s name is powerful period this one lady who was a witch and Clint’s people’s houses within a house. 1 day, getting rid of a demon for a client and both of the time whatever she did got rid of the demon. However, this particular demon would not leave, it would not leave. And she knew about Jesus as she said and this is a witch. Now she said in the name of Jesus you have to leave. She barely got the words out and that demon left screeching. So I say all that to say this if you are black, slitting. The key of the name of Jesus Christ works but the enemy will tell you.

  • Stones of the Ephod (Hoshen Stones) The most obvious of these references can be found in relation to the “Ephod”, the breastplate worn by the Cohen Hagadol (High Priest) in the Jewish Temple. It contains twelve separate stones, each of which represented a different tribe. “And you shall set it with four rows of mounted stones; the first row: a ruby, an emerald, and a topaz. The second row: a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a quartz crystal. The third row: a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst. The fourth row: a chrysolite, an onyx, and an opal. These stones shall be placed in gold settings. The stones shall contain the names of the twelve children of Israel, one for each of the twelve stones; each one’s name shall be engraved as on a signet ring, to represent the twelve tribes.” (Ex. 28: 17-21) Who are you going to believe some rejected vine star or someone who actually researches stuff.

  • Might be a good time to go over what Christian warfare and the armour of God actually is. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness. We do not overcome evil with the weapons of the devil, but with love and goodness through the Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God bless your ministry!

  • Absolutely agree brother In Christ about the unity bit we’re One body of Christ and he wants us to be united with each other as the battle is spiritual and weapons we need are the armor of God ✝️❤️ Hallelujah ! It’s so amazing that we’ve been given this grace by god that no weapon formed against us shall prosper in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ amen 🙏🏼 amen 🙏🏼 and amen 🙏🏼
