i think it more of a way forcing people to take abreak for a few hours from using their computer till the mouse if fully charged its a really bad habit and bad idea for doing quick chargeing of these batterys as youhave explained as it will degrad the battery/s faster and users can not replace these batteries them self so that means pay big bucks to have it done or get a new stuff
