How do I start clearing my chakras?

The chakras, the centers of spiritual power, are a complex energy system within the body. Blocking these chakras can lead to difficulties with concentration, sleeping problems, lack of motivation, and feelings of helplessness. To unblock these energy pathways, there are several easy techniques you can do at home. One such technique is mantras, which are short repetitions used at the end of yoga practice. These mantras act as a form of sound healing, restoring energy fields.

Another technique is tapping, or EFT, which involves using your fingertips to tap on specific meridian points throughout your body. This motion and repeating affirmations can help release certain emotions that may be blocking your chakras. By practicing these techniques, you can help unblock your chakras and improve your overall well-being.

Which chakra should be unblocked first?

The root chakra is considered the grounding foundation of the chakra system, and imbalances in this chakra can affect other body chakras. Chakra work can help individuals feel safe, secure, and grounded in their body and the world. Although there is no scientific evidence supporting the existence of the root chakra, it can be beneficial for those new to chakra work. Victoria Stokes, a writer from the UK, shares her experiences with the root chakra and her favorite things, including coffee, cocktails, and the color pink.

What happens when all 7 chakras are open?

The seven chakras are the center points of all energy in the human body, as mentioned in ancient meditation practices and found popular with the increasing interest in yoga. Chakras, which translates to “wheel”, are spinning discs of energy that correspond to major organs, bundles, or nerves, and areas related to our emotional well-being.

There are at least 114 chakras in the human body, but the main ones usually referred to are the 7 main ones. Each chakra corresponds to a focus on a particular health. Specific areas of the spine from the crown of the head to the sacrum are focused on manipulating the subtle energy flow through the 7 chakras of the human body.

The root chakra (Muladhara) is located in the tailbone area at the base of your spine and has the responsibility for your well-being, stability, and security. If your root chakra is blocked, it may manifest as physical issues in your colon, bladder, joints (arthritis), and intestinals. An unbalanced root chakra may also make you feel emotionally insecure about your well-being, finances, or basic needs. When it is balanced and in alignment, you will start feeling more grounded and in control of your emotions as well as your physical health.

The sacral chakra (Svadhisthana) is linked to your emotional well-being and creative energy, and it is also seen as an energy point for others’ emotions. If the Svadhisthana chakra becomes unbalanced, you may experience impotency, lower back pain, urinary tract infections, and a feeling of self-worth around creativity, sexuality, and pleasure. Improving this chakra can balance your lifestyle completely.

The solar plexus chakra (Nabhi-Manipura) is located in the stomach region (upper abdomen) and represents self-esteem and confidence. Controlling this chakra to make it balanced is getting back control of your life in your hand. A balanced Nabhi-Manipura chakra ensures that you interact with society with utmost confidence.

The heart chakra (Anahata) emphasizes love and is affected by two types of issues: physical health through matters related to cardio and people’s emotions (heartbreak). An unbalanced heart chakra may cause issues with your throat and voice, as well as any ailment related to your mouth, gums, or teeth.

The third eye chakra (Ajna) is located on the forehead, in between the eyes, and represents gut instinct and intuition. When unbalanced, it may manifest as headaches, hearing issues, concentration problems, and problems with eyesight. Once open, you will be able to see the big picture of any and all situations you come across.

Lastly, the crown chakra (Sahasrara) represents the spiritual connection you have with yourself, others around you, and the universe or nature. Balancing the crown chakra is a step towards figuring out the purpose of life, as it affects not just your organs but also your nervous system and brain.

The 7 chakras are the seven energy centers of the human body, representing various physical health and emotional states. When imbalanced, these chakras can lead to anxiety, depression, musculoskeletal issues, and various illnesses and diseases. To balance the chakras, one can adopt activities such as meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga postures.

Chakras provide subtle energy that improves intellect, work, mind, and organs. Ancient Yogic practices recommended certain activities to activate the 7 chakras, which provide a sense of mindfulness within the individual. Medical studies have not yet determined the connection between spiritual power and chakras, but they do bring a sense of mindfulness.

Unblocking the chakras involves balancing them in such a way that energy flows through every aspect of the body. For those new to uncovering the 7 chakras, the root chakra is the best place to start. Scientifically, there is no evidence of the benefits of the root chakra, but it can help individuals feel grounded, secure, and safe.

To bring an imbalanced chakra back to alignment, one can adopt activities such as meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga postures. Yogashala offers certified yoga instructors or reiki practitioners who are experienced in energy healing to guide individuals through this process.

In summary, the 7 chakras represent the energy centers of the human body and can be reactivated through yoga practices. By focusing on the root chakra, individuals can experience a more profound connection with themselves and the world around them.

How do you reset your chakras?

The seven major chakras, which extend from the spine to the head, can be adversely affected by toxic environments and stress, resulting in physical or emotional symptoms. The yogic tradition posits that meditation, breathing exercises, and specific yoga poses can facilitate the restoration of chakra balance.

How to meditate to clear chakras?

Chakra meditation involves visualizing each chakra as a spinning wheel, lotus flower, or bright light, moving from the spine to the top of the head. Picture the chakra in its designated color and repeat the associated mantra. This simple method helps focus the mind and move energy through the body, promoting healing. Ann Pizer, a yoga practitioner for over 20 years, shares her experience with chakra meditation.

Which chakra should I unblock first?

The root chakra, a wheel-like energy center in the human body, is regarded as the fundamental component of the entire chakra system. Some energy healers posit that to achieve equilibrium among the chakras, it is first necessary to restore the root chakra. The chakras are a part of a complex spiritual and religious tradition that originated in India. This tradition includes the chakras as a minor component of the body’s energy system.

How do I know if my chakras are blocked?

The balancing of blocked chakras has been linked to a number of adverse effects, including depression, learning difficulties, and heightened sensitivity to light, sound, and environmental stimuli. From an emotional perspective, individuals may experience challenges in self-knowledge and a tendency to adhere to rigid religious beliefs. A blockage in the Sahasrara chakra can result in confusion, prejudice, and a fear of being isolated or alienated. Yoga teacher training can facilitate the acquisition of knowledge regarding the function and regulation of chakras.

What does a blocked chakra feel like?

In an ideal world, all chakras are balanced, but in the fast-paced world, imbalances can lead to feelings of unsafeness, unsupport, disconnectedness, loneliness, and low self-esteem. Symptoms of blocked energy in each chakra include the Muladhara chakra, the root chakra, which represents security, trust, and self-care. Physical symptoms of root chakra imbalances can be found in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, and immune system, while emotional imbalances affect basic survival needs like money, shelter, and food. Physical symptoms can include degenerative arthritis, knee pain, sciatica, eating disorders, and constipation.

What is the easiest chakra to unlock?

The Ajna Chakra, or Third Eye chakra, is the most accessible of the six major chakras. As one’s meditation practice deepens, the ability to activate this chakra independently is developed.

How long does it take to unblock chakras?

Unblocking chakras requires patience, dedication, and a deep understanding of our energy system. The process can take weeks to months, depending on factors like the individual’s role and purpose. The key is to identify and address specific blockages within each chakra, which may require different amounts of time and attention. The severity of the blockage and the individual’s willingness to engage in self-reflection and healing practices also play a role.

  • This meditation helped to take away my stomach ache which had caused me to go toilet twice not long before I started listening to this. I had an argument with my partner this morning which had caused me to feel emotionally stuck in a negative state of mind. As I inhaled I could feel bubbles rising from my lower abdomen, then up through my stomach as I focused on the next chakra then up through my chest. And as I moved onto my throat chakra I could feel my stomach ache go away. I also had a mild tooth ache which healed as I unblocked my third eye. When I moved onto my halo chakra I felt a nice warmth in my third eye. I also don’t feel as stressed now. Thank you for this short sweet meditation. It’s my favourite so far. It’s been awhile since I’ve meditated Namaste’ xo

  • At my 3rd eye chacra opening i felt pressure on my pineal gland, then when you went to the uppest chacra the pressure dissapeared and i became in a concentrated state with my spirit, i felt like i was 1 with the chair and the world, my ego just dissolved and i only felt my heart pounding an my hands glowing, sense through the rest of my body was completely gone. Like my body was the air and i felt the energy on my hands. So amazing, thanks for this unforgettable experience!!! Much love

  • I’ve been listening to this every morning before I start my day. I feel more in tune with mind and body more. I was hoping you had a longer one but didn’t find one. I seen the comment that you’re doing more in weeks to come. Would you maybe do one before bed or maybe as we sleep? Thanks as always Christian for being one of the only one’s that communicate with your followers. For that I am grateful!

  • I watched this, giving it a shot. Not really expecting anything. It’s the first time I’ve done anything like this. Towards the end, when Nirvana and Heaven was mentioned, even though my eyes were closed, I saw and felt a bright light. At the end when I opened my eyes, everything was brighter and calmer. I am amazed.

  • This meditation was not for me. Maybe if you balance your chakras regularly this could work but I did not feel spiritually connected to each chakra as we were moving up. You should have some things about each chakra to help you unblock instead of just visualizing colors. But that’s just how I felt about it.

  • I got a really weird experience I began hearing sounds sort of what you would get if you slid paper on a wall but like a small swift brush and so I rubbed it off as a distraction then my ps4 began trying to eject the cd but it had nothing in it so it began making a jamming sound I turned it off and killed the power to it the next morning (today) I ran a couple of test on my ps4 to see if anything was wrong with it and I didn’t come across anything maybe it was just the console malfunctioning but it was a very weird timing for it to happen

  • so I had trouble really focusing and meditatingbut overall I think It worked. the thing is I couldnt really feel any of my chakras and had trouble picturing colors and stuff which is probably normal cause i dont meditate in general. but when i listen to stuff like this i have this very, just when u mentioned the “third eye” chakra? the indigo one. I had this strong very strong buzzing feeling like ticklish but more like strong strong buzzing feeling as if inside the skin somewhere in between my eyes but more to the right side of my face, right side of my forehead just below my right brow and in between the eyes. it was very very strong buzzing sensation which i ‘ve experienced before multiple times. what does that mean?
