Hawke Can Learn How Many Spells?

Hawke, a wizard character in Dragon Age: Inquisition on the PlayStation 4, has access to all six schools of magic, including Entropy magic, Creation magic, and Primal magic. He can eliminate multiple mobs at a time when specced to inflict STAGGER, a Primal/Force/Blood Mage.

To learn new abilities, a wizard must choose a number of wizard spells from their spellbook equal to their Intelligence modifier and wizard level (minimum of one spell). The upper bound of spell levels for a wizard is initial 6 first-level spells from level one, plus two times the levels of the highest level spell you can learn in.

The Spells Known column of the Sorcerer table shows when you learn more sorcerer spells of your choice. Hawke can access more spells that can be cast with Healing Aura up than Anders does. Merrill, a Primal/Force/Blood Mage, already knows blood magic when Hawke meets her and doesn’t see it as evil.

In Dragon Age: Inquisition on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled “How many spells are there compared to Origins?” discusses the power of blood magic, which can be used for violent, corrupting purposes.

A pocket guide for spellcasters of all experience levels, from “Abundance” to “Zest for Living”, includes over eighty spells and magical tips for spellcasters of all experience levels. Hawke can be male or female, starting with 6 spells and learning 2 every time they level up. At level 20, Hawke has 44 spells.

Hawke’s father was once used to use Blood Magic, as the Grey Wardens threatened to kill Leandra if he didn’t cast a binding.

  • finally someone who explains it correctly ty, i went mage 1st time cause i mean cmon when is a mage ever boring or underpowered? i was thinking about going rouge, but, went against it cause it seemed limited, after playing i see that it wouldnt have mattered, same seems to go for the warrior, they should hire you to write the descriptions for this stuff in their games, cause the people they did hire sucked it up.

I didnt wanna sink in the hours to regret my descision as i expect i will only play it once then mess about with ‘pivotal savefiles’ to see outcomes, and co-op. This helps loads, awesome !!

  • Do you know why choosing a class is the most difficult thing to start a new walkthrough for DA Inquisition? Because you have 9 possible companion,3 warriors,3 rogues & 3 mages. And don’t stop on that,Because all specialozations are taken for your companion,So nothing left for the inquisitor except o e thing,Mark of the Rift.

  • This article got some valid points about the rogue class, but: does a rogue deal AS MUCH or can it take as much damage as a warrior? No, even the game says that they are fragile and they are most useful when using advantageous positions. Is a rogue able to support it’s party members like a mage? Absolutely no. The point is, there is no such thing as an under powered group, you need all of them. And you are totally right about how personal class rogue is. PS. not being a hater, just told my personal opinion about this, and I agree with some of your points. PPS. I personally chose gunari warrior.

  • Do not, under any circumstances, pick Rogue. The dual wield is the best choice, but when you recruit teammates, you can pick Cole as your dual wield. The other 2 trees in rogue are useless. I’d say mage is the best option, but warrior isn’t bad either. Cause the skill trees have variation, and all trees for a mage and a warrior are useful.

  • first of all i 100% agree with you saying that rogue is best class in the game or you should choose rogue if your dont know what to choose first of all lets make somethings clear 1- we cant deny the fact that the rogue duel wield does the best dps and critical damage in the game 2- it does matter if you choose archer or duel wield thats the fact that the mage and archer are super super underpowerd by some thing like a warrior or double dagger 3- mage and archer are extremly reptitve in game theyr so boring and lame compared to other class’s 4- rogue ( duel wield ) is the most fun class in the game hands down warrior is cool but duel wield is way more overpowerd and fun than the warrior, mage and archer are just meh mage is okay but its underpowerd compared to rogue or warrior like i said before but mage is very very cool imo if you want the strongest in the game but you prefer mage 100% go with mage.
