A lower-level druid can prepare nine spells, with a Hit Dice of 1d8 per Druid Level. Hit Points at 1st level are 8 + your Constitution modifier, and at higher levels, they are an average of 5 + your Constitution modifier per Druid level beyond 1st. Proficiencies include light armor, hit dice, and hit points.
RAW suggests that a Level 1 Druid can only cast 2 First Level Spells per Long Rest, but they can know all the Druid spells in the book. A druid can only prepare a certain amount on every long rest, determined by their Wisdom modifier and druid level. Druids can prepare a number of spells equal to their Wisdom modifier + druid level.
One exception is the Circle of the Land Druid, which prepares spells after completing a long rest. Druids taking the Circle of the Land (per Land Type) and Circle of Spores get new spells at 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level. At level 1, a Druid knows 2 cantrips and a number of level 1 spells equal to their level + their Wisdom modifier. For example, a druid will not be able to learn more than two second-level spells if they only have two second-level spell slots.
