What is the science behind Nadi?

Nadi Vigyan is an ancient science that focuses on the free flow of prana within the 72, 000 nadis of the human body. It is described in Hatha yogic scriptures and Ayurvedic scriptures. In order to maintain good health and spiritual development, it is essential to channel this prana through specific asanas or equipment.

Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between the three doshas: Vata (air+ether), Pitta (fire+water), and Kapha (earth+water). Imbalances in these elements can lead to various disorders, with Vata elements causing up to 80 disorders, Pitta elements causing 40 disorders, and Kapha elements causing 20 disorders.

Ayurvedic diets should be tailored to an individual’s body type, considering these elements. For instance, a person with hyper-acidity may need to consume alkaline food to neutralize acidity and balance the Pitta element. Age can also affect these elements.

Nadi Parikshan, or pulse diagnosis, helps determine problems or disorders caused by imbalances in Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

The Nadi dosha can be cancelled in a number of ways, including if both the bride and groom have the same sign but different Janma nakshatra, signs, or Charan, or if both have the same Janma nakshatra but different Charan.

Is Nadi astrology true or fake?

Nadi Astrology, one of the oldest forms of astrology in India, is believed to have been classified a thousand years ago during the Chola reign in South India. The Nadis, which are named after the rishis and sages who recorded these findings, are written in ancient Tamil and are in poetry form. These Nadis are difficult to read due to their ancient Tamil language and are only accessible to expert linguists who have studied the form for many years.

Nadi Astrology originated in Souther India and has gained popularity in recent years. However, due to its popularity and lack of clarity about its nature, fraudulent knowledge and frauds pretending to be experts are being circulated.

Nadi Astrology provides accurate details of one’s past, including personal details, but is inaccurate about the future. The complete future is known to God alone, and no branch of astrology can foretell a 100-correct future. Rishis who wrote on Nadi leaves had visions about a person’s future life, and remedies (parihar) were given more importance.

The chances of locating a Nadi leaf are around 10-15, but with an India network with genuine Nadi centers, the chances of locating a leaf are likely 70-80.

  • Call me a doupting Thomas, but after perusal a article of one of the readings, surely the most amazing thing was that the reader told the person the names of his mother and father, two difficult names. The rest was mostly vague. Since you give them your email and your name when you register for a reading, how hard is it for somone to find information about you? And on their site they say that most of the cases where they don’t find bundles are from requests from Africa and Asia (where internet and information on the internet is not so much available as it is in western countries).

  • Dr. Q you are doing amazing sacred knowledge for Creation who had bigger things for you and it is only proper that you are part Asian. Nadi reading was part of Ancient India but most of Tamil Nadu no longer are the original Indians. Asia was Egypt, Turks, Arabs, Israel, Persia, India. China is the Orient. The Kings of Asia brought in African slaves and later the Portuguese brought in African slaves into South India, same as America, South America, etc. and slavery has hurt all civilizations. The original faith of India was scientific. All the teachers of all the faiths are from Asia, because it was their spiritual history, their narrative and it is India that is related to all. This is how planet earth was colonized. Asia was separate civilization but corruption separated them. Originally the Asian civilizations had nothing to do with the Europeans, Africans, Orientals. Today 85% population on this planet have Asian DNA. Egypt was Native Egyptians not Native African civilization, part of Asia. The Pharoah’s belief system was rebirth, The Lotus Flower (the Indian Prince “Buddha)who colonized the Orient), the snake head gear over the third eye symbolizing primitive energy to enlightenment. Egypt went corrupt and was scattered within Asia “Babel” The names, stories in the Old Testament are Asian e.g. Sarai, Amir, Shemi (Indian). Look up the Anahata Chakra. Eventually “Babel” will be put back together, your soul is bigger than you think, you will witness much because you have become strong and a seeker of knowledge.

  • Thank you Craig and Dr Q for this informative article. I just had my Nadi reading and it was very interesting. First, there was matching process and I had to answer many questions. There were many leaves that did not match, but finally, I was very grateful, because there was a matching leaf! The moderator was brilliant, she explained everything very well and the readers were amazing. I received a lot of interesting and useful information. I do have a problem to figure out how to do pujas, because they are very hindu religion based and I cannot, unfortunately, worship Hindu deities. I will try to do the prayers addressing God instead of a particular deity.

  • A few years ago my mother told me she was reading a article in a Sri Lankan newspaper stating that a nadi reader was caught out in what was a rather elaborate scheme that spanned multiple countries. She said that the article stated that the Marriages, Births and Registers in other countries was infiltrated by people whom were providing information to the Nadi readers . I was intrigued by this to see if I can find that article online. I personally had a Nadi reading done many years ago in Australia. It takes time for them to find the information and isn’t done on the spot. Which leads me to think there maybe some truth to it. I am not too sure. I would like to know Craig what you may think of this.
