How Do Liandries Relate To Physical Spells?

Liandry’s Torment is a legendary item in League of Legends that is a crucial item for mages dealing damage over time, altering gameplay for several champions. It is a unique passive that activates when dealing ability damage, applying a damage-over-time effect for 3 seconds that deals bonus magic damage equal to 2 of the target’s current health. Liandry’s Torment works with all activated abilities, whether physical, magical, or True, and is a completely differentiator from other abilities that do not trigger on-hit effects or are an AA replacement.

Lyandry’s Torment works with all active skills, as it works on spell damage, not magic damage. It is a completely differentiator from other abilities that do not trigger on-hit effects or are an AA replacement. Physical and magical damage will be reduced by armor and magic resistance.

There is a common misconception that you “have” to buy Liandry’s Torment, as her plants do not scale with AP Mpen. The combination of rylai liandries is good for raw damage output, and Void Staff is an ideal route for dealing physical damage.

Is Liandry’s good on Vlad?

Liandry’s Torment is a powerful item for Vlad, as it constantly deals damage and has slows that double his passive damage. However, due to recent changes, this item is no longer a core item in the League of Legends Wiki. The strategy pages are highly subjective and may become outdated without notice.

Having at least 1 rank of Sanguine Pool can help Vladimir survive longer by reseting aggro and allowing him to turret dive or dodge abilities. However, it has a long cooldown and short duration, so it should not be relied on for escapes. It is also useful during teamfights when waiting for cooldowns and without Zhonya’s Hourglass.

During Sanguine Pool, Vladimir can use summoners spells and items to his advantage. He becomes untargetable to both enemy and allied champions during this time. Using Sanguine Pool at the right moment can dodge projectiles or AoE abilities like Enchanted Crystal Arrow, Trueshot Barrage, Requiem, Absolute Zero, Monsoon, Death Lotus, Time Bomb, Dark Matter, Explosive Cask, and Ace in the Hole.

Hemoplague causes targets to take bonus damage, so it is advised to use it at the beginning of team fights to increase overall damage. Banshee’s Veil negates both increased damage debuff and 5 second delayed damage component, so spend as many of the opposing team’s charges prior to activating.

Hemoplague can be used to finish off low-health enemies under their turret, but be wary of champions who can counter delayed damage. Casting Hemoplague on Shaco’s or LeBlanc’s clones will not affect them, indicating which twin is real.

Why is Liandry’s good against tanks?

Liandry’s Torment, a tank bleeding item, was previously a contradiction due to its percent health damage and flat magic penetration. It was either overtuned or did both jobs too well. The new item now rewards champions who stay in combat for a while, casting spells on the tougher opponents. The unique passive no longer grants Eyes of Pain, but instead increases damage dealt by 2 per second until exiting combat.

  • The first pentakill I ever got in League of Legends was when Aram mode was first introduced and I got akali and I have no idea what I did but basically just rolled my face across the keyboard and managed to get the Penta. I haven’t played her since but that’s probably one of my fondest memories of playing League of Legends.

  • Dude you are a legend! Always been interested in Akali and after perusal this decided to give it a go. First game i went 16/3 and last night went 29/6 there have been a few bad games in between but it will take a bit to learn matchups etc and get a feel for combos and knowing when you have enough to get the kill. Thank you!🙏

  • Hey man, I have want to say thank you. I have been wanting a new main for awhile now and Akali has always been a champ I’ve had my eye on. I have always played mage style champs mostly Veigar and Vex when she was released so the transition of play style kept me from doing this sooner. I watched your article and followed your recommendations, practiced combos and kept attention to details like you said. This article has been such a huge help to me and since last night I’ve been on a killing frenzy with majority games won.

  • Hi 🙂 u told us about building lethality akali that is more of “for fun” build but i’ve never seen u playing/talking about energized attack akali. What u hink about it? It would be similar to AD oneshot thresh build, focusing around energized attack combined with Akali’s passive, as most of energized attack items deal magic damage so u can still take Magic pen boots, and only phisical energized item let u stack energized attack faster with dashes (and akali have a lot of dashes as we all know). I’d really like to know your opinion or maybe even a article with it 😉 but no pressure XD btw love the guide <3 when i started maining akali your 1st ultimate guide was my bible

  • man idk, i spent most of my life playing and learning akali (personally i think i’m really clean with her and can do all the combo perfectly) and i can’t even carry games in bronze ’cause once a garen or any bruiser gets 1 mr item you start doing negative dmg and once you can’t 1 vs 5 anymore the game is over, I switched to playing random champs and adcs and got 80% winrate in over 50 games (i’m emerald atm) while a solid 22% with akali
