Is mouse A Boy or a girl?
Males and females differ in their genitalia and anus at all postnatal stages. After two weeks of age, female nipples are typically visible, while males do not. The scrotum of the male (and testes, if everted) is an obvious marker. To sex newborn mice, orient the cage so that the bars run left-right and put the mouse on the wire rack of the cage. Gently bend the butt end of the mouse to pull away from you using the bars of the cage.
Embryos and fetuses can be typed by PCR with primers SMCX-1 5’CCGCTGCCAAATTCTTTGG3′ and SMC4-1 5’TGAAGCTTTTGGCTTTGAG3′. Females give a single band, while males give two bands due to an intron difference between the X and Y genes. Alternatively, Jarid 1c F CTGAAGCTTTTGGCTTTGAG and Jarid 1 c R CCACTGCCAAATTCTTTGG primers amplify a band of 331 bp in females but two bands of 302 and 331 bp in males.
To mate mice, house a male mouse with one or two female mice until the pups are ready to be weaned. If needed, remove the unwanted sex a few days after birth. Females are better mothers if they have at least three pups to care for, so don’t cull too severely. If needed to expand a strain quickly, mate females in estrus with the males every day and check plugs the next morning. House females of similar plug dates together until weaning, although some strains may require a cage split to avoid overcrowding.
Gestation is 18 to 20 days, depending on the strain.

Animal tails are fascinating appendages that serve various functions, including helping animals move, communicate, and stay warm. They are found in various forms, such as crayfish, swallow-tailed butterflies, and luna moths. Crayfish have a powerful, muscular tail that propels them along the bottom of their waterways, making survival possible. Insects lack true tails, but swallow-tailed butterflies and luna moths have tail-like projections that extend from their hind wings.
Aquatic vertebrates like fish, seals, dolphins, and whales rely on their tails for locomotion, making them among nature’s most graceful creatures. Their powerful tails propel them through water at speeds only powerboats can match.

📹 Tail Feathers – How To Play
In this video, we’re going to learn how to play Tail Feathers! If you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to post …
firstly this looks very interesting, the movement system alone is enough to intrigue me. It is also great to have this website pop up in my subs list again. I do hope however that the next game you look at isn’t another RPG in a box, gotta keep those game types varied. Maybe a deck builder like the new versions of legacy…
I’m really pumped about this game and can’t wait for it to come out! I already pre-ordered since I managed to get in on the playtesting for this. For me it was a no-brainer. I play a fair amount of Attack Wing and I can say this game has replaced it completely for me. There’s so much going on in this game, it’s really hard to describe. Yet it all flows together nicely during gameplay. It’s all heavily thematic and you really do feel like you’re the general waging air and ground battles, complete with real tactics and strategy. I’ve played it with my 11 yr old son and he’s hooked as well. He doesn’t even like direct confrontation games, but this has been the exception. Anyway, enough gushing….go and order the game….it’s gonna be amazing!
One of the things I really like about this is the birds look like they’ll be awesome painted and even my mother will appreciate them on display when she visits… unlike my super dungeon explore minis that I spent so much time on. Monsters are just not her thing. Hopefully the appealing nature of the minis will encourage more people to play mini skirmish games.
I am on the edge concerning this game because I know my friends and I are usually picky about a some rules and way to address collision or range in a type of game like this. (By the way great article! It did create a lot of hype and I love it!) First question. I was just curious about the rules concerning the collision of two models and how the game handled the placement of templates upon other birds or miniatures? Any easy means to remove the birds or minis and keep track of where they where? Second question. That might sound weird in a way but… how sturdy is that twig? Twig-sturdy or respectably branch-wanna-be sturdy? Again thanks a lot for the overview of the game!
How come this article has onle 24K views and 250ish likes? Your articles are great. They really explain the games in a mildly fast paced and technical accurate explanations. Meaning, you do not waste any words in the articles. Different from other websites which I do feel like I’m learning less from the articles in the same article duration. I don’t even know why I’m not subscribed yet. I’m going to fix that right now!
Hi, I’m Victor Nikolai, I’m from Brazil, my wife and I have a website on youtoub where we talk about boardgames and we are also organizers of an event that happens in our town that is a table tennis players meeting. Game Tail Feathers, from the publisher that sponsors us here in Brazil and we will be the first website to make a gameplay article of the game here in Brazil, I already filmed the part that I appear, but I could not make good images where I can show more closely The thumbnails, you allow me to use part of your article to show these part where I will speak of the thumbnails and I will edit to appear the image that you show the thumbnails. Can I use part of your article? And another thing, your article is very good.
Great article as always, Rodney! I bought it a few days ago and I was surprised at how overwhelmed by the rules I was. For instance, Cry Havoc felt a lot easier to grasp. The rulebook could’ve been better I think. As always your articles are of great help. Some things that popped up during my first game were: can a miniature perform a ranged attack even if it’s in close range from the target it intends to attack? Birds can only attack ground units or nests with swoops or can they just end their movement near their target close enough to be at close range and perform a regular melee attack with its pilot’s attack value? Thank you very much in advance!
