Care Credit is a healthcare credit card designed to provide special financing options for health expenses. It allows cardholders to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for themselves, their family, and even pets. Once approved, cardholders can use the card to charge healthcare-related expenses that are not covered by an insurance policy.
Rite Aid accepts CareCredit in all its locations nationwide for purchases that include prescriptions, over-the-counter items, and other qualifying purchases. The card is valid on select items at retail stores, but not all healthcare providers accept CareCredit. Cardholders can use the card at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, and Sam’s Club for medical-related purchases, such as prescriptions, as well as other qualifying purchases, such as vitamins and baby care items.
The Acceptance Locator at Rite Aid allows customers to use their CareCredit credit card at over 2500 Rite Aid drugstore locations to help pay for pharmacy prescriptions, personal care, deductibles, and more. In addition to prescription and general merchandise purchases, CareCredit can also be used for out-of-pocket expenses at RediClinics.
Rite Aid runs exclusive prescription savings, discounts, and bonus offers for customers paying with a CareCredit card, including 10 off eligible items. To use the card at Rite Aid, visit the Rite Aid website and fill your virtual cart with Care Credit eligible items.
The CareCredit card is accepted only at select Rite Aid pharmacy stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. If you spend a certain amount, like over $200, you pay no interest for 6 months or a year, but the interest rate is similar to any other credit card. Cardholders may use a CareCredit card to pay for copayments, deductibles, and large medical expenses like emergency care or surgery.
