How Does The Pyromancer Perform Spell Casting?

Pyromancy in Dark Souls is a simple form of magic that does not require investment in stats like Sorcery or Miracles. It uses only one Catalyst, the Pyromancy Flame, and has no stat restrictions on its spells. The player can currently cast 30 pyromancies with all Flames and the White Hair Talisman.

Power Within is a Pyromancy that provides a temporary boost to strength and endurance while draining HP over time. It increases attack power and can be cast with a hand axe. Pyromancers combine early access to Pyromancy with other classes, such as Sorceries and Miracles.

Pyromancies are fire spells used offensively that do not require any Faith or Intelligence and can be cast with the Pyromancy Flame or Dark Pyromancy. They are one of the three available Spell types in Dark Souls III, alongside Sorceries and Miracles. To cast a Pyromancy, players must equip their Pyromancy Flame and Catalyst/Talisman, and only use spells or miracles when they are an active weapon.

A 100 spellcaster build aimed at NG+ uses Fire magic, using Constitution to cast spells. Casting a pyromancy requires an attuned pyromancy and a catalyst, which can be cumbersome for new players. A pyromancy glove can be set as a “weapon” slot and used as any other weapon to cast the selected spell.
