Do copied spells trigger heroic?
The text explains that a heroic ability triggers only when the creature’s controller casts a spell that targets it, not when any other player does. It also states that activated abilities, such as equip, do not cause heroic abilities to trigger. Instant or sorcery spells have a target if they include the word “target” in their rules text. Aura spells also have a target, indicated by their enchant ability. Creature spells and non-aura permanent spells never have targets.
Heroic abilities resolve before the spell that caused them to trigger. They trigger only once per spell, even if that spell targets the creature with the heroic ability multiple times. Heroic abilities won’t trigger when a copy of a spell is created on the stack or when a spell’s targets are changed to include a creature with a heroic ability. If the spell that caused the heroic to be triggered is countered, heroic will still resolve.
An example of a heroic ability is the Favored Hoplite Creature, which is a Human Soldier 1/2 Heroic. When casting a spell that targets Favored Hoplite, a +1/+1 counter is placed on it and prevents all damage dealt to it this turn.

Requirement: Make sure you have sweeping gale skill > Use Pillar Stance > Build up one focus point Activate Glitch: One click light attack + One click heavy attack + Spam cloud step spell (RT + Triangle) How it works: When you spam the cloud step spell after the sweeping gale, the destined one goes into cloud step after finishing the sweeping gale animation. Now press light attack to step out of cloud spell. Now the glitch should be live. You can start spamming spells. Note: 1. Transforming and resting in shrines deactivates the glitch. 2. At times, I was able to activate the glitch without the focus point but it was not consistent so I recommend always doing it with a focus point. 3. Spamming cloud step is not really necessary but the timing matters so if you are new to, keep spamming to consistently get inside the glitch. Hope this helps!
For anyone that sees this – I did some testing on PC, and did not need a focus point. All I did was used pillar stance then pressed light attack > heavy attack > then did cloud step and it worked. Update – Edit: Unlock endeavor so you won’t need to use a focus point – this allows you to do a heavy attack regardless.
I dont mind dying to bossess, but if im stuck on one ill use this…and have, lol i want to continue the amazing story and enjoy the beautifully crafted world. Not beat my head against the wall for hours/days on one boss..disable auto updates ftw! Dont understand why they dont have difficulty options like story mode all the way up to perfect dodge spam godmode to give the varied player base their preferred choice to enjoy their game.
Wow I cannot believe it works and I did it by accident I wasn’t in the pillar Stance I was in the smash dance and it still worked the trick is on the PS5 you don’t have to continue to click it as soon as you press the light attack and then the Heavy attack immediately press cloud step I can’t believe it works also turn off automatic updates on your playstation 5 not only that but I turned off the network as well on my playstation 5 Wow I can’t believe it works and like I said you don’t on the PS5I don’t know about the PC you don’t have to continue to press it all you need to do is press it once that’s how I did maybe I did it by accident I don’t know
You’re an absolute legend for this, I’ve been stuck on the final boss of chapter 5 for days and I absolutely destroyed him with this. WARNING ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️DO NOT USE SPELLBINDER WITH THIS GLITCH OR IT WILL DISABLE YOU FROM DOING SPELLS⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️but if you rest, you will still be in the glitch so meh👍
He is very easy to beat using charged attacks. When he lunges at you dodge dodge then create distance between you and him by dodging or running to the opposite side of his arena. This causes him to slowly walk towards you, giving you enough time to charge your staff. Go in for the hit and repeat. He will sometimes lunge at you while he is walking slowly towards you, but 70% of the time, he doesn’t. When he starts charging his special charged strike attack, either wind chime right away or transform into whatever DPS form you like. After that, repeat the top steps. Try to conserve mana and throw in an immobilized or save cloud step if you get trapped or screwed by camera angle
Im so fucking mad I put this game down because I was sick of it I should have beat it with this glitch and moved on with my life. After realizing how much I missed at the end of chapter 5 because of the dog shit level design I have no desire to go back and grab shit I missed or grind up levels would much rather just beat red boy and finish this mid game
