The Parkland shooting in Florida has sparked a surge in victim-related conspiracies, with conspiracy theorists accusing survivors of the mass shooting. The term “crisis actor” has been in the news recently, as conspiracy theorists have accused survivors of the Douglas High School mass shooting. One such story involves the claim that David Hogg, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, was a fraud due to being coached by his coach.
The activist movement that emerged in its aftermath had a name (Never Again), and the mental disorder of the shooter could have mitigated his punishment. After tragedies like the Manchester bombing, Pulse nightclub shooting, Paris attacks, and Sandy Hook shootings, stories of “crisis actors” surfaced. The students who survived the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are now the subject of conspiracy theories that have entered the mainstream.
Conspiration theorists, including white supremacists, are attempting to disparage and discredit high school students who survived the shooting. The fringe right is racing once again to generate some theory to cast doubt on the Parkland shooting. Teens in Parkland, Florida, have taken on the gun-reform debate in full force, and the students who have called for stronger gun control measures are now the subject of conspiracy theories that have spread far and wide. All I have to say that if this had been one of my children that survived this, I wouldn’t want them on TV being taking advantage of, and if mine was one that didn’t survive, I’m sorry, but that Sheriff and the FBI would be having a hard time walking around giving interviews….they should be hiding somewhere. That’s what I can’t believe. They failed those students, so why are we having parades talking about gun control. Shouldn’t those parents being camping out on the law makers and the polices front lawns? Just saying something doesn’t add up.

All those wearing the red graduation gown also are wearing Hawaiian lei’s. The photo is dated 2014. Oh, and his mother and little sister are also in the picture. Weird, huh?
Regardless of your political affiliation or beliefs on gun reform. Do NOT disrespect these young victims and their families with these absurd notions of children being payed actors. The last thing they deserve is negligent adults NOT listening to them. The powerless voices demand help, and y’all refuse to lend it, to your own children. It’s no wonder the US is slipping into the abyss. The salaries you pay your teachers, clearly you don’t want them to grown into leaders, or even grow up at all. DO SOMETHING!
Did our youth even pay attention to Patrick Henry’s speech? “Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconcilation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which king’s resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us into submission?” So our brainwashed generation believe that increased gun control will stop violence just because the main stream media, Twitter and Snapchat say so. Did they forget that Alfred P. Murrah’s attack on the FBI building in OKC was used by fertilizer? Or what caused 9/11 to happen, box cutters & planes? Or what happened in Boston of 2013, pressure cookers being used? These kids think that the 2nd Amendment only applies to self defense against people trying to break in to a home or someone who is threatening them. It’s also used for defense against a tyrannical government, all foreign and domestic.
ALso I know it wasn’t you guys that broke this story (I think it was CNN) but you shouldn’t be giving airtime to tragedies like this because studies have shown that showing/glorifying tragedies increases the amount of tragedies occur. This goes for suicides, serial killings and mass shootings/killings.
How is it Facebook’s or any Social Media’s responsibility to ensure this stuff isn’t publicized? Social Media is just the platform being used by other people… It isn’t the fault of social media… This is like blaming guns for killing… It is the people behind the gun, just like it is the people behind the social media account. Stop shifting the blame onto innocent parties! It’s time to start using your brain people.. I know it’s hard, sometimes… But, critical thinking goes a long way.
So nobody is saying that its wrong to try to gain publicity to the already tragic loss of life, but let this kid with no adult to supervise his opinions to an already tragic disaster,but yeah without the approval of the parents of the deceased allow an unchapparoned kid airout in a public media forum. Not to smart, Not very respectful of the dead either. cash in on it sure.
It is not fair for them to say far right. When it concerns this young man there is a lot to lose of the American way if this kid had what he wants accomplished so I don’t think it’s unfair or write too harshly judge people who are scrutinizing who he is. Think of it in terms of Investigation if you are a police investigator you need to establish who this person is what their background is if they are who they say they are and any evidence to the contrary. And not to mention motive well it seems like this man has motive he has a background in FBI through his father and a background in journalism at least on a student scale and he desires to be a journalist. Well the motivation is him doing what he is doing is motivation to get promoted. The other thing a person only has to be logical and reasonable with a grieving character a remorseful character or the character of a person who has just seen something horrendous this man displays none of those characters the character he displays is disingenuine arrogant boastful which seems to indicate that this is all publicity and he is not exactly telling the truth. Now an ignorant person dismisses information if he is lying and this is a deeper agenda a disarmament program psychologically put on by high-profile people inside the US which is not outside of the realm of possibility one only has to look into operation Northwoods and see what they were willing to do to get something accomplished to understand there’s nothing these people won’t do or say.
