How To Advance Spell Level In Harry Potter’S Legacy?

In Hogwarts Legacy, players can unlock Talents to upgrade their spells and gain more spell slots. Each level allows players to acquire a Talent Point, which can be used to upgrade their spells, such as being harder to detect when invisible. The game also offers 34 spells that can be learned and used in combat, puzzle solving, and quest completion.

To unlock all spells in Hogwarts Legacy, players must play the campaign until they unlock Talents. This guide provides information on leveling, maximum levels, and how to level up quickly in the game. To level up fast, players need to earn XP by completing Wizards’ Field Guide challenges and competing in battle.

To build a character that fits their own playstyle, players can use a maxima potion or upgrade their gear with traits to make specific spells more powerful. To increase their spell slots, players can use a talent point to acquire spell slot upgrades, which can be used to increase spell slots to 8, 12, and 16 respectively.

In addition to unlocking spells and charms, players can also learn how to rotate the number of Spell Sets they can rotate at a given time. By understanding the various abilities available in Hogwarts Legacy, players can improve their skills and experience throughout their adventure.

  • Well, I made it to the cinematic introducing Hogwarts, then immediately got told I couldn’t play anymore until the game finished updating. After 11 hours, it’s still only 3/4 done, and it doesn’t increase at all in rest mode. Guess I’ll just make a second character tomorrow morning while I wait for it to finish (assuming it doesn’t loss the progress cause I turned off the console… Also, turns out going to the system settings during the tutorial section kills you instantly and shrouds everything in grey when you respawn…

  • Just play as you want, why force rushing to do something because “it’s the only way to play it”? It’s not a MMORPG with BIS list of whatever other stuff, chill. I despise this gaming mindset, it simply ruins the overall experience from the game. Ideally players should be encouraged to explore things naturally by themselves as they progress with quests. Here you just reveal everything and make out of it monotone – do this, do that, and then you get that. Not good 👎

  • I don’t particularly like depulso. It often throws the enemy behind a barrier, or out of range, then I can’t finish them off. I much prefer accio, pulling the enemy toward you, so then you can use the combo glacius, diffendo, confringo. That combo usually defeats them, even without a power-up potion.

  • I’m trying to figure out what difficulty I should play it on. Please can you provide a comparison to other current games? For example, I recently completed GoW Raganarok on normal difficulty (100%) and will probably attempt a higher difficulty level. With Hogwarts, would you say “hard” is equivalent of a normal game in GoW? Thanks.

  • So you play as a student of hogwarts and you are killing other students? Orr..? I don’t get the concept of the game very well. But that seems weird to me. It would make more sense if you were like an agent of the Ministry of Magic, and were sent to Hogwarts on a mission, whatever that might be.. then the article game violence would be more explainable.

  • Not calling this article out for what im about to say at all but this definetley is the start of articles that will result in everyone spamming the same op combo inevitablly leading to people blaming the company for boring repetitive combat. Some of yall just gotta be creative and have some fun and stop seeking out the exploits.

  • It caps as soon as you finished all the combat challenges and enemy Typ challenges. I was lvl 32 when i finished my last enemy challenge and now i DON‘T gain ANY exp from enemies, no matter if i kill a random wizard, a troll or even a boss no exp gain… As i’m now done with all guide pages, combat challenges, beast capture challenges, merlin challenges, etc im struggling to lvl up further… i have a few balloons, landing spots and ancient magic ones left but all of them will be just 1more lvl so i guess my last few lvl for 34 to 40 i need to do with missions… pretty stupid design of the developers to only give exp for challenges in my opinion.

  • The XP is for killing enemies to complete your Combat section in the guidebook. As soon as you have killed enough of the enemies you won’t get XP any longer. This also means that when you encounter the enemies later in the game, they will no longer grant you experience points. So it is kind of a waste of time to grind there.

  • This works at the beginning but you cannot hit 40 this way. XP only comes from completing the game’s challenges some of which are being completed by doing what this article shows. But hitting 40 involves completing every side mission and main story mission as well as a lot of challenges that take place in the open world.

  • This does work and you can complete a lot of challenges (or whatever they are called) at the same time. I went from something like level 13 to 19 and there does not seem to be a limit. However once I was at 19 I noticed it was taking at least 3 times to go up a single level so I guess the higher you go the less you earn towards levelling up. But as I was constantly running into level 20-ish enemies when free roaming, this helped immensely with not being out-levelled!

  • this game feels so unfinished, con: gives better stat armor over and over, cosmetics gets taken off everytime u put new clothes on, leveling feels pointless unless u just want more health. forbidden forest feels so underwhelming, armor being heavly re-used, legendary gear becomes useless once u level once up due to low tier gear has better stats, replay of the game feels like a chore at the start, so many pages need to be found so u are running around casting the same spell over and over every sec to see if a page is near. pro.. looks nice
