Honorable mention to your Honorable mention: A very good use for the Tome of Fire for Early to mid level is alongside the Iban Staff using Iban’s Blast. This is a very powerful spell in the early/mid-game and won’t consume any charges from the Tome of Fire. It also won’t give the damage boost but, it’s still unlimited Fire runes which means Iban’s Blast will only require Death runes to cast.
I think a “cheaper” alternative to the kodai could be a nightmare staff without an orb. Pros: Gives 15% magic damage bonus. (Same as kodai) Can autocast ancient magicks (Same as kodai) Cost 27.5 m Requires 65 magic & 50 hitpoints Cons: Doesn’t give free water runes. Doesn’t preserve runes. Has lesser accuracy and defence stats.
This is an amazing article, my only complaint is i had to rewind sometimes when you’d mention some gear, because I couldn’t understand what exactly you were saying. I think it’s a combo of your accent and some of the names of the items. (example: 2:40, i thought you said something like “brewder” but the item name is “broodoo”) I think this could easily be fixed simply by putting text of the item on the article, for convenience
Hi, your vids have been a godsend .. some of us were already ‘older players’ back in the begining (late 50’s now) 1st played in 04…. keeping up with the younguns now ive returned to the game is somewhat overwhelming. im currently using toxic staff of dead with tomb of fire.. no mention from you… opinion on item and how it sits in game with tomb of fire please sir… regards pyscodelic
Fury gives the same attack bonus as a glory. Occult over the master wand for gp value surely? Seers (i) could have been mentioned as early as the first seers ring. Mention that the trident casts its own spells and does not have an auto cast feature for spellbooks. Stopped perusal because while you have a lot of good content, this seems rushed and to be honest lazy.
Just some constructive critisism: Please note in the article that the first p2p magic armour you can get starts at requiring 40 defence and 40 magic. Im level 1 magic and just was looking for the lvl 1 set up to start grinding magic. Spent 500k on gear i cant wear until im lvl 40 magic. That’s abit of a bummer. Otherwise, Great article! Note: I did see the level numbers at the beginning but didn’t realise what they were.
