How To Determine Whether The Magic Band Is Charged?

The MagicBand+ is a new rechargeable band for Walt Disney World that requires charging and linking to the mobile app. It is designed to enhance your vacation with customizable features and can be charged using a USB cable or a portable phone charger. The battery status can be checked via the app or the band color, and features affected by low or depleted batteries can be optimized.

To set up, access, and manage the MagicBand+, you need to follow these steps:

1. Charge the MagicBand+ by clicking the button on the back of the band, and the ring on the band’s face flashes green.

2. A 6-inch USB charging cable is included with the purchase of the MagicBand, which can be purchased separately online or at Walt Disney World.

3. Set up and customize the MagicBand+ for Disney World, allowing you to interact with parks and 50th Anniversary statues.

4. Check the battery status through the My Disney Experience App or by the colors displayed on the MagicBand+. When the band is fully charged, the entire LED Ring will glow green. When the battery is low/very low, a corner of the ring will glow.

5. Flashing Red indicates that the band needs to be charged immediately, while flashing Green indicates a fully charged battery.

When charging the MagicBand+, you can see a battery icon on the My Disney Experience App and three red lights in the bottom left corner. Troubleshooting is also possible.
