How To Determine Your Tarot Year?

To determine your Tarot Growth Year, add the day and month of your birth to the year you want to look at. Take that total and add all the numbers in a row. If the sum is more than 22, add together the resulting numbers. It can be great to calculate your Tarot year card at the beginning of the year, so that you may take that insight forward. Alternatively, some people may do so starting on Lunar New Year or on their birthdays. This exercise can be done year-long, constantly providing you with insight.

To calculate your personal Tarot card of the year based on your birth month, date, and year, discover what each tarot card means for your life in 2022. This comprehensive guide will help you gain insights and navigate through the ups and downs of your spiritual journey. The Tarot Year Card is calculated by adding your birth month, day of birth, and the current calendar year. Then reducing the sum to 22 or less.

To find your Tarot Growth Year, add the month and day of your birth to the current year, and the resulting number corresponds with a Major Arcana card. All you need to do is add the month + day + year and add digits of that sum. For example, to calculate the 2024 card of the year, Strength, you will add the month and day of your birth to the current year.

Using the same method as for your Personality/Birth Card, add the number of the day and month you were born to the year you are in or coming up. To calculate your year card, add your birth month and date to the current year. Then, add the digits of that number together. If the new number is greater than 22, it doesn’t add up. An exception is the Fool in the Year.

In summary, to calculate your Tarot Growth Year, first add the day and month of your birth to the year you want to look at. If the sum is more than 22, add the resulting numbers together.

How to calculate personal tarot card of the year?

The author suggests a method for calculating a spiritually significant trinity by adding the month and day of birth together for one sum, then separately adding the digits for the given year. This process is repeated for the third order, which is when the digits are added together. The theosophic reduction is then performed, if the sum is over 22, by adding the digits together for a single digit sum. The author acknowledges the complexity of metaphysics and the various approaches and correspondence systems used in this process.

What is the luckiest card in the tarot?

The Wheel of Fortune card, part of the Major Arcana, is a symbol of destiny, fortune, success, elevation, luck, and felicity. It is often depicted in a six- or eight-spoked wheel, often attended by an individual dressed in an Egyptian-style headdress. In some decks, such as the AG Müller, the wheel is also attended by an individual wearing a blindfold. The wheel is not always inscribed with any lettering, but the letters T-A-R-O (clockwise) or T-O-R-A (counter clockwise) can be found aligned against four of the spokes, which can also be interpreted as R-O-T-A, the Latin word meaning “wheel”.

In some decks, such as the Waite, the wheel is inscribed with additional alchemical symbols representing the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. These emblems can also be seen on the Magician’s table in the Magician card (Card I).

Is it possible to read Tarot cards for yourself?

Tarot readings can be done by beginners, providing insight into current situations, honoring intuition, and forecasting potential outcomes. To begin, clean the energy of your space by burning herbs, ringing bells or chimes, taking a bath, or using crystals. A Selenite wand is a popular energy refresher that aids clarity.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes, focusing on the protective energy surrounding you. Take deep breaths, think about your question or needing guidance, and keep your mind and heart open to the answers that may come through the cards. Shuffle the deck, focusing on your desired query, and shuffle the cards in front of you. The pattern laid out is called a “spread”, and the meaning of each card in combinations builds up to the overall answer to your query.

Before beginning to shuffle, know which spread you will be working with. As answers come through, it’s important to draw additional cards for further clarity or start with a new question from a different perspective. Tarot readings can be a powerful tool for personal growth and understanding.

Tarot practitioners have named the Strength card as 2024’s card of the year, as it is the eighth card in most modern English-language tarot decks. This card can be used to frame and contextualize a specific period of time, helping to guide or support us. Author and artist Sarah Faith Gottesdiener suggests that the card of the year can provide clues into the theme of the year. For example, in 2023, a Chariot card year, Eliza Swann, founder of the Golden Dome School, moved houses four times, as the Chariot card is traditionally associated with movement and momentum.

How do I calculate my growth?

To calculate growth rate percentage, use the basic formula by subtracting the original from the new value and dividing the results by the original value. To calculate the average growth rate, divide the present by the past value, multiply by 1/N (years), and subtract the result by 1. To calculate the internal growth rate, divide net income by average total assets and retain earnings by net income. • I have a couple of question and I hope you can clarify. If you only reduce the number if it’s over 22 (because there’s only 22 Major Arcana) then how would you ever pull the 0 card–The Fool? You would never get any Major Arcana cards that are in the lower end. Even if someone’s birthday is January 1st and it’s 2020, then the greatest number they’ll get is 6 and only grow higher from there. I feel like I’m misunderstanding or doing something wrong. Also, lets say I’m using a traditional deck like the Rider Waite tarot and my growth number for this years turns out to be an 8 (which it is). Do I go to “Strength” because it’s #8 or would I go to #9 “The Hermit” because 0 “The Fool” counts as #1. Or do you not count The Fool because it’s a 0. Any info you could provide would be great. Thank you. And I love your articles! They’re very helpful. I particularly like the Deck Interview article. 🙂

  • Hi and Merry Meet! Funny thing I Added my BD and 2021 and got Temperance???? So I guess I should learn to bring about balance, patience and moderation in my life. And I should take the middle road, avoiding extremes and maintain a sense of calm. Hmmm Well I would rather have the Hermit, but I guess its better than the Devil huh? Great article BTW Merry Part!

  • Well, I got the Hanged Man, and wowzers that is an accurate card. I did just want to make a comment relating to a comment you read from The New Tarot Handbook… The six-pointed star, sometimes referred to as Mogen David (“Shield of David”) is indeed generally regarded as a symbol of Judaism — but that is a relatively modern invention that the majority of historians date back only to the late 17th or early 18th century, with the first generally accepted use of it as a symbol of the religion occurring in the city of Prague. Before that, and throughout history, both the 5- and 6-pointed stars were used in Judaism (obviously NOT exclusively!), and many historians consider the 6-pointed star to be used almost exclusively as a protective talisman from at least the late 15th century and back… with the source of both pentagram & hexagram being considered magickal likely originating in pre-Islamic Arab culture. (In fact, the names “Seal of Solomon” and “Seal of David” were sometimes used interchangeably for pentagram and/or hexagram up until the 15th century, give or take a few decades.) And yes, this information is eminently Google-able… and yes, I am — at least culturally — Jewish. 🙂
