The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim allows players to “spell-enchant” weapons, shields, and jewelry, allowing them to cast spells with their weapon or shield. To do so, players can press the MCM configurable and add their new effect to the enchantment. Some popular spellsword mods include Hotkey auto cast, Battlemage, and Dual Wield Parry SSE.
A spell, like firebolt, is enchanted onto the weapon, and players hold down a casting button to charge it. The mod page allows players to store the spell they are dual casting, which can be unleashed by power attacks and power bashes. The Spell Hotbar on Github adds an MMO-like hotbar system for spells, shouts, and powers to Skyrim, supporting up to 12 slots and enabling modifier bars (ctrl, alt, etc).
There is currently no mod available to allow spell casting with two-handed weapons. However, a mod called “recycleactor” has been developed to allow spell casting with two-handed weapons. Players can set their weapons to fists, go to 3rd person mode, and click on themselves to type “recycleactor” to perform a pose and then switch to first-person fist mode.

First, open up your favorites and scroll to whatever you want to hotkey, then hold left or right on the D-pad until a 1 or 2 appears next to the item. I played this game through 4 times, and I’m thorough with side quests. Never thought about binding to the number row after the first hour of the first time. I just started Special Edition after a few play throughs of Fallout, and just thought to look this up… You’d think I’d have figured this out considering I have a freaking IT degree. Nope. Thank you for this sis years later. lol.
@MrHamsterpower yes sorry i didn’t mean that, the thing is that the animation of the spells does not appear in the hand, it takes a while for it to appear and for the spell to make any effect unless i pause the game and then it appears so it only happens with the fast switching method (1, 2,3,4, ….) thanks anyways.

Because of multiple reasons; 1. Console’s are basically computers specifically for gaming, and as such are not as versatile as pc’s. 2. pc’s are upgrade-able pretty easily but console’s aren’t. And since you can upgrade them they tend to be faster (compared to my skyrim exp on the pc, xbox version is dead slow) 3. pc’s have a wide range of games available to play, console’s not so much. 4. Most games are made on pc’s, originally for pc’s, then get converted to console’s. Like if you agree.
Is there a way (either already implemented in the game or through mods) to hotkey spells to go directly to your right hand? I’ve just started a magelike character who’s using spells and shield and double equiping a spell then equping the shield (in order to get the spell to the right hand) is starting to get very tedious
i had same problem. google “skyrim update torrent” and use one of those. i also have razor1911 version of skyrim and used the RELOADED update for it and worked fine. the update fixed a lot of bugs and made the game a lot better! also, go to skyrim nexus website and look for unofficial bug fixes from community developers you can download and use. (site is all about skyrim mods and has tons of other cool mods that work with the razor1911/RELOADED combo)
Can anyone tell me why I can’t favourite anything? I’m on the PC and I press F and nothing happens at all, so I went to the help section in the menu and it said to press T, but that only charges weapons! I’m so confused, do I have some kind of glitch, I googled it and couldn’t find anything related to my problem. 🙁 It’s so frustrating!!
Does anyone else have the same fucking problem on PC when ti comes o selecting spells/weapons where if you have the right hand (R) on for example, ice and you have the left hand (L) on fire and you want to take the (L) off of fire, but you can’t? You can only add the other hand (R) to fire, it won’t let you take your left hand off of fire.
I be like. “Ohh a dragon let me kill it” i’m running to the dragon with my sword. dragon almost kills me i run away use 1345 hours to find my bow when finished im dead by a zombie plague in real life. now i be like “Ohh a dragon let me kill it” i’m running to it with my sword, gets knocked the f*ck out at dont even get to the part were i just hit 2 to get my bow.☺☺☺☺ Thanks for improving my game. (even tho i use 2 secs to find the number and gets killed before i find it).
Consoles are casual machines. Just launch the game and play with a controller and pick some friends. PC has more power, quality (graphics-wise), more games and programs that help the gaming f.ex – voice communicating softwares or recorders. Imo, since most consol gamers use PC for other things anyway, they could just use one machine and stick to the PC, since it just outperforms a console in any given way.
