How To Get The Hogwarts Legacy’S Forbidden Spells?

In Hogwarts Legacy, players can learn three unforgivable curses, Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra, which are powerful spells used mainly for malicious intentions. These curses are not learned through main quests or professor assignments, but through Sebastian Sallow’s series of quests.

The Unforgivable Curses, Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra, are the epitome of the Dark Arts in Hogwarts Legacy. They cause immense pain to someone and can be unlocked by engaging with Sallow, a Slytherin student. To access these curses, players must engage with Sallow, who is one of the main Hogwarts students.

To embark on quests related to the Unforgivable Curses, players must engage with Slytherin classmate Sebastian Sallow. Each Unforgivable Curse is earned through Sallow’s chain of side missions, with the Crucio Curse unlocked by completing the “In” quest. These dark art spells become available later in the game and players must complete several quests to add them to their magic arsenal.

In summary, the Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy are powerful spells that can greatly aid in battle. Players can learn these curses through various quests, such as the “Shadow of the Relic” quest, to enhance their magic arsenal.

What spell beat Voldemort?

Expelliarmus, or the Disarming Charm, is a spell that drives out a weapon, often a wand, and is often seen in duels. Professor Snape, a former follower of Voldemort, taught Harry the spell during Professor Lockhart’s Duelling Club. Within months of learning it, Harry used it to retrieve Riddle’s diary from Malfoy and disarm Lockhart. He spent the final hours of the second year practicing Expelliarmus, becoming very good in the process. This relationship between Harry and Expelliarmus has both positive and negative aspects.

  • All are MISSABLE! – Avada Kedavra obtainable during Sebastian’s Side Questline, in Side Quest: In the Shadow of the Relic. Must pick the dialogues “Everyone should know about that curse” and then “Yes, please”. Crucio obtainable during Sebastian’s Side Questline, in Side Quest: In the Shadow of the Study. Must pick the correct dialogues during this quest (that’s why it’s missable), when given the chance choose to learn the Unforgivable Curse Crucio. Imperio obtainable during Sebastian’s Side Questline, in Side Quest: In the Shadow of Time. Must pick the correct dialogues during this quest (that’s why it’s missable), when given the chance choose to learn the Unforgivable Curse Imperio. P.S. Now with the update all cursed spell If you missed this, it can still be learned after completing Sebastian Sallow’s full relationship questline by talking to him in the Undercroft.

  • I see they nerfed the curses, especially Imperio, from how it is in the books… But to be fair, that makes sense. I’ve always thought Imperio was by far the most broken of the curses, especially after learning about how Avada Kedavra actually works. As Snape described it when he first taught it, if all the children in the room were to try to use it on him at once, it would hardly do more than give him a bloody nose. That means that Avada Kedavra isn’t so much a killing spell as it is concentrating and directing energy into someone or something with the intent to hurt and deprive them of life, which as an adult usually does contain enough force to kill someone. So in theory there are creatures out there strong enough that they wouldn’t be hurt or killed by that curse. Meanwhile Imperio is straight up mind control… Makes sense that they’d nerf that one too; only one target at a time, and strong targets can resist with enough willpower. I have a question though for the game — do you have to be Slytherin to unlock the Dark Arts & other curses? Or can you belong to any House? Personally, I think that Ravenclaw suits my personality better than Slytherin. It would actually be in the nature of Ravenclaw to want to be able to know and use such Curses and employ the Dark Arts in addition to the normal arts, for the sake of a better understanding of magic and expanding knowledge anyway, I would think. Plus, Slytherin shouldn’t get to have a monopoly over evil or using the dark arts anyways, and Slytherin house isn’t even about that anyway necessarily, just being ambitious and eager for power.

  • In the Harry Potter and the other movies like The fantastic beasts I believe that’s the movie’s name I’ve only seen him once in a movie theater though😂. I understand what the unforgivable curses do but the question is in Hogwarts the dark arts class why can’t they teach us they unforgivable curses and therefore learn about them and use them. I mean for crying out loud the evil villains use them on a regular basis. It’s how the person use them that is unforgivable but if you use them in the righteous way they shouldn’t be unforgivable right 😅. Anyways let me know when you guys think I’m curious and I like some more detail about it after all I am a big fan of Harry Potter and the other movies that they brought out.😂🎉

  • If possible, please pin this comment! For anyone wondering if you can get the unforgiveable curses if you picked the wrong option, the answer is yes! You must first complete Sebastian Sallows questline, and then wait for his owl when he tells you to meet him in the undercroft. Here he should talk to you about anne, his uncle and “turning him in” after you have spoken to both Sebastian and Ominis, head out of the undercroft and then re enter. Sebastian should be there, talk to him, and he should teach you the spells. I’m not sure whether this can be done at any other point, but this is when I did it after picking the wrong opinion for avada kedavra. I hope this helps!

  • That depends if there is a new game plus like in demon’s souls, dark souls and elden ring then yes I’ll try to get the killing cure to Speedrun the NG+. I haven’t played it yet waiting for the official release date I have it pre ordered. I’m aware it already out but not everyone has a ps5 or PC. I have a ps4 and Nintendo switch so I have to wait until April and July. My PC is old and I’m not spending 3k on the new PC.
