How To Insert Hearts Into The Amulet Of Hearts?

The Baubley Heart Canisters mod is a new addition to Tinkers’ Construct heart canisters, reimagining them into Baubles or Curios. It includes red hearts from hostile mobs, yellow hearts from boss mobs (wither), green hearts from the Ender Dragon, and blue hearts from Evoker. The Heart Amulet is an item added by this mod that can be worn in the Amulet Baubles slot and holds 10 Heart Canisters of each type.

The mod allows players to max out hearts in all 9 mods, including Apotheosis, Mytical Agriculture, Baubley Heart Canisters, and Artifacts. It also allows for the creation of soul amulets from the same mod that store 5 colors, for a total of 50 hearts and 10 free hearts.

To reproduce the Heart Amulet, players must obtain one heart canister (any color) and open the heart amulet screen by sneak + right-clicking while holding it. Place the heart canister inside the amulet and close the amulet screen. The Heart Necklace accessory shares the effects of acquired hearts with all party members near the player.

The Heart Amulet is an accessory item for the player’s amulet slot, and accessories do not belong to any set, thus it does not receive any set bonuses. To create a soul amulet with 10 each of the 5 colors of heart canisters, equip the amulet in its curio slot and set its health to 100 instead of 120.

  • Those who are struggling, it is probably because you can’t really just tug the ends to tighten it up once you’re done. It will tend to tighten in places and go loose in others. You have to kind of tighten by sections to get the right shape. I just did itty bitty ones to tie round homemade candles. Very nice!

  • I make silver jewelry with my dad and I am working on tying this knot out of some silver wire. finding a balance of thickness and flexibility is proving to be somewhat of a challenge. I have to heat up the wire and tie it as fast as possible while it remains flexible, but without burning my hands. THanks for the article it helps a lot…

  • Very clear .. follow the finger placements exactly. And use thick cord for maximum effect. I used wool first to practise then thick silver cord, the kind used for piping garments and it looks amazing. I finished it off at the top with wire and i also wove tiny crystal beads into it. Thanks so much for sharing your skills!

  • Took two tries with a 16″ x 3/8″ rope to get right. Helps to stop article in places to compare and go slow. At the end you have to stop the article and compare what you have made to the knot on the screen, take your time and study it. A little loosening and tightening are needed to shape the knot and you should have it. If anyone thinks this knot is hard, try fishing knots with 4lb mono.

  • The reason Your strings aren’t becoming Celtic hearts is most likely String placement, not the type of string. Make sure your string looks exactly like it does at 1:15. Notice which string stays to the right side. Because it sometimes swaps the string in the heart backwards, which gives you just a knot.

  • Hi I’ve been learning alot from these articles thank you so much jd of tiat. I got into knot end of 2013 by chance. I love the celtic knots you don’t see the celtic art and designs here in Ireland much anymore which is sad.modern living. not many want to learn the ol craft so thanx for keeping the art alive .Tony

  • can u people stop calling him names and complaining about the article? knots r not easy and u have to work to get them right, don’t come here and bitch about the article because it is very clear,u can see how he does it, I understand the frustration but don’t get mad at the man, just try to improve ur knot skills, or just give up, ur choice

  • You would be a great teacher if you would take out the music and explain each step at a time. But as is, it is really hard to know what to do to make it look like a heart after all the tying is done. Other than that I guess I have to say thank you for posting what you did. But it is REALLY frustrating to try this with out proper instructions.

  • Wish I could add pic. Made this on the first try. Excellent instructions! Thank you! Only problem is that, at the moment, all I have to work with is thin hemp cord! LOL. I want to purchase the same cord you used for this. Please tell me the type (looks like braided cotton or poly – waxed?) and mm thickness (2mm, maybe 3mm?). Or is it 450 Paracord? Would be very helpful. Thanks!

  • Suggestion for “TyingItAllTogether”, like one of the comments below; talk through the instructions while you show them. Also show in more detail the tightening process, since that is a step that is easy to screw up (and where i think most people screwed up) and not very well shown in the article. Other than that I thought it was cool and made one into a necklace, it just took me a while to tighten it so it held its shape.

  • Art does not have to have meaning, it just has to be. I know this is a heart, but considering this knot as a knot, usually it does something. Stringing people or horses or boats to a tree. Tying ropes together. Holding the hammock. Keeping packages together. “Brown paper packages, tied up with strings…”
