Destruction spells in Skyrim can only be increased with consumable potions, specific Dragon Priest Masks from the Dragonborn DLC (Ahzidal, Dukaan, and Zahkriisos), or by slotting perk points into the Destruction skill tree. The base cost for spells is the amount of magicka that would be necessary to cast the spell at 0 skill without any perks. There are only two ways to improve spell damage: get a better spell, get Augmented Element Destruction Magic Perks, or indirectly, you can improve your spell. If you don’t use free destruction spells, you should work out a way to rapidly fill your magicka (such as the Equilibrium spells, magicka potions) or more mundane ways to fill.
There are no enchantments for making Destruction spells cost less Magicka, but none for making them cause more damage. Destruction spells use elements (fire, frost, or shock) to damage health, and an enemy’s magicka and stamina can also be reduced. Master destruction spells are a good and fast way to level up again after getting the Destruction skill promoted to Legendary, granting an increase from 2 to 3 levels per spell. Improved Expert Spells.esp increases the base damage of the following expert spells so they scale nicer at mid-to-high tier compared to other damage builds.
There are two main types of books that aspiring masters of Destruction magic should keep their eyes out for: skill books and spell tomes. Skill books give the Dragonborn a level up in various ranks, while spell tomes reduce the mana cost of Destruction spells of the same rank by half. Leveling Destruction, taking appropriate perks, and using potions to increase damage caused by Destruction spells are essential for success.
