This 10 minute guided morning meditation is a powerful tool for restoring energy flow and promoting emotional balance. The heart chakra, which governs emotions like love, compassion, and connection, is a vital energy center that can be accessed through various meditation methods. The meditation involves moving down through the throat, thymus, and into the heart, focusing on the center of the chest. This practice helps to release emotional blockages and bring harmony to this vital energy center.
The Shambhala Heart Chakra Meditation is a powerful tool that can heal, balance, and open the heart chakra. By focusing on the heart chakra, one can connect to objectless and connect with the divine. To begin, close the eyes, take deep breaths, and inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Allow your breath to become slower and deeper, and feel your chest expand and contract with each inhale and exhale.
To begin, sit in a comfortable position with the spine straight, shoulders relaxed, and the chest open. Inhale the palms and repeat the mantra. Hold the breath, pull the shoulder blades back, and focus on the heart center. This deeply personal practice can help individuals feel closer, lonely, or broken-hearted.
In conclusion, heart chakra meditation is a powerful tool for promoting emotional balance and promoting emotional health. By practicing this meditation, individuals can experience a deeper connection to their emotions and a more balanced life.

I had a hard time connecting the green color with my heart until I thought about being on a trail looking up at the sun filtered through bright living green leaves. Then I felt it. Then I got it. This was probably the most soothing, releasing, powerful guided meditation I’ve ever done. As soon as she said to let that green light into your heart I started crying and didn’t stop even after the article ended. It felt like the playful, accepting, comforting energy of my dearly beloved departed rabbit companion Alice. She would lick me when I cried- before she died I was on the brink of the abyss, she helped keep me alive. I will never forget her. It was like thawing my ice cold heart…I didn’t even realize my heart was in so much pain. Thank you so much for this. Truly.
“”We are all connected. We are one collective field of energy. When an event or someone inflicts harm on others, it can effect everybody in this world. Everything in this world. Harmful events rip through the fabric that we all share as a collective energy source.” I love this. Thank you. At like 5.12 or before.
Tears… So much to do with my heart chakra. To overcome the fear of loving and be hurt. It is deep inside of me and I want to get rid of that fear. That you can never own a person or a thing and that loving does not mean being vulnerable but learning that when you love, you do not lose but gain strenght. And that love is meaning of life. To live in such a way that I love myself and life as such, regardless of what I get back. And that you can love forever, love is mine, in my heart, not in another person… Great meditation, music, voice … thank you
Thank you Sara, this is a perfect meditation for the times we are in right now. I’ve got coaching clients who are feeling confused emotions, worry, compassion and guilt, over the war, Covid, flood victims. I recommended this meditation to them and they’ve each been able to see the light of day and move forward with small steps towards what they can do today. Your library of meditations always deliver what feels right for right now. Thank you 🙏❤️
During this meditation, at first I was stressed, because I’ve been anxious today in general, then I had trouble visualizing green. However, I just let it be and I let my mind bring up images of people on its own – even though I couldn’t exactly see them, I felt like I am with a person that’s very dear to me, I felt their presence. I sobbed. Then I sobbed more when I started meditating about those other people and wishing them all the best, even though this thought brought up some anger inside me about a person that I was mad at before today. And then I felt as if I were in a womb again – it was dark, and a bit scary, but at the same time very pleasant and I felt like I was just being hugged and safe. Then things became white and as I was nearning the meditation, I felt like I am happy to be able to hear and see things and I’m grateful for that. I’m gonna go hug my friend now, lol. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Meditation changes things. It appears that the whole world needs a “change of heart”… “We need a change of heart, a reframing of all our conceptions and a new orientation of our activities. The inward life of man as well as his outward environment have to be reshaped if human salvation is to be secured.” ~ Baha’i Faith
“when you live in love you cannot live in hate you are aware of your thoughts and have the ability to change from a negative thought to a positive thought just by being aware all it takes is a thought to make a change, you change your life the moment you decide to change. you choose to live life how you choose to live life. you are not the sum of your circumstances you are the sum of your choices so choose to live in alignment with what is truly important to you.” so beautifully said, I love it. ☮️
I choose to live life with love, I choose to say my friends and family that I love them, compliment strangers, hug nature, and most important of all loving myself fully as I am, I choose to smile, I choose to wake up and make my difference, I choose to grow and be successful, I choose to be connected completely to immense love.
Thankyou Sara for this wonderful meditation – I especially liked to hear you say “we are a product of our choices, not a product of our circumstances”. It made a lot of sense to me and reminded me of what Dr King Jr had said about the antidote to hate and our personal opportunity to respond with love to that. We can all benefit from self-directed compassion and know many people worldwide who crave it also. Offering this to them is like lighting their candle – it doesn’t mean ours go out! Easier said than done sometimes – the volume of hatred seems to have been ratcheted up, but there is support available – if not through our own families, then through the forest of meditations offered online. This is a choice we cannot afford not to make; we all need to be in touch with our Higher Selves and we need each other. Thanks again Sara for providing a way to put that (choice) in action. Bless your day. Hugs.
Thank you for this meditation practice. It was difficult to steady my mind into the green light/colour but it eventually came. There were many emotions felt. Your words ring true and fitting for me right now in my life. Like many others commenting here, I too will practice this regularly to benefit from it and extend those benefits on to the people in my life. Namaste ❤️
Thank you so much for the beautiful meditation! This was well needed, I feel full of love, joy, happiness and energy. My heart chakra was vibrating along with third eye pressure, I felt tingles all around and pure love when you said to smile. I’m so grateful for this gem! Sending love, positivity, abundance and unity to all! Namaste 🙏❤️

This meditation is what I was looking for. I used to be so open and live with an open heart I managed to shut it so badly that my mind took control. So, do you recommend to doing this meditation everyday in orsmder to reconnect my mind with my heart…I really wanna be able to feel all the love that is there within me …what else can you recommend? ❤🙏
Hello 👋 you have a wonderful, gentle and nurturing voice ❤ from one meditation teacher to another it was absolutely beautiful and just what I needed today, thankyou ❤ so very grateful 🙏 as a thankyou if yoga speaks to you please check out some of my articles online I focus more on the yoga side of my practice Namaste Nicola Yoga 😊 I will be doing this meditation again for sure xxx grateful 🙏 for you
I had the craziest experience during this, twice in a row now, I’m all brand new to meditating but during this when I was relaxing my body I had this pressure build up in my chest and my fingers were tingling like crazy, and I actually kind of felt like I was vibrating a little. I was told I was twitching all over. If someone could please shed some light on what that was about I’d appreciate it thank you
I was a little thrown off by some of the language used: pride, guilt, etc… I was distracted by this. Something I can work on for myself, letting go of the attachments to words. I guess I’m looking for something simpler with more space to feel the energy in the present moment. This felt like a transcendental meditation in the sense of descriptions, phrases, and images that were provided. I hope these comments help, and Thank You for sharing!
Not a fan of guided meditation tbh, I find myself feeling the contrary of what I’m supposed to feel, not a fan of the mouth sounds either, I was closer before the article. I did it once with this article and it helped a lot, I actually cried but now it’s like the 2-3th time that I’m coming back and I can’t last the whole thing, I feel rage growing inside of me
What happens to your heart charkra when people have been stomping on your heart all your life and it broken knto a thpussnd peices and people refuse to say anything nice to you? Who can you love your srlf when people constanta ntly put you down and never say anything nice? You can say to yourself what ever words you want but its impossible to believe them because it goes against all your programming.
This was the most wonderful meditation. I too had tears at times, but I felt an amazing calmness at the end. I am so grateful for this website. I have been perusal for about a year and your mediations, yoga practice and mindful tips have been instrumental in helping me on my journey to be more mindful and a great addition to my self care practice. Thank you!
Thank you for this, felt good! Although the meditation was great at some parts, the rest seemed more of a speech with too many words and the tone felt quite rushed along with the loud music in the end making it a bit chaotic. If it can be slowed down a bit with some space in between with no words it’ll be great. Thanks again!
Your meditations make my daily life and my journey of healing possible – I’m in recovery from addiction, and still struggling though, do you have, or do you think you could create a guided meditation on healing from addiction and compulsive behavior? I know you have one on bad habits but a more specific one would be so helpful thankyou
I woke from my deep meditation when i heard the lady say we are all guilty of…. My inner being differs. My inner being believes that that is her wound, many others have it as well…. ive had it. I am innocent. I wish to do my meditations speaking into my innocence. Thank you for your work here. Blessings.
It’s okay if people are afraid to love me. I still love them. I still love me too, even when others aren’t able to reflect that love back to me. It is anchored within me. That doesn’t change. I always love me, and I am always my own best friend. It’s safe for me to live in integration, and wholeness, it is safe to live in love. Nothing can harm me, when I live in my truth. I am not afraid to live in my ultimate truth.
I dislike these so called positive messages. “Choose to live an authentic life” what the hell does that mean? How do you actually choose? Is like other articles say “open your mind” o.k. and how do you do that actually? “Choose to be brave”….so you are not going to run when a lion is running after you and you are going to stand there and fight? I don’t think so.
