You don’t need to buy his spells apparently, I just did it without. I bought 1 puppet, went to another location to use it once, went back and bought another puppet, got the amber starlight shard and I got the charm. after giving it to him. I never even tried it without buying his spells cause everyone says you have to lol
Thanks for the guide! I never thought obtaining a talisman would’ve been harder than most boss fights! In my case, firstly most of the characters were missing in their place as I have progressed their quest without talking to them, couldn’t find Renna’s 3 ghost due to bug, Seluvis didn’t sell me both puppets even though I had 5 starlight shards, reloading eventually fixed it though… Overall, 2 hours well spent. 😂😂😂
So.. I recently got the Dung Eater Puppet before asking about his scheme. I almost thought I didn’t get the chance to get the scorpion charm because it wouldn’t progress through his dialogue. Tried everything.. Turns out, if you summon Dung Eater in front of him then talk to him, it’ll open up his “Scheme” dialogue.. It might not have to be in front of him, that’s just what I did.
I wouldn’t recommend giving the potion to the neph, can save it and turn dung eater into a puppet if you give it to him and I believe you also can use it on another NPC I’m not 100% sure if that will mess up and getting the scorpion charm meaning I’m not sure if you actually have to give it to somebody or Gideon even my first play through I missed the scorpion charm because I thought once he was dead he was dead but apparently you can do his part of the quest get the scorpion charm go to the church a vowel relinquish your sins and it should reset Ronnie’s quest line so you won’t get locked out of Ronnie’s quest line if you don’t give her the finger slayer before talking to selivus
i think can help: The exact steps to be able to buy the second puppet are as follows: Give Seluvis’s potion to Gideon Ofnir. Acquire 3 Starlight Shards if you got the Finger Maiden Therolina Puppet the first time, or 2 Starlight Shards if you got the Jarwight Puppet the first time. Reload the area once, talk to Seluvis(he will repeat his last dialogue), reload the area again and he will give you the option to buy the second puppet. None of his sorceries are required to unlock the second puppet option. Tested and it worked =)
