How To Ping A League Of Allies?

In League of Legends (LoL), there are various ping options available for different parts of the match. Pinging is a replacement for chatting and can be used to inform teammates about missing champions or to request assistance in certain situations. Smart pings are useful for tracking enemy and ally abilities and champions, with the essentials of a smart ping and the rules on how to use them effectively.

For instance, if a teammate clicks on an enemy Veigar, they can ping their AP via their target box in the top left. The only enemy ability you can ping is R (and summoners). To open the scoreboard, press O or hold tab and alt-click the lil orb at the bottom left of their champion picture for their ping.

To cast spells on yourself or your allies, press the F1-F5 keys (allies) and click the spell. F1-F5 keys can now be used to cast spells on yourself or your allies. To ping cooldowns, press the G key to open up the ping wheel, drag your cursor to the right, and release the G key. To ping a player, press ‘G’ or ‘V’ and click on the champion you want to ping.

Caution ping is also available, using V or Alt and left-clicking on enemy champions or enemy structures. F1-F5 keys can now be used to cast spells on yourself or your allies. However, it is important not to ping directly on top of allies, as it will come in handy later in the game.
