As a low-level mystic, you can choose between slow casting spells or slow reuse combat arts. A good choice is to use slow reuse combat arts, but get a lot of them to make up for their long reuse. Mystics can take on the form of a bear, increasing wisdom, spell resistance, and maximum health. They also gain the ability to see stealthed creatures.
Mystics seek a symbiotic connection with their ancestors’ spirits, petitioning them to bestow power to heal the injured, invigorate the weak, and enhance their capabilities. To become a mystic, you must be a citizen of Qeynos. Mystical Magic Mystics are the good version of EverQuest II’s shaman, excelling in wards and debuffs.
To convert your spells into combat arts, go AGI line, then Weapon Mastery, and finally scoop litany of combat. The Mystic tree has several AAs that can be used to enhance your character’s raiding-quality.
Levels 1 to 9 offer various benefits, such as Rejuvenation, which instantly heals some of the target ally’s health and increases their maximum health for a short duration. For more engagement and opportunities to maximize your class potential, play a Mystic or Fury/Warden.
Applying a powerful ward for a short duration prevents damage to target ally until the ward has absorbed its maximum amount of damage.

Does EverQuest 2 have mercenaries?
The game introduces two types of mercenaries: Original Mercenaries (Original) and Elite Mercenaries (Elite). Original mercenaries are easy-to-hire and can be hired by players of the opposite alignment. They can be found in different cities, such as Freeport or Freeport, and can be rehired in the Rogues Gallery. Elite mercenaries are more expensive and powerful than ordinary mercenaries, costing 50g upkeep every 30 minutes at level 90-95. They spawn randomly in their “home” zone, and re-hiring them requires finding them.
If someone else has hired them recently, they will not be hireable until they re-spawn. If you dismiss an elite mercenary, you must hunt it down again to re-hire it. Reported locations for these mercenaries can be found on their individual pages and on EQ2maps.
What is the best class in EverQuest 2?
In EverQuest 2, the concept of a “best class” is not applicable, as each class is capable of performing differently and fulfilling a distinct role. What is the strongest pet class in EverQuest?
Mages have the strongest pets at every tier, with Necro pets at 49 and 59 being particularly impressive. However, they are almost nothing without their pets, as they cannot control targets while nuking them. If the pet dies, the mage cannot root, snare, mez, slow, feign death, self heal, gating, or resummon. Despite this, mages are the easiest to solo with, as it’s mainly brute force of the beefy pet tanking alongside you.
The author tends to lean towards either BL or Necro, and then beef up their pets to bridge the gap in pet strength between them and Mage pets. Necro and BL have utility and self-survivability, as they can do almost anything in this game, but mostly in a selfish version. They can succor themselves but not a group, tap heal themselves but not heal the group, and feign death to save themselves when everyone else is dying.
Mages are more enjoyable when boxing, as they are easier to be effective with as a box compared to other classes that require more focus. Boxed mages may not be as good as main-playing mages, but they can reach 80-90 of the raw damage potential at least.
