Invoker, a Dota 2 hero with 10 skills, is an intelligence hero with a vast combination of abilities. To invoke a spell, one must combine Invoker’s three elements: Quas, Wex, and Exort. For instance, Sun Strike can be invoked by pressing Exort (E) three times, while Deafening Blast can be invoked by pressing Q Q Q R D. The main combos for each type of invoker depend on the user’s device.
To combo with Invoker, Tornado can be a great setup for spells like Sun Strike, Chaos Meteor, EMP, and Ice Wall. To combo it with Sun Strike directly, it is necessary to be able to change drop. Invoker’s signature ability, Invoke, allows him to combine elements to cast various spells. Mastery over these combinations is key to unlocking Invoker’s full potential.
When combining multiple spells in one setup, keep track of your Invoke cooldown as it determines how many spells can be included in a combo. Invoker’s signature ability, Invoke, allows him to combine elements to cast a variety of spells. Mastery over these combinations is key to unlocking Invoker’s full potential.
Invoker is a spell caster, not a DPS, and most of his spells have a long range. Position yourself adequately in a team fight to maximize Invoker’s power.

Tobi, please talk about how items boost your stats, affect your auto attacks, affect your attack abilities. Talk about how some items are only good for range, good for melee, and good all around. Talk about whether it is unwise to not follow the suggested items and why some players get ridicule for using certain items from the store. I’ve been experimenting with Phantom Lancer and skipping the suggested items but later on finding that sticking to it was best after all.
Two things… A. When that 18 tango invoker was attacking the tower at level 2, he skilled wex second, but though he was at full health, he didn’t turn on wex stacks for the extra attack speed… that should have been your first clue about that guys skill level. B. Hilarious invoker build: Phase boots, drum, force staff, scepter, sheepstick, refresher. (You can replace the drum later with something like a BKB). SO much control… and so much button mashing.
Tobi, you need to review replays before recording your shows, but yeah I like the concept, better than randoming a hero you have no idea about and trying to read all 4 tool tips while you forced solo mid even after telling your team its your first time with the hero, then to have them blame the entire game on you going badly in mid. Fuck this game is brutal sometimes…
