To replace batteries in your Magic Mouse, follow these steps:
- Flip the mouse over to access the bottom panel. There should be a small switch at the bottom of the panel that needs to be slid to unlock the battery compartment.
- Once unlocked, remove both AA batteries and set them aside.
- Place the mouse in the oven and heat it up to 50 degrees Celsius to remove the battery without damaging the housing.
- Use adhesive strips located on the left and right sides of the mouse.
- Push the small tab to open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse.
- Remove the old batteries and insert new AA batteries.
- Turn the mouse upside down and remove the battery compartment cover.

- Hold down the cover release tab and wedge a firm object into the space between the mouse’s body and the cover.
