How To Use Chakras To Treat My Thyroid?

The thyroid, a vital organ in the body, plays a significant role in regulating the body’s energy levels. It is associated with the Vishuddhi chakra, which is linked to the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Meditation and awareness of this chakra can help heal issues and diseases related to the thyroid.

The throat chakra, also known as the Vishuddha chakra, is associated with the neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. To balance the throat chakra, one can practice meditation, such as dropping the chin toward the chest and lifting it, or keeping the chin level and turning the head side to side.

An imbalance in the throat chakra can lead to physical, mental, or emotional ailments. To unblock these chakras, one can practice yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and other techniques. Some yoga poses, like inversions, are best for healing the throat chakra by releasing tension and bringing energy to the area.

Healing therapies like Tibetan singing, crystal bowls, or sound baths can also resonate with the throat chakra, helping to release tension and bring energy to the area. There are various ways to magically heal the throat chakra or Vishudh Chakra.

In summary, the thyroid plays a crucial role in regulating the body’s energy levels. By practicing meditation, engaging in yoga asanas, and exploring healing therapies, individuals can improve their thyroid health and overall well-being.

Which meditation is best for thyroid?

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing on a specific object or technique to achieve a sense of calm. It can be deep breathing, mantras, guided meditations, or visualizations. The object of focus is usually the breath, body, or a candle flame. Focusing the mind during meditation helps build stress tolerance and resilience. Although it can be uncomfortable, the more practiced, the more resilient one can be to face other physical or emotional discomforts.

Meditation also encourages compassionate acceptance towards oneself, as the mind may wander during meditation. This involves acknowledging and letting go of thoughts that surface, allowing the mind to regain focus without judgment.

How do you awaken your thyroid?

Hydrotherapy, a lifestyle hack, can help improve the function of the thyroid, which is a significant problem in 12 of U. S. adults. By ending showers with cold water aimed at the thyroid for about 30 seconds, blood flow to the area can be improved, delivering more nutrients for proper thyroid function. The thyroid acts as the body’s thermostat, increasing body temperature by stimulating metabolism. Taking your temperature upon waking can help track thyroid function. Hydrotherapy also stimulates the body’s metabolism, making it self-heat itself.

A daily mindful thyroid massage can also increase blood flow and function, with the addition of Jamaican black castor oil to improve blood flow. These lifestyle changes can help improve the overall health of the thyroid and help prevent the development of thyroid issues.

Which planet is responsible for thyroid?

Astrology is an ancient practice that helps people understand their health, personalities, and make predictions about the future. It is essential to focus on our health to live a happy, fit, and prosperous life. Health issues can disrupt the entire cycle of life, and in today’s competitive world, it is crucial to prioritize our health.

The 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 12th houses play a major role in indicating health issues. If any of these houses are influenced by malefic planets, an individual will face related medical problems. The 6th house denotes sickness, 8th house surgery, death, and 12th house hospitalization. If the sub-lord of the 12th cusp is in the constellation of the planet occupying or owning 6 or 8, or 12, it is definite that one will have the defect from the time when the significators conjointly operate.

Mercury Mercury represents the nervous system, skin, face, and thyroid, with direct influence over mental disorders and ear problems. Jupiter represents the liver, kidneys, and pancreas, with effects such as excessive fat gain, fatty liver, heart tumor, and memory loss. Venus impacts the throat, throat glands, face, cheeks, urine problems, ovarian cysts, and impotency. Saturn represents legs, bones, muscle, teeth, hair, physical weakness, joint pain, arthritis, gastric problems, and Rahu may cause cancer, breathing problems, ulcers, cataracts, stammering problems, and mysterious diseases.

In Vedic astrology, planets and birth signs are closely related to human chakras and organs. Planets and a horoscope help identify Chakra energy, physical, mental, emotional strength, and diseases in the human body. Chakras indicate qualities of a person through ruling planets, and if a planet is weak, the associated chakra will also be weak. This method is called “AstakaVarga” in Vedic Astrology.

What is the powerful mantra for thyroid healing?

Om chanting is a practice that helps balance the thyroid hormone, a vital component of the body’s endocrine system. According to the yogic principle, diseases are caused by disturbances in the homeostatic balance between the body and mind, which can be influenced by internal and external factors. When the mind loses balance due to internal stimuli, it affects the central nervous system and hypothalamic and pituitary glands, affecting the release of the proper amount of TSH, which controls the thyroid gland. This can lead to hypothyroidism.

Vibrations from chanting mantras help the endocrine systems release the necessary hormones to regulate daily metabolism. According to the Mandukya Upanishad, the vibration of the Akshara-barman sound “OM” can discharge mental stress, anxiety, and depression, enhancing calmness and intelligence. Chanting “Ooooo Mmmm” sounds causes vibrations in the chest, sternum, and throat, providing a healthy massage effect on the thyroid gland.

To practice Om chanting, one should sit comfortably in a calm, pollution-free place, breathe in and fill the abdomen, chest, and throat with oxygen. Use about 70% of the inhaled oxygen for the “O” sound, and the remaining oxygen for the “M” sound. After chanting the “M” sound, ensure the abdomen, chest, and throat are empty.

Practicing Om chanting three times a day, especially on an empty stomach, helps maintain the homeostatic balance between the body and mind and maintain a healthy endocrine system.

  • I have been in tears and I got to watch this.Slow in work is now undoubtedly an outcome of imbalanced hormone levels.Unfortunately I feel bad when everyone around me judges me for the lethargy, lack of interset in anything. They literally shout at me ;raised voice increases my stress(unless on an earphone). I felt way toooo good about myself, atleast for a few seconds.Thankful to her manners❤️❤️

  • 🎉 Dear doctor, I just discovered your website. 6 years ago I was diagnosed with hashimoto. Far from helping me, levothyroxine raised my blood pressure and caused anxiety…The effect of the levothyroxine in my body it is terrible. I only had the levothyroxine for one month,,, I will like to know if there is another alternative medicine to treat me. Thank you

  • Thankyou doctor. This article is useful and positive. I have hypothyroid and I have started with Homeopathy medicine after 14 long years of allopathy treatment. I will inculate the lifestyle changes as much as possible. I have one query regarding inhale and exhale timings while performing all Aasanas . Please guide or suggest any article of yours which explains breathing techniques during yoga.

  • Hello everyone.. let me share my experience with thyroid. I used to have TSH of 21 etc and took thyroxin for 6 months and then stopped it. Now, after 2 and half years, my thyroid is normal. 2 big changes I made was 1) I switched from iodised salt to non iodised Himalayan pink salt and 2) I started drinking unboiled well water. Also, I feel less tension nowadays which may also have helped. Please try this method.. it doesn’t cost anything. Also, enforce daily yoga for your kids to keep them off all diseases.

  • I have some questions since i love sweet potatoes and you showed the one that is white on the inside… is the orange one ok to eat?😳 Another lady recommends eating berries in combo with a tomato.. do you know what the connection between these 2 could be? And bananas in what stage can we eat them if at all? One person says not at all another says when the are green.. 🥴

  • Hypothyroidism: if I eat often or like four times a day as you suggest, causes intense inflammation. I don’t medicate and I rely on organic raw foods that usually really work well for me especially cruciferous that help balance out my hormones. The less cruciferous I eat the more I suffer. Go figure completely the opposite of what you’re saying. Different bodies different needs.

  • Nothing is “simple” about treating thyroid disease. There is also Hashimoto’s which is an autoimmune condition. There is also Grave’s which is extreme hyperthyroidism. Thyroid is secondary to adrenal fatigue. Stress is the main problem. Stress causes an increase in Reverse T3. Hans Selye, Diseases of Adaption.

  • Thank you Dr. Hansaji for always explaining things so nicely. I also have thyroid and I’ve consulted Ginihealth for treatment. Thankfully, I’m much better now. I believe that some of the credit also goes to people like you who are doing their best to make people aware of such health issues so that they can understand their health better.

  • Dr. Sahiba, your all articles are very informative. I don’t miss your articles. This article was more important for me because my thyroid has been removed due to cancer. I have been taking levothyroxine 150mcg as a thyroid replacement for over 10 years. I have been diagnosed with pre-diabetic recently. I don’t want to take medication, therefore, I did research on home remedies and herbal medications to control diabetes. I found fenugreek seeds very effective as many studies shows. Since fenugreek is also an effective remedy for hormonal balance and also increases estrogen, as Lveothroxine does. Will fenugreek seeds cause any side effects if I take one spoon of fenugreek seed in the morning daily with Levothyroxine 150mcg? Please advise me. Thank you

  • Hello Dr Hansaji. Hope this finds you safe and well. I have been perusal your articles and they are all very inspirational…thank you for sharing your knowledge with those who have benifited from it:). On this particular one with the Thyroid issue you have explained very well on what Hypothyroid is and what to do to over come it….But have you a article on Hyperthyroid (Overactive) please. I would be very interested in listening to your thoughts. Have a good day. Thank you:).

  • I have acute thyroiditis. I got cancer half a centimeter on the left thyroid. My doctor removed it. I now have only my right thyroid and a small portion of my left thyroid. I am 31 years old. If I can cure this acute thyroiditis will I be able to deliver healthy baby? I am on medication, but I am afraid it will affect my future pregnancy. What is more risk for the future baby a manufactured drug or a mom with an uncomplete thyroid.

  • Just because someone is ayurvedic practitioner, old and soft spoken doesn’t give them wisdom Beware ⚠️ if your TSH is greater than 10 (hypothyroidism)you will need thyroxine for treatment. Parallely you can do whatever yoga, diet change, homeopathy, ayurvedic treatment. But you will need thyroxine Reason: my TSH JUMPED FROM 25 TO 198 IN ONE MONTH BECAUSE I FOLLOWED THIS article, TOOK AYURVEDIC TREATMENT AND THOUGHT NO NEED FOR THYROXINE REMEMBER ITS YOUR LIFE, THESE PEOPLE WILL MAKE article BUT AT LAST IF IT DOESN’T WORK FOR YOU, U WILL SUFFER ITS BEEN 2 YEARS MY TSH CAME DOWN TO NORMAL POST THYROXINE BUT THE HARM ITS DONE TO MY BODY IS BEYOND REPAIR TO NAME FEW 1. DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS CONTINUOUS 2. AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE 3. ISSUES IN PREGNANCY 4. HEART PALPITATIONS WITH NO CAUSE DETECTION

  • Thank you so much. I do find I’m bending over forwards practically all day with everything I do when Work, reading, housework, sewing. I will try to remember bending backwards several times in the day. You are right, stress doesn’t help and four meals of the day instead of three. You are so kind. Bless you

  • Living with the stigma of HSV 1 and 2 and not been able to have a healthy relationship was messing up my life until I got some super herbs from Dr igho YouTube website, I haven’t had any symptoms for some while now, after I did the test & I’m planning to get another Test done, Am grateful & advise you help yourself also

  • Thank you ma’am for all these wonderful tips . The only one I will not be taking is the consuming of dairy because the milk from a cow is for her baby calf . We have human mother milk and is only meant to be naturally consumed as an infant . Also for us to have access to a baby calfs milk which we take against their will. The babies are seperated from their mothers causeing immense grieving of both mother and calf fior many many days ( yes they do cry and bellow after each other, looking for one another ),they are then sold as a calf to be consumed themselves, shot or used as a dairy cow. These are my well researched reasons why I will not take this part of your advice but very mich value the other suggestions . Thank you 🙏🏽❤

  • What if you’ve a diagnosed hypothyroid, when its actually hyperthyroid, and is working at such a rate, there’s not enough left in your body so youre getting symptoms of hypothyroid. What would i treat it as? I stopped taking the thyroxine years ago. I now seem to have kidney/water/inflammation/heart/and bone problems. I have fibromyalgia and m.e. And the pain has got a lot worse. I never get enough rest or sleep. I dont eat for hours coz there’s no healthy food here and time constraints/illness/weak. Also, i wonder if overwhelming/ or a lot of stress causes it, because i notice at night i never relax my throat and have tried, but still wake up with it totally tense. I believe this would block the release of hormones.
