  • I agree, there are too many “- mancies” out there and it can get so confusing 🤔 (love the shelving behind you so easy to find things😀that was a very interesting cast, soo many things can happen from there👍… growing up I had a glass mushroom that had all of the shells that you talked about. I might just have to look for it to see if it’s around at my parents. It was a center peice on my dresser for many years and I always looked at it and played around with the shells to show them off against the glass — it had shells from the trips my dad did to the south 😄Omg I have a very similar pen 😄 love all the different inks that can be used for meanings and moods (sorry squirrel moment):chillwcat:. Thank you for sharing and have a great week

  • I live on Lake Erie. Great Lakes beaches don’t have a diverse offering of shells, but they have some interesting stones to offer. Petoskey stone and Yooperlite are the most popular (though not prevalent on Lake Erie). You can find yooperlite fairly easily by using a UV light. There is an abundance of unakite, calcite, carnelian and quartz. There are also slag stone like Leland blue stone and copper silver. Since they are ancient seas, there is an abundance of fossils. I also find bones from birds, fish and small animals. I’ve never considered using them for divination but I could easily assign meanings to the gifts I’ve found on Lake Erie. Thank you so much for shining a light in this direction! ⭐️🐚

  • This was awesome! Thank you so much for your information. I too, have been collecting shell and stones by the sea, for many years, for sentimental reasons. Never thought of divining with them? I have a lot of those shells, you mentioned I. Your article, and so now I can’t wait to dive in and start my own sea divination. Thank you so very much. Blessed be 🌙

  • I love hearing your perspective on divination. It was very informative to see you cast on the cloth. For one thing it is beautifully done in leather. I also liked how different each of you choices objects for casting were. It is so nice finding like-minded Witchy/Pagan/Nature Friends “juzzing” up our collectables. Blessings on your intentions with luv interests, etc…..🧙 Glad you came into our lives🧚
