How To Use The Magic Keyboard’S Emoji Feature?

The author is a heavy iPad user who uses the previous-generation iPad Pro and Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio. They have found the keyboard attachment to be great, but their only complaint is the lack of backlight, which makes it useless in the dark. To access and use emojis directly from the iPad Magic Keyboard, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPad.
2. Go to General > Keyboard.
3. Click on Keyboards.
4. Tap Add New Keyboard.
5. Search for “emoji” and click Emoji from the results to add it.
6. Boost Your Trackpad’s Power.
7. If you’re using Apple’s Magic Keyboard for iPad, press the globe key to open the emoji picker and insert one. If emojis do not show up using the globe key, fix it in iPad Settings.
8. For those new to external keyboards, you can add emoji to documents and text fields by using the keyboard shortcut Control + Command + Space to open the Character Viewer. This will show a list of emoji you can select for your document.
9. To access emojis, press Command + Control + Spacebar simultaneously. If this doesn’t work, remove the Magic Keyboard and reconnect.
10. Tap a text field, then tap the Emoji button. Swipe left or right to browse emoji, Memoji, and stickers. Go to General -> Keyboard -> Hardware Keyboard -> Press (Globe) For Emoji.
11. If you only use English as your input language, enable this option. Use the Up and Down arrows on the keyboard to select the Emoji keyboard from the list or press the Space bar to cycle through them.
12. The easiest way to access the emoji keyboard on your Mac is by using the keyboard shortcut.
13. When in typing mode, press the globe key in the bottom-corner of the screen.
