How To Use The Old Wow Spells With Prot Paladin?

This Protection Paladin Tank guide for WoW Classic focuses on mastering PvE content, specifically in the Season of Discovery. It covers various aspects of playing the Paladin class, including rotation, talent builds, stat priorities, BiS gear, consumables, and enchants. The guide emphasizes the importance of keeping the Seal of Righteousness up, keeping the Holy Shield up, using Judgement on pull for a burst of threat, and using a rank of Consecration for AoE threat.

The early game tasks can be challenging for a Prot Paladin, as they gain access to Righteous Fury at level 16 and can talent Consecration at level 16. To optimize the rotation of your Protection Paladin Tank Tank, it is essential to equip tank gear, train tank skills, press Seal of anything, judgement, consecration, and holy shield. Most of these pieces are drop from dungeons and raids, such as the Righteous Armor set or T4 set.

A starting guide provides information on the best talent builds, how to execute the proper rotation, and the best spells and procs for a Protection Paladin Tank in WoW Classic. At level 71, it becomes easier for players to get divine plea and enough talent points to reach the bottom of the Prot tree and down the Ret tree to seal of command.

In conclusion, this guide is designed to help players master the Protection Paladin Tank class in World of Warcraft Classic.

The console soft target enemy option, which can be activated by entering the command “slash console soft target enemy 3,” represents an intriguing effort to create a World of Warcraft-like environment.

What race is best for classic Paladin?

The Paladins are, at best, the most advantageous PvE race due to their modest advantage, The Human Spirit, which enhances passive mana generation when not engaged in combat or when following the five-second rule.

How do you use memorized spells?

Players need to equip a staff to cast a spell, which costs FP and is represented by the blue bar under the health bar. They can allocate flask charges to the Flask of Cerulean Tears to recover FP without resting at a Site of Grace. To increase Flask charges, players can find Golden Seeds in Elden Ring. The damage done by spells is scaled from the player’s Intelligence, while the number of spells they can use and memorize is determined by their Mind stat. Upgrading their staff can increase the damage of their spells, with some powerful Elden Ring staffs offering bonuses to specific spell types.

What is the spell ability of a paladin?

Charisma represents one’s capacity for spellcasting as a paladin, a quality that is contingent upon the strength of one’s convictions. This term is employed when a spell makes reference to one’s capacity for spellcasting. How do you use paladin spells?

The Paladin table displays the number of spell slots available for casting spells. To cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. All expended spell slots are regained after a long rest. To prepare a list of available spells, choose a number equal to your Charisma modifier + half your paladin level, rounded down. The spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For example, a 5th-level paladin with a Charisma of 14 can have four 1st or 2nd-level spell slots.

Casting a 1st-level spell doesn’t remove it from the list. To change the list of prepared spells, you must spend at least 1 minute in prayer and meditation per spell level for each spell on your list.

Can a paladin use magic?

Paladin spells, also known as smites, offer a variety of non-offensive options for the class. While they share some similarities with Cleric spells, Paladins have access to unique spells, such as Divine Smite ability and Smite-based spells that can be cast as bonus actions. Paladins can stack these spells with Divine Smite to deal severe damage within a single hit. One such spell is Warding Bond, a second-level abjuration spell that can only be cast if the caster and target are wearing platinum rings. This spell provides +1 AC and resistance to all damage, but the caster also takes damage. Paladins are bulky and have access to healing, which can help mitigate the cost of protecting an ally.

Do prot Paladins need spell power?

Since patch 3. 0. 2, Paladins no longer require added Spell Power from equipment or weapon, sharing the same tanking equipment with Warriors and Death Knights. The primary aggro stat is Strength, but Paladins still benefit from Spell Power. The passive skill Touched by the Light scales Spell Power to Strength, providing all the necessary power. Changing to a Warrior tanking weapon is suggested as much of the aggro is built up from weapon damage, Hammer of the Righteous, and other abilities.

Most paladins will notice an increase in aggro buildup when switching to a DPS tanking weapon, which improves survivability. Hit rating can help reduce the number of Righteous Defense resists, and hit rating bonuses can be helpful for tanking. Paladins also face threat from Holy Shield and Consecration. They do not need intellect, mana regeneration, or spirit on their tanking gear. They should expect to take enough damage to receive enough mana regeneration to finish the battle or dodge/parry/block enough hits to generate mana through Blessing of Sanctuary.

  • Hi Pallytime, I have a few questions about seal of Crusader and some niche uses for it (in part because of the fact that I like the seal because it’s cool lol) 1. To what extent do you take advantage of the interaction between SotC and judgment of light/wisdom? I believe I saw you make use of it in your article where you soloed SM. It seems to me that SotC + judgment of light would be a useful middle ground between Seal of light + judgment of light, which you recommend for survival, and judgment of crusader plus Seal of Righteousness for max damage. Perhaps if a mob is making you uncomfortable but you know you don’t need light + light you should use it? Does this situation happen much, and are there any heuristics you would use to identify such a situation? 2. Does seal twisting between seal of justice and SotC add any value if you want to interrupt a casting mob but don’t have HOJ ready? Perhaps if SoTC lets you get an extra hit in you could up your chances a tad? 3. I know this isn’t mana efficient but does seal twisting between SotC and seal of command or seal of righteousness add noticeably more dps? Maybe if you are ok with burning mana and wanna add any extra razzle-dazzle? (It is fun too haha) 4. Another advantage with attacking faster is that you are less likely to get horrible RNG — You’re less likely to miss four times in a row than three times in a row. It seems to me if you have some sort of debuff that makes you more likely to miss, that could be a reason to go with SotC?

  • I don’t follow why slower weapons prefer max rank SoR. Is it because all else being equal a sword and board give 2 items to carry +spellPower vs 1 item given by two hand? .. and so SoR R3 with greater spell power coefficient is therefore better used with sword and board (which just so happen to usually be faster) for the extra +spellPower, than with two hand (which just so happen to usually be slower) which gives less opportunity to carry +spellPower? Ty

  • I think you could improve your articles by making a structure or script of what you’re going to talk about. You ramble a lot and get off topic, I think your articles could provide the same info in a much shorter time with some planning. For example, you say TL’DR every few minutes – this should be something you only say one time.

  • Greetings from Russia, man! I played in wow classic for about 1 year and decided come back 2 days ago and start playing with pala.
