In Astrology, What Is The Galactic Center?

The Galactic Center, located at approximately 27° of the Zodiac Sign Sagittarius, is a gravitational focal point around which our entire Milky Way galaxy revolves. It is a powerful source of energy and is considered a significant point in astrology, connecting celestial bodies to human experiences. Astrologers explore the enigmatic depths of the Galactic Center, seeking celestial wisdom that illuminates pathways to personal evolution, spiritual enlightenment, and breaking free from constraints.

Located 26,000 light-years from Earth, the Galactic Center marks the gravitational heart of our Milky Way galaxy. Centaurs (or minor planets) transiting this region in recent times can provide insights into the Galactic Center’s significance in astrology. The Galactic Center or Galactic Core is a powerful point in any astrology chart, with its current location being 26° 51 minutes in 2000 and around 3° Sideral.

The Galactic Center holds immense power based on the polarized forces of creation, drawing in (yin) and pushing out (yang) energy. Saturn over the Galactic Center asks us to take responsibility for ourselves and be aware that our energy, thoughts, feelings, and actions are all interconnected. The alignment of the Galactic Center with this sign suggests a cosmic push towards understanding the deeper truths of the universe.

As the Galactic Center is a super massive black hole as large as 4 million suns, it is the center of our universe. Any planet located in the last five degrees of Sagittarius can be described as “aligned” with the Galactic Center, although this term relates to other celestial bodies. The Galactic Center, or Galactic Core, is a cosmic hotspot that astrologers adore and invites us to explore its enigmatic depths.

What is the galactic zodiac?

The zodiac is a belt around the sky that extends 9° on either side of the ecliptic, the Sun’s apparent annual path. It contains 12 constellations or astrological signs, which affect the outcome of events, such as someone’s birth. The Babylonians divided the zodiac into 12 signs, each occupying 1/12 of its great circle, around 500 BCE. Many of these signs are still used today. The ancient Greeks called the zone zōdiakos kyklos, “circle of animals”, or ta zōdia, “the little animals”. The Chinese zodiac system also involves a cycle of animals, with each symbol representing one year in a repeating cycle of 12 years.

The precession of the equinoxes has shifted the constellations eastward, causing the dates of the zodiac signs to no longer correspond to the astronomical constellations in which the Sun actually appears. The constellations are irregular in size and shape, and the Sun does not spend one month in each constellation. The Sun even passes through one constellation (Ophiuchus) that is not considered a member of the zodiac.

Is the Galactic Center a black hole?

NASA’s Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) telescope has found that the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, Sagittarius A, is far less luminous than other galaxies we can observe. This suggests that the ancient sleeping giant woke up 200 years ago to devour cosmic debris within its reach. Sagittarius A is more than 25, 000 light years from Earth, our nearest supermassive black hole, with an estimated mass millions of times that of our Sun. It is often abbreviated to Sgr A* (pronounced “Sagittarius A star”) and is located in the constellation of Sagittarius at the very heart of the Milky Way. The findings suggest that our galaxy’s central black hole has not been actively gobbling up material around it.

How do I find my Galactic Center?

How do I find my Galactic Center?

The Galactic Center, located 2 degrees before the sign of Sagittarius in the constellation Ophiuchus, represents the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is a powerful source of energy, surrounded by millions of stars emitting radio and gamma rays. Despite its significance, it is often overlooked in mainstream astrology. Ancients believed this part of the sky led to higher consciousness and spiritual growth. Astrological observation reveals that the Galactic Center is a transformative part of the sky, symbolizing a “phoenix rising out of the ashes”.

The placement of the Galactic Center in our natal charts indicates which area of life holds this powerful energy, and its interaction with our personal planets, such as the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant, can reveal our spiritual path and purpose.

What does Galactic Center mean in astrology?

The Galactic Center, located at 26-27 degrees of Sagittarius, is believed to open up the sub-conscious mind, urging us to release old emotional wounds and traumas and engage in our New Paradigm roles. It acts as a transmitter of Divine Consciousness and connects individuals to their freedom and truth. Our personal connection to the Galactic Center comes from the House (area of life) and other planets and points it interacts with. When aligned with cosmic forces, the energy may appear in an Astrology chart by House.

What lies at the Galactic Center?

The Milky Way, a massive galaxy, is home to a dense sky of stars, up to 1 million times denser than our average view. The spiral arm structure of the galaxy has broken down, forming a “bulge” of stars. The dominant force in this area is a black hole called Sagittarius A, which is relatively calm compared to other supermassive black holes. Astronomers plan to use NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope to investigate this mystery. Webb’s infrared light-detecting instruments can provide a clearer view of the tightly-packed region surrounding the black hole and a more accurate measurement of its mass. Previous research indicates that the mass of Sagittarius A ranges on the low end of normal for galaxies the size of the Milky Way. Webb can also study the relationship between a black hole and the matter surrounding it, in part by studying supermassive black holes in other galaxies. Active galactic nuclei (AGN) are a type of extremely bright galaxy core, fueled by supermassive black holes actively “consuming” large amounts of infalling cosmic matter.

What is meant by Galactic Center?

The central region of our galaxy, the Milky Way, is home to an exotic collection of objects, including a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A, hot gas clouds, neutron stars and white dwarf stars, and radio emission. A new composite image of the region around Sagittarius A, combined with Chandra data and radio data from the MeerKAT telescope in South Africa, is being used to study the universe. This data will eventually become part of the Square Kilometer Array (SKA), revealing the vastness of our universe.

How do I know where the Galactic core is?

How do I know where the Galactic core is?

The Galactic Center is the barycenter of the Milky Way and a point on the galaxy’s rotational axis. Its central massive object is a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A*, which is approximately 8 kiloparsecs away from Earth. The Milky Way appears brightest near the Butterfly Cluster or the star Shaula, south to the Pipe Nebula. Within one parsec of the Galactic Center, there are around 10 million stars, dominated by red giants and a significant population of massive supergiants and Wolf-Rayet stars.

The core stars are a small part of the wider galactic bulge. The Galactic Center cannot be studied at visible, ultraviolet, or soft X-ray wavelengths due to interstellar dust along the line of sight. Instead, information about the Galactic Center comes from observations at gamma ray, hard X-ray, infrared, submillimetre, and radio wavelengths.

Is there a black hole coming to Earth?

The probability of a black hole engulfing Earth or the entire universe is exceedingly low, largely due to its relatively weak gravitational pull. If our Sun were replaced by a black hole of the same mass, the Earth and other planets would continue to orbit in a similar manner, as there would be no discernible change in the gravitational force acting upon them. Nevertheless, the replacement of our Sun with a black hole would result in the Solar System becoming markedly darker and colder.

What is the center of the universe in astrology?

Heliocentric astrology is an approach to astrology that focuses on birth charts drawn using the heliocentric model of the Solar System, positioning the Sun at the center. This differs from geocentric astrology, which places Earth at the center, as it interprets planetary positions from the Sun’s vantage point. Unlike geocentric astrology, which considers elements like the ascendant, midheaven, houses, Sun, Moon, and planetary aspects, heliocentric astrology focuses primarily on planetary aspects and configurations.

Astrologers often use this method in conjunction with geocentric astrology to access insights beyond the traditional framework. The roots of heliocentric astrology date back to Copernicus’s 16th-century work on heliocentrism. Early pioneers like Andreas Aurifaber and Joshua Childrey challenged geocentric perspectives during the 17th century, proposing that astrology could align with contemporary natural philosophy.

In the late 19th century, Holmes Whittier Merton’s book Heliocentric Astrology: Or, Essentials of Astronomy and Solar Mentality emphasized the relationship between astronomy and the Sun’s influence on mentality.

What are the characteristics of the Galactic Center?

The Galactic Center, located in the constellation of Sagittarius, is a mysterious and diverse place. It is home to a massive black hole 4 million times the mass of our Sun, young star clusters, supernova remnants, molecular clouds, and gas filaments. The Galactic Center is a unique feature of our galaxy, a place where we have more stars than any other galaxy. This discovery was first made in science fiction, such as Asimov’s Foundation trilogy, where the Empire’s capital is near the Galactic Center on the world of Trantor. Today, we have more information about this mysterious and diverse place.

What degree of Sagittarius is the Galactic Center?

What degree of Sagittarius is the Galactic Center?

The Galactic Center, which is the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, appears to drift through the constellations from Earth’s vantage point. It has been in the constellation Sagittarius since modern astronomical history. The Sun’s orbit passes near the Galactic Centre each year around 21-22 December, but it rarely aligns exactly with the true Galactic Centre. The closest approach to the Galactic Centre in our orbit drifts slightly each year, with the current position being almost exactly at 27 degrees Sagittarius (Tropical Zodiac) and 6 degrees Sagittarius (Sidereal Zodiac), which is the true center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Within the spiral arms of the Milky Way are many Interstellar Star Communities, groups of solar systems and stars that revolve around each other in massive groups. The Central Sun, Alycone, and at least eight other Suns revolve around Central Sun Alycone on an approximately 26, 000-year cycle. The Greater Central Sun, Sirius, the Dog Star, also revolves around this system.

One complete revolution around the Milky Way Galaxy is known as the Great Cycle Orbit or one Galactic Year. Scientific estimates suggest that one Great Cycle Orbit takes 226-250 million years, with an estimated 59 Great Cycle Orbits since the beginning of the Milky Way Galaxy and 20-30 since Earth’s development within our Solar System.

  • The actual degree of the Galactic Center is around 5° Sagittarius in Sidereal. 😁There’s space for all of us in this MULTIVERSE. 🧡 4th house Moon exact Galactic center and trine Venus. This is so spot on. I’m studying astrology and I am way more interested in Ancient Astrology like Sidereal, Babylonian and Atlantian.

  • TwinFlames: Jeanette MacDonald & Nelson Eddy, MGMs 1930s “America’s Singing Sweethearts” in their 8 movies from 1935 to 1942, were both natural Redheads. My 1st wife from age 16 to 24 was an Irish-Italian Redhead…i had a red tint in my 1st beard at age 19. Love your beautiful new look,…tho you always appear beautiful AND overflowing with astrological wisdom. Check-out the late, great Astrologer, Linda Goodman!

  • This is exactly what happened within me on my quest for truth. Through enough pain realization and questioning i realized the self within and that we where all one and stripped myself of ego and who i thought i was. Aka anything of the material lvl i removed rememberd the mother of all and gave thanks in my heart. Suddenly after a long search of painful seekings the kundalini rised within and i was kneeeling infront of the blackhole. It was truely more real than what i see with my own eyes in front of me. Thank you for your truth Goddess

  • Hey girl! I just wanna thank you for all your work! I really like your perspective on astrology, and the lightness, the serious and the humor you put to it! I have learned so much from you over the years! So thank you, thank you! And the last thing I want to point out, Alyssa, you look so well! Happy, got a spark in your eyes, aaaaand your hair and make up are just on point! Lots of love from Denmark! 💋

  • I “discovered” you on PeaceDealers website where you introduced your Rose Line System. I am thoroughly enjoying your articles and am learning so much! Thank you for your skill and for sharing your craft. My galactic center is in the 5th. This explains a lot of the awareness I’ve felt all my life. Very interesting!

  • Ooooo, what a fun informative article! I have Neptune at 27 degrees Sag and my south node at 25 degrees Sag in my 3rd house. I feel like I understand so much, but know nothing and I am destined in this life to be the forever student. I’m a Gemini sun in the 9th house, so believe me I’m not mad about being the student this life time 🙌 Thanks for all the hard work on the daily articles ☺️ That’s a huge undertaking and you’re bringing us so much unique information. I feel so spoiled 🥰

  • I have Neptune 26° Sagittarius in 2nd house in Tropical/ Western Astrology! I always wondered about this since I first heard about the Galactic Center…🤔 I was told when I was an infant that I came here with an old soul + I have developed a great level stability in my spiritual practice/meditation. It feeds + nourishes my soul.

  • I am loving the distraction of your fabulous hair, that color compliments you so well. I don’t think I line up with Galactic Center, the only thing I have is my Sun at 11,57 Sag and Mercury at 21,53 Sag in my 4th House. Neptune and Venus sit casually in Scorpio which is not far given my birthdate under Ophichius but they are at 3rd House 28,55 and 4th @ 29,35 respectfully. I have not a single sign sitting in the 27th degree do I must not be from Galactic Center or I just enjoy being difficult, you can decide on that rhetorical statement…lol Thank-you for the awesome education you provide. You never disappoint, not even with your hair💯🙏👍🦉💯❤️

  • Do you work with harmonic astrology? Bruce Lee has his Mars conjunct galactic centre (1degree orb) in the seventh harmonic, 7th harmonic is associated with focus and discipline. David Bowie has his Sun conjunct galactic centre in the 17th harmonic, 17th harmonic tends to art, theatre, and performance. David Cochrane has some great articles on harmonic astrology.

  • Mines in my 3 house conjunct black moon Lilith. No wonder I’ve always considered Lilith my true mother lol, also finding balance between the two faces of the mother is important to me being able to embody the light caretaker creator and the dark destructive side in balance is my goal. I’ve also played with reading charts from the galactic center and it’s pretty interesting!

  • I was struggling to find a vid here on yt with adequate info abt the Center, so thank you for posting this ♥️ btw is it possible to talk about the moving zodiacal constellations one day? I’ve been studying astronomy for a while and the star positions are actually different from the positions we use in astro, and whenever I go stargazing I see mercury, Saturn and jupiter currently in Capricorn when they’re astrologically in Aquarius 😂 but they’d be in cap in sidereal, no? Ooh this is confusing. But I did read that the positions now are different from ancient times. Btw the Center is conjunct my 5th house cusp of creativity. I’ve been connected to the Creative source all my life, I should say, it’s kind of what I live for.

  • Please do one for the 2nd house !!!!!! My moon and Uranus is located directly on the GC. 26 degrees. I have a sag Stellium. But my moon is square mercury and asc, conj. Saturn and opposite chiron BUT trine NN and a lot of asteroids. I love astrology and feel as if I need to push knowledge onto people to help heal them.. and I do. I’m going through my nodal return soon so I’m curious if you have any advice. I feel stuck moving forward. ?? Thank you ! Aries NN 6th house. Libra rising so it’s 3rd house whole sign!

  • V for victory virtue and vigilance! My MC is at 28 degree Sag. but Neptune is transiting Pisces in my 12th. I feel like I am in Stoner-ville. I have a hole in my heart. Black moon Lilith is cojunct. Lilith was on top, Eve was a victim I heard. Truth, I can’t handle the truth. The 13th Astrological signs in out Solar Systems orbit around the Milky way? Chronos is a rolling stone, classic rock!

  • Astronomers use J2000 coordinates which has the galactic center still at 266°. Pope Francis is the 266th pope. Became pope on 3/13/13 which are the 2nd 6th 6th primes. Gave a speech at the White House on the 266th day of the year on 9/23/2015 beginning at 9:23am. Neptune discovered on 9/23. Uranus discovered on 3/13/1781. Interesting that there will be a Uranus Mars conjunction on Inauguration Day. Venus born from the sea and severed genitals of Uranus. Uranus and Venus the only planets that spin in a backwards direction.

  • I missed the part where the GC is related to promiscuity. If someone caught it, please reply with a timestamp. I would really appreciate it. In any event, I trust Alyssa because she’s an OG and if you don’t believe me refer to the Painted by Spencer reverse cat eye. Literally perfected months before the world knew it was the thing to pay attention to😘

  • I don’t have any planets near the galactic center, but my path of fortune is at 28 degrees Sagittarius (in tropical) and 4 degrees (in sidereal) both in the 11th house I uh, don’t really have a lot of faith in my dreams (I can’t even tell if they’ll be real or just my mind wanting them to be real). I’m quick to burn out and give up, especially if I see or learn something that negatively impacts it (or my anxiety makes itself known, as usual) I have never been able to find solutions to any problems honestly, and my disabilities definitely don’t help with that. I’m perpetually lost and confused, rarely ever able to see any semblance of a path ahead So, it sounds like the opposite of me haha. I wonder if it doesn’t resonate because I don’t have any planets there, but I’m not entirely sure. Thanks for the article though!

  • Very interesting! I have Libra Rising, so mine is in the 3rd House, and it is conjunct Uranus and Saturn at 25 degrees. I also have five planets (Sun, Saturn and Uranus in Sag/Venus and Neptune in Cap) in the 3rd (spanning into Capricorn). My 3rd house is definitely a focal point for me. I’m a night chart obviously with a 3rd house sun. Very curious how this is depicted as my best benefic (Venus) and my worst malefic (Saturn) have the same home in the 3rd. 🤔

  • Wow! In mine and my husband’s second house and we are blessed financially (particularly no savings but our salaries are great) however we spend a lot of money and time to advocate for everyone. I am pretty much a communist and all I want is security for my fellow Americans. Security of having a home, food, healthcare and value for their work.

  • I have moon conjunct Nuptune in mula on the Galactic Center 💔 my mom passed away September 10,2016 think that Showed her Dissolving leaving this earth but I still feel her even tho I can’t touch her I feel she is still around. Anyone here with nuptune conjunct moon lost there mom early or is a medium?

  • I’m always looking for more info on GC, thank you for sharing this✨🌀✨ I have Neptune directly on the GC at the end of my 7th house, with a 5 degree conjunction to the Sun, South Node, and Ceres at the beginning of my 8th house.. Thank you again for sharing, love your articles, very informative.. 🌒🌓🌔💛🌖🌗🌘

  • Interesting, it’s in my 8th, but I have two houses in sag, I wouldnt say I was ever sexually promiscuous when I was younger but I had a curious detached approach to sex like this is just another way of getting to know someone, but people assume I am more open sexually to them than I am. It’s very interesting, if it’s at 27 sag now does it matter where it was when we were born?

  • Wait I’m confused again lol. I feel like I’m always commenting cus I’ve confused myself 😅. People are saying like my sun or Venus or whatever is 27° Sagittarius such and such house. My chart shows I have Sagittarius 27°51’ in the 4th house but how do I know if it is sun or something, I don’t have Sagittarius in my chart anywhere, well my Lilith is Sagittarius. Or am I supposed to find what else is at that degree? Cus I have X MC at 27°51 but it’s in Gemini. Idk if I’m making sense 🤪

  • My Natal neptune is at 25′ Sag in the 3rd house. Some astrologer said it conjunct to the Galactic center, is it true? How wide is the orb that you used to determined if its a conjunction or not? Different astrologer different interpretation, a bit confusing to be honest 🤔🤔🤔 Thx for the article though 🙏🙏🙏 very enlightening.

  • My Sun is 27 degree Sag. in 10th house, I really can not have words to explain how deeply I connected to everything and everyone beyond this 3d reality and the inner knowledge coming to me naturally and insightfully without any effort. I have unbelievable stories in my life, synchronic events and many interesting life expriences that I never ever talk about to people & do not need to. I live this life time like a magic, not becouse it is so reasonably great; evrything in my life time is so highly insightfully destined by me and with my intentions.

  • Even though I don’t have 25-27° Sagittarius in my chart (sigh 😌) I make up for it by meditating with it daily by connecting my pillar of light to the Galactic Center and grounding it in Mother Earth. Then I listen to Molly to take full advantage of the transiting planets energy to receive FULL advantage of these STELLAR energies. And really taking the DEEP DIVE with the December Soul Growth Astrology offering- where we get a huge dose of GC on the Gemini Full Moon!!!

  • I’ve recently learned about the Galaxy Centre. My natal sun ☀️ is Sag at 26 degrees and my moon is 2 degrees of Scorpio and I am learning about this. I literally googled Galatic Centre and this article popped up! I’ve been following Molly for a few years now and I have recently bought her Soul Growth Program and wow was I delighted to see this come up! Thank you 🙏

  • Everything you said make sense. My Dad was a Sagittarius and had a huge spiritual knowledge but could be judging. He was was very loving, but mostly kept his judgment to himself. He was a very sweet and kind father and husband. He revealed it before he passed away that he really didn’t like most people. The earth was conjunction the galactic center opposite the sun when I was born. Gemini 24 degrees and it is information in with no filters. While during Sagittarius, the sun is between the earth and the galactic center. It seems to have more filters and that spiritual wisdom. This what I learned over the years from this family dynamic. We were always close.

  • Wow, excellent article as always Molly! My natal Neptune is at 27° Sagittarius ( in my 12th house) and I have always felt a bit ahead of the game, more intuitive than others, and I’ve always seemed to ask Big questions that other people don’t care about. A couple years ago I looked into this placement and there was basically nothing online, but this morning oh my goodness – there’s so much more out there now! Of course, that’s no surprise because my entire life has taught me to trust in divine timing. Lately I’ve been getting so many more clues about what I’m here to do, it’s exciting. This is a very special time we get to experience… even if it seems very chaotic and confusing right now.

  • This is very interesting, thank you for sharing, Molly! I belong to the ‘generation’ (I really consider this as almost a separate ‘generation’ in the Pluto-in-Scorpio generation) born around 1988 where Saturn and Uranus were conjunct this Galactic center point and going back and forth between this point and the early degrees of Capricorn. I remember you had mentioned in one of your articles that your Asc is conjunct this point and that helped me to articulate for myself the resonance I feel with many of messages you share (that Sat&Uranus with Galactic center are jn the 12th house close to my own Asc in early Cap, and that’s really a lot of energy and information to process:) . Also, my MC’s conjunct the “Great Attractor” and my Jup is at the 27 Tau Pleiadian point..haha. It is interesting, though, that hat Pleiadian point is exactly inconjunct the Galactic center, and since I have major planets in these points, it’s always been a true puzzle to me how to embrace these points in a truly harmonious way.

  • Thanks so much, Molly. My Mercury in Sag at 27°. Specific information on an exact interpretation, in seventh house, seems lacking, but you do a good job in explaining as best as one can, nonverbal I suppose. I’m out in the universe downloading info that I return with and live out my life with the unexplained reflected in what I leave behind.

  • I have Jupiter at 1° Cap. That may be too wide of an orb but i do feel like im always seeking answers to deeper questions, taking courses for more knowledge and on this psychospiritual quest. At first it was more of an egotistical desire but now i am looking to be a better person and help others improve their lives. This jupiter is in 1st house, square pluto in libra in 10th house. Also im Sag rising with Aqua sun. This year, after SN transited my 1st house i had an ego crushing reality check. I have recognized how egotistical and judgemental i have been thanks to a Sag Neptune on my ASC. How humbling yet liberating.

  • Dear Molly, once again you present something that rocks me, resonating, and lighting me on fire! I am so grateful for what I have learned from you over the years. Like you say, there’s always something new to learn! New things on this article that pertain to my own chart! Gee, what a special time for me, and the world!! Love, appreciation, and blessings to you dear heart…🥰❤🌎🌏🌍

  • I am a Sag, an empath and a lightworker. The ascension process has been difficult to many of us and we assiduously work hard to heal ourselves in order to heal the planet and humanity. I, myself, have been in this path of ascension for more than two decades. I was filled of hope that things will get better, my life and the world. What is disheartening to me is why the “unaware” are still able to do what they want and we the lightworkers who are taking all the hit can’t even improve our lives. Me and other lightworkers only wanted to be able to have a source of income, job, be able to support ourselves and be free. But it seems it is an uphill climb or an enormous struggle to achieve this simple desire. While others continue to destroy, maligned, corrupt, gain and hold more power and misusing such power to undermine and ignore international laws. Why?

  • I have the South Node in Sag at 21 degrees in my 6th house, the only fire in my chart. I spent a lot of time on my spirituality in the last couple of years, experiencing most intense devotion from June 2020 to April 2021, at which time I felt so connected with someone who then, to my surprise and heartbreak, coldly pushed me away. After that, I had a really hard time reconnecting with my practice, and to make it harder, since my guru passed away in August 2021, I just have been unable to find my way back to that place within. Instead, I yearn for the lost connection with that person. Oddly enough, sometimes I think I needed to meet that person to put me on another path of making other kinds of decisions, regardless of good or bad, but definitely new.

  • Hi Molly! This is a great article on the galactic center. My sun is in the 9th house and at 26* so this helps me to understand how I innately know there’s greater or bigger things than “us” and I absolutely love astrology & plan to take more classes to have a better understanding of how & why people & circumstances play out the way they do. Thank you 🙏🏽 💛✨

  • Thank you for this Molly! I don’t have any planets or houses at that exact degree point of Sagittarius. However, I do have my six house at 10° of Sagittarius and then my Jupiter in the sixth house at 4° of Capricorn. Since that degree point falls in my sixth house I will take a look at my energies that lie within that house. Thank you 😊🙏

  • Wow if consider the orb less than 5 degrees, rather than exact orb, there are many planets interacting with Galactic Center in my chart. Sun 21o Geminj opposite Moon 22 Leo Trine Venus 26o46’ (AC 26o30’ Cancer) Quincunxes North Node 28o Aries (MC 28o Aries) trine South Node 28 Libra sextile I also curious about a Pentagram which I have that formed from 2 Yods one with Mars Apex, 1 with Moon Apex and the other points are Sun, Jupiter and Pluto, similar to Marilyn Monroe, I found it attracts my attention, still searching for it, hopefully someone may have some understanding about it. 🤍 Thanks for your sharing, I always love Galactic Astrology + Asteroids, I feel like Asteroids are much more than a sign here, rather a body/ with great consciousness and power that affects our chart greatly. Hopefully one day more secrets of Asteroids unveiled. Namaste 🤍

  • Another incredibly helpful article! My sun is at 29 degrees of Sag and north node is at 28 degrees of Sag, both in the 4th house, and conjunct several other personal planets, so this is an important and influential placement that i have been trying to understand. It’s hard to find info on that 29th degree that’s not doom-filled lol. I really have always felt the presence of things and beings that i couldn’t see, had lots of “imaginary” friends, and was drawn to religion as a kid and then to deep spiritual practices as an adult. Im almost 49 now and longing to explore various mystic traditions. Is the Galactic center associated with any specific mystic traditions more strongly than others? It seems wise to start my explorations with one that has a strong connection, given my north node at this point. Thanks again for a great article!

  • Hi Molly, thank you for Sharing your wisdom and knowledge. I’ve been trying for a while to understand my moon placement and have been getting pieces of knowledge. My moon is 25°52′ sag 5th house, conjunct my Neptune at the exact degree 25°52 and my natal gc is 26°32. I’ve found info on moon conjunct gc and Neptune conjunct gc but not both while I can relate to both explanations…. it also feels Different at the same time.

  • My MOON and URANUS is located almost directly on the GC in the 3rd house whole sign and 2nd house placidius. ?? Thank you !

  • What are your thoughts about Ophiucus (so called 13th sign) ? I’ve heard theories about it being closely related to the galactic centre, not so much by degree or physical position, it was more described as a kind of portal that one might step through or goal that they attain when reaching enlightenment, kundalini awakening etc. The basic premise was that the galactic centre energies aren’t just given to someone by planets degree/conjunction but by spirituality/spiritual practice. I would love to hear your opinion on this! Very fascinating topic is the GC! Cheers 🙂

  • thank you this answers a question for me. I am quite in tune with events i just seem to know stuff i get funny feelings. my AC is at 29. 50 of Pisces so no shift in houses thinking that’s the reason but my MC is at 29,50 of Sagittarius. also at 27 degrees i have Lilith in Aries conjunct north node trines Venus i Leo trines Jupiter theses p0sitions have been healing during my Chiron return Chiron is at 27 degrees Pisces acts like a gate keeper before transits cross my AC so with this new information explains how when you do a reading it all sound very personal to me. hmm unless your spying on me lol

  • I feel the Galactic Center energies as very dark … is this possible that darker cosmic energies are trying to website me during galactic center alignments, or am I being shown this energy for a reason to decipher it? Even relationships with people that have alignments with galactic center energies are especially negative and toxic for me… could these people be triggering more awakening in me through my suffering? Is there a way to shut off the dark energetic attacking and filter toward the more positive galactic energies around me? Maybe the dark energies are Draconian and they are drowning out my more light connections? One of my most toxic relationships was with someone that had Pisces sun at 27 degrees. He was a sociopathic liar. Lol. Really negative. I especially now try to avoid people that I know have alignments with 27 Sag.
