In Skyrim, How Can One Obtain Master Level Destruction Spells?

In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, master-level spell tomes can only be acquired after completing the school’s ritual spell quest. To acquire these tomes, one must have a destruction level of 90 or 100 and complete the “Destruction Ritual Spell” quest. Master-level spells can only be purchased once the school’s ritual spell quest has been completed.

To obtain the Fire Storm spell, one must read the completed book and then speak to Faralda in the College of Winterhold for the master spell quests. After completing this quest, one can purchase spell tomes for the Lightning Storm and Blizzard spells. Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, and Master Destruction all reduce the mana cost of Destruction spells of the same rank by half.

To level Destruction, one must re-equip Fortify Magicka equipment. Apprentice-level spells may level Destruction more rapidly unless hitting multiple targets at once. To acquire master-level spells, one must complete the “Destruction Ritual Spell” quest upon reaching level 100 Destruction.

Faralda at the College of Winterhold sells and trains in Destruction magic. Master spells cannot be purchased initially, but they must have quests completed to earn them. Once a player reaches Level 90 in Destruction, they can purchase expert Destruction spells from Faralda in the College of Winterhold. Higher spells are purchasable once the skill level is reached.
