Saturn, the planet of karma, is associated with restriction and limitation, as it commands us to work hard and discipline ourselves. It is the mythological father of hedonistic Jupiter, enforcing a timeout and scolding us when we get too carried away. Saturn likens working from a blueprint, understanding where the rules and restrictions lie, and calculating savvy solutions based on them.
Saturn is associated with a solitary existence, constantly fighting for survival due to its lifestyle and diligent work ethic. It prioritizes necessity over luxury, emphasizing the importance of hard work, patience, and perseverance. In traditional astrology, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, but its rule-oriented and responsible edge may not align with this unconventional air sign’s vibe.
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and governs the base structure of everything, from teeth and bones to the organizational hierarchy of a company. It takes 29 years to complete a full Saturn cycle. Saturn teaches us the value of hard work, patience, and perseverance, helping us grow spiritually and mature as individuals.
Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius of about nine. If an individual loses touch with the ambitious and goal-setting part of Saturn, they may fall into the submissive, cynical, and submissive aspects of the zodiac.
Saturn is considered a barren, binding, cold, constant, dry, defensive, hard, nervous, and secretive planet, ruling over the signs Capricorn and Aquarius in the Zodiac. It is considered a eunuch planet with Tamasic qualities, finding exaltation in Libra and debilitation in Aries. Taurus and Gemini are friendly signs for Saturn.
📹 How Saturn is Affecting Your Life (Astrology)
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed the video on Saturn’s influence through the zodiac signs. Saturn is such a fascinating planet …
What are the rules of Saturn in astrology?
Saturn is a planet associated with concentration, permanence, and productivity. It also governs caution, delay, constriction, limitation, responsibility, rules, authority, discipline, control, and denial. Without Saturn, progress would be minimal, and we would lack structure and structure. Saturn forces us to confront reality, causing a slow-down or freeze in certain areas of our charts. This planet is cold, icy, and considered heavy or leaden, urging us to confront reality and maintain a sense of order and control.
What does the planet Saturn represent in astrology?
Saturn, a symbol of discipline, responsibility, and structure in astrology, influences a person’s life by influencing their career, authority, and long-term achievements. Its energy is associated with seriousness, perseverance, and maturity, teaching patience, responsibility, and realistic goals. Positively, Saturn helps achieve ambitions through hard work and determination, bringing stability and building strong foundations. Conversely, negative aspects can cause feelings of restriction, fear, and self-doubt.
Saturn’s position in the zodiac signs reflects its serious energy. In Capricorn, it is strong, ambitious, and focused on goals. Aquarius, on the other hand, brings a more innovative and humanitarian approach to discipline, valuing independence and original thinking. Libra, on the other hand, is focused on relationships and fairness, aiming for balance and harmony in interactions. These individuals are responsible, diplomatic, and often take on the role of mediator. Saturn’s influence on a person’s life is significant, as it influences their sense of duty, obstacles, and lessons to learn.
What energy does Saturn bring?
Saturn, the energy of personal responsibility, is a sign of the subconscious mind and higher spiritual being. It is mutable and water, indicating humility, compassion, and service orientation. Pisces, a sign of the subconscious mind, is a sign of healing, focusing on mental, emotional, and psychological healing. One manifestation of Saturn in Pisces is to de-stigmatize mental health, creating new paradigms for dealing with the homeless population and prison reform.
Saturn’s usual defining and controlling nature may be difficult to express due to Pisces’ sign of devotion and unconditional love. Instead of defining reality, Saturn in Pisces needs to be open to intuitively realizing the best and most productive path going forward. This requires tuning in to the “inner directive” received from the Universe. By focusing on the best and most productive path, Saturn can help individuals navigate their lives more effectively.
What body part does Saturn rule?
Saturn affects various aspects of the body, including legs, bones, muscles, teeth, hair, and joints, causing physical weakness, joint pain, arthritis, and gastric problems. Rahu can cause cancer, breathing issues, ulcers, cataracts, and stammering. Ketu, the ‘karaka’ planet of the abdomen, is responsible for wounds and flesh rotting due to insect bites, bringing mysterious diseases and weakening immunity. Vedic astrology reveals that planets and birth signs are closely related to human chakras and organs, helping to identify energy, physical, mental, emotional strength, and diseases in the human body.
What makes Saturn happy?
To appease Saturn in Hindu mythology, one can practice mantras, walk barefoot, practice Karma Yoga, make charitable donations, perform yagya, light lamps with sesame/mustard oil, worship Lord Kaalbhairav, refrain from intoxicants, devote Saturdays to Lord Hanuman, and worship the Peepal tree. Saturn, also known as the ‘Lord of Karma’, is believed to be just, rewarding, or punishing individuals based on their deeds, despite being viewed as malefic and cruel.
Which planet is known as the Lonely planet?
Astronomers have discovered a gas giant, PSO J318. 5-22, a mere 80 light years from Earth, wandering the heavens alone. This gas giant, six times the mass of Jupiter, is a relative newborn, having formed only 12 million years ago. Michael Liu of the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, who helped find the planet, said that it has never been seen free-floating in space like this before.
The planet’s heat signature, located in the Capricornus constellation and belonging to the Beta Pictoris moving group, was spotted over two years of observations using the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope in Hawaii. Confirmation of the lonely planet was made with measurements made by the Gemini observatory in July. The details and description of the planet will be published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters.
Which planet makes you introvert?
Pisces is a planet with a clairvoyant and delicate sign, indicating mystical tolerance and a need for solitude to sort emotions from others. Pisces individuals release their pranic vitality through connection, and those with planets in Pisces, particularly with Sun, Moon, or Ascendant, should find something they care about to reduce their feelings of detachment. Saturn creates separation, motivating individuals to learn it and spend time alone. Neptune, conjunction with Sun, Moon, or Ascendant, is similar to Pisces and the twelfth house, indicating touchy individuals who receive energies and states of mind from others.
Ketu, conjunction with Ascendant, Sun, or Moon, is profound, lonering and sharpening an individual, often causing them to feel segregated or desolate. Overall, Pisces, Saturn, Neptune, Ketu, and Ketu are all planets that can impact an individual’s personality and life path.
What is the most unloved planet?
Uranus, often referred to as the “butt” of jokes, is one of the most unloved planets in our solar system. Despite being sent to Mercury, Mars, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter, Uranus has only qualified for a presidential brush-by in 1986 when Voyager 2 passed by. Despite its comic reputation, Uranus is one of the most interesting, exciting, and weird planets we know of, making it a fascinating subject for astronomical exploration.
What is the lonely planet in astrology?
Laal Kitaab suggests that a planet’s auspicious results are achieved when it is alone in a house or not aspected by any other planet in a horoscope. A lonely planet signifies the planet occupying a house alone, while an inauspicious planet indicates a debilitated or enemy house. An auspicious planet signifies the planet being the lord of the house, placed in a friendly or exalted state. Understanding the auspicious and inauspicious effects of lonely planets is crucial for predicting future outcomes.
Which planet makes you alone?
Loneliness is a phenomenon that can be attributed to a number of astrological factors, including the influence of Saturn, Venus, Ketu, the 3rd, 8th, and 12th houses, as well as the lords of these houses. Saturn is associated with a sense of lack or deficiency, Venus represents the quality of love, and Ketu, the planet of detachment, can contribute to feelings of loneliness when circumstances prevent the expression or receipt of love.
What chakra is Saturn?
Saturn is a powerful force that helps us feel part of the universe, nature, and other humans. It serves as a disciplined teacher, giving us tests and lessons to improve our weak points and reveal parts of human character that need to be completed. Saturn also limits, creates obstacles, and makes initiatives useless, but once we learn and discover our limits, it gives us stability, sturdiness, and detachment. It governs the ability to discriminate between right and wrong within us and gives us a witness state, helping us enjoy life while playing our role in tragedies and difficulties.
The Ajna chakra contains the ego and our conditionings, which form our character and sense of being. When the Ajna chakra opens, we perceive our spirit, establishing humility and the pure spirit within us. The dominant energy of the sun can make a person dominating, conceited, and egoistical. However, forgiveness dawns within us as we feel the pure spirit within everyone.
The seventh chakra governs emotions, instincts, and the mind, integrating the chakras within us and establishing a strong connection with cosmic energy. The moon, in astrology, represents the unconscious state of our character and the all-pervading power that encompasses the entire universe. A strong moon at birth makes a person sensitive, instinctive, creative, sacrificing, able to understand others, and spiritual. The moon also represents productivity, femininity, and developed feelings of motherhood.
In a birth chart with a dominant moon, the personality has a changing nature due to the constant energy it reflects and the ability to adapt.

Chris, please don’t ever feel bad about not pleasing everyone with this podcast. It is such a great benefit to the astro community to have these detailed in-depth discussions between two or three knowledgeable and erudite astrologers. What a gift to the rest of us! And when it’s 3.5 hours, that just means I get to enjoy it over multiple days. Wouldn’t miss an episode! Thank you for your dedication 🙏 👏
The serious and academic tone of the podcast is exactly why I love it. I wish there was more such astrology content out there, particularly on youtube. Good thing websites like buzzfeed are in no short supply, so those who don’t find the show appealing can find out what food they are based on their zodiac sign. 🙄😂
Please, don’t apologize for who you are Chris. Yes you are a Saturnian person and that’s totally fine. You’re doing a great job and if somebody doesn’t like it it’s not at all your fault, please don’t apologize. I felt terrible hearing that people shared those comments. They should just keep it to themselves. Just keep doing your job, it’s amazing and inspiring and we are greatful!
Can’t figure out who would dislike these articles on the Astrology Podcast. It is so hard to find anything on youtube that is as in depth and well curated as the content coming out of this website. If you don’t like it…maybe just don’t watch…why even dislike? Any who, bravo to the website and to Diana and Chris for this episode.
I have Saturn Rx in Pisces in the 10th, and Saturn is interacting with all but 2 placements in my chart – I am a professional tattoo artist so when Diana started talking about tattooing being very Saturnian, my vocation as well as the impact Saturn has on my chart made even more sense. I was looking forward to this particular episode and value it even more now. Thanks for all the hard work!
This episode is mind blowing 🤯! My Saturn placement is in a night chart and my Saturn return was an extremely difficult yet profoundly constructive time in my life. I got sick with an incurable illness according to traditional western medicine, came close to death multiple times. It prompted me to go to graduate school to study Chinese medicine and get my degree and certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine all the while figuring my path of healing. It was a hard, slow, painful, lonely, seemingly fatalistic, yet poetic journey. I came out of it. I got healed, I healed myself through this process and this podcast explains to me how and why. I knew the universe had a huge role in it. I think I’ve just found my religion. I want to know more… thank you for this 🙏🏼
Just now perusal this as Saturn stations direct. A week or so after Chris liked one of my tweets and followed me on Twitter, I find out he quotes me in the Saturn episode! My Saturn in Capricorn is nerding out right now!! 😍 My Saturn is in the 5th house, in a night chart, with the Neptune and Uranus co-presence of the late eighties/early nineties. Venus is there as well. It’s been rough to say the least. I feel an endless supply of creativity, but can’t seem to express it consistently. I jump from hobby to hobby, never feeling quite good enough or satisfied. I’ve also known I didn’t want children since I was a child myself. People kept telling me that would change as I got older. At 32, it still hasn’t. Also, there’s this constant feeling like people can’t/won’t/don’t have fun around me… like I’m a fun-killing machine lol.
As someone currently going through their Saturn return (6°, so it retrograded back to my exact natal position and then today stationed direct so it’s been a very interesting few weeks), I really appreciated the care and thoroughness with how this episode was presented. I’m becoming such a big fan of Diana as well, I hope to hear more of her on the podcast! Even putting aside my own selfish reasons, this has been my favorite episode of the planetary series. Thanks, y’all 💜
I’m learning more about Chris’ personality and nuance as I learn from what caught my attention, his deep passion and knowledge for astrology and it’s heritage and his need to ensure information is presented accurately and fairly. I owe so much to these podcasts, bringing me back to astrology after years and reminding me of this beautiful language! The original algorithm ❤
I have a 4th House Saturn in Scorpio opposite my 10th House Sun in Taurus, and for the longest time I never understood why I was so very private and adamant about professional relationships staying professional. I’ve always had very clear boundaries between work life and private life, and the older I’ve gotten, the finer my skills have become at protecting my time and making sure managers knew where the line was with me. I always figured that if I wanted a good career, I needed to keep my private life private and to always make sure I was being professional — and that others were being professional with me 🙂 I was also a very late bloomer and had a lot of difficulty expressing myself in younger years, but that has gotten so much easier the older I got.
So fantastic! Huge thank you for this episode and all that you have contributed to the astrologically interested community. @Chris, please do not take time to apologize (ever) to anyone who is complaining about the show- that is a waste of time. You have been a blessing and a wealth of information, there are an infinite amount of alternatives if one is looking for astrological ‘entertainment.’ ✌🏽 @Diane massive hearts to how you express astrology, I’d say it is your poetry but I think that sells it short. Whatever the right way to say it, how you say it resonates so completely🙏🏼Thank you 😊🥰✌🏽
Chris, you are an educator, the sharing of knowledge is what I am fascinated with. I consider you an astrology academic. The quiet presentation lets the information be the focus instead of ego. That is refreshing in the ‘influencer culture’ that appears to this fifty-something to be appearance over substance.
I’m literally right now in my 2nd Saturn return and he’s conjunct my Saturn currently! Simultaneously, I’m in a Jupiter return which is also conjunct with my Jupiter now! On 11/11, the Sun will join the party and be on my Scorpio ascendant! 😂 All big wows for me, as I experienced my Sadi Sati in 2015, so feel as though I’ve literally been a caterpillar to shedding to cocooning to black goo to transformation to rebirth, in these 6 years. Simultaneously with the Sadi Sati, Neptune transited the bottom of my chart where just about every planet and placements reside, ending with my sun. This all appears to culminate on 11/11 of this year, a big day for me, career wise. I’ve been fascinated by the study of my chart during these 6 years! Truly loving this conversation between you both! New to your website, subscribing! 😊🙏🏼💖
I’m always excited when I see a new podcast from you, but when I looked at 3 1/2 hours of Saturn, I figured I’d bail after the first hour or so. BUT I loved it! Watched it all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Chris and Diana, for a wonderful podcast. My Saturn is in Libra in the 5th along with the moon and Neptune. It hasn’t been pretty but eventually I just accepted it and moved forward. What else are you gonna do? 🙂
Love this episode! 💗 Diana Rose is great! 🙌🏽 Saturn at around 5 deg of Libra (8th) conjunct my asc lord Jupiter (also at 5deg). Saturn has a huge influence over who I am often tending to be a loner and an outsider. Have had severe battles with depression up until my 30’s. I still have issues with anxiety but now am studying social work hoping to support others with their struggles. And just to be contrary studying Hellenistic astrology (now through the Astrology school 😉) to use in this work 🙌🏽✨💗
You can’t please everyone! You have your own style, and it’s very good. Some people are looking for fun light hearted astrology, and that’s not you. Your load cast are very long, go very deep and analyse every aspect of the topic. Some people just do not realise how much knowledge, time and effort you need to produce a quality podcast like that. I’m very grateful for your work and for the fact that it is for free. You are very much appreciated.
Another great episode. I appreciate the slow and thorough approach to your articles. I have a Leo Saturn in 12H (conjunct Venus and Moon), which I always felt uncertain about, but after perusal this I realize I have a very productive Saturn. I do stop-motion animation, which requires a lot of time and patience to create puppets and stages, animate them frame by frame and to edit articles. One animation took me years to make but it was very satisfying. I find it easy to focus and slowly develop art projects in a way that most people I know would lose patience with.
So I listened to this episode while completing my mandatory HR compliance training, with the moon squaring my Saturn. A heavy day enriched by this great material! (I have Saturn conjunct Pluto in the 6th (I work as a counselor for sexual trauma), Square my Venus (my wife is 22 years my senior, and I have a hobby of Jewelry and Ceramics), Sextile my Sun (I do academic editing))
Diana Rose Harper, what a great guest, her astro language is a very living thing for her, deep and entangled in the all. Love it. Thank you. I have Saturn in Virgo conjunct North Node / 4th house night chart. I would say it has been very accurate. Many of my deepest lessons are in the home, with my two kids, managing my own inner critic and stepping up to manage the practical parts of life while always reshaping my space (Cancer Sun at 11.5 degrees).
Saturn in Taurus in the 6th house. I am loyal and reliable in reference to my work. I’m a little older, 51, so I have released the need to hold on to material things. I am financially conservative and I am always concerned about my Financial security. I have a tendency not to think through things as critically as I should, but I have a sister with a son/mercury in Virgo conjunction for that. Lol. I’m serious about my work. I’ve had to overcome daily obstacles of being legally blind in order to master my profession and other tasks. Always a Student!
As much as I love and appreciate this series, I spent half the episode fangirling over the newly unfurled leaf on Diana Rose’s monstera plant 🤩 The patience and consistency needed for tending to houseplants feels very Saturn/Venus or Saturn/Jupiter, so it was fun to learn that Diana has Saturn and Venus in the first house and their plant was in the article, too 🥰 I hope they come back, I love when they’re on!
Saturn has had a massive influence over relationships in my life. Saturn rules my 7th H and all of my romantic relationship timings correlate exactly to transit Saturn aspecting my natal Saturn. I have met and lost people important to me when transit Saturn was opposite, trining, squaring etc, my natal Saturn. Sadly Saturn always adds themes of restrictions too. Also, as a Leo rising I can see why so many Leo risings are drawn to you as an Aquarius rising, I appreciate your unique approach and thoroughness to astrology. The longer and more technical your podcasts are, the better ♄
2nd house: Saturn in Scorpio, 11 degrees from South Node also in Scorpio. In my Saturn return so many Saturnian times. I had HPV related high grade dysplasia and had several surgeries that also Psychologically impacted me and it felt like punishment from being “promiscuous”. When Saturn retrograded regression into Scorpio, I developed some recurring episodes of intense abdominal pain and it would last a couple of days. In my dreams, I would feel my pain which I identified as Poison or Venom. It turned out to be chronic appendicitis causing peritonitis, also needing surgery but was close to Sepsis.
This was so amazing Chris! Thank you to Diana too.. what a treat! I am the opposite of Diana, I was always told I was a Cap rising.. but have been delving into astrology more in the last two years (at the end of my 2nd Saturn return) and honestly think I’m really a Sag rising.. I really need a chart rectification because it’s driving me a bit crazy. I have Saturn in Capricorn, with Jupiter, and think I’m a 29 degrees Sag.. sigh.. one day I will get things rectified and know for sure.. Anyway!.. great content as usual. Thank you so much!
I’m a 24th degree Capricorn ascendant, so Saturn rules my chart. It’s settled snugly in my 5th house, squaring my Virgo sun in the 8th house. I’ve been through divorce and subsequent romantic struggles. I’ve always been the serious introspective type, and found it difficult to relax and enjoy life. Everything is a struggle, which wears on the soul. So many life lessons. Hopefully by my second Saturn return things will smooth out, and I’ll finally be introduced to my ordained life partner.
♋ Saturn 8h. I see many themes: I have an elderly granny and I’m late 40’s, she is agreat~great grandma. Through my mother’s line there is much inheritance (spiritual) and legacy, also longevity. My youngest/last child is Saturnian, their Arabic part in my chart is in Cap and I had them during my Saturn return, they are also Aqua Sun/Cap Mercury~Venus. Their birth was difficult and life changing, and it ended my ability to have more children. I see my greatest fear here too, 8h Saturn worries about my children. Saturn squares with Mars/Jupiter in ♈ and is relative to my Cancer Moon, though orb is wide (13°), progression brought it into conjunction with my Sun…I am a Saturnian mother, all my kids Moons deposit to Saturn. I see Saturn in a feminine way, as women/mothers were the ones who sustained our family most of the time. Boundaries and discipline are hard lessons for this Saturn, but it gets easier with time.
This was the most vibrationally pleasant article so far! Both your in depth explanations, back and forth, even the cadence and timbre of your voices complement each other very well!!! Would really like to have you two discourse on pretty much anything else astrological anytime!!! I guess in modern speech, one could say you two are ” a vibe”. 👏🏾
Chris, I want to share something with you about your Aquarius rising! Love the pod & been following since late 2019. Been interested in astrology since 2018, and at that time, The Astrology Podcast was too long, too dense, too far over my head, and yes, your way of speaking didn’t draw me in… but it’s because I wasn’t ready. Lon Milo Duquette said in an interview that Aleister Crowley’s bad reputation acts as a forcefield around the Thoth tarot deck. So does your perfect way of being protect this knowledge from people who are not ready to receive it. Blessings and thank you for all you do. <3
Dark night of the soul. Pretty sure my second Saturn return in Capricorn 2018-2019 I went threw. My dog of 12 yrs and ex spouse I loves for 22 yrs started dying at same time. Not sure ..but I kept walking like I was being pulled by God. But I was numb and not very responsive. I had amazing culture around me at church. I just kept volunteer to feed the hungry till covid. Then I was made to go home and deal with the pain. I still cry. No words can explain the loss.
I love Saturn and I LOVE Chris’ saturnian disposition. He’s wise enough to have incredible astrologers join him making the show flavorful and diverse. This will always be my ideal Astrology Podcast which is why he knew to call it THE Astrology Podcast. (Chris knows what’s up.) I have a day chart w/Scorpio Sun, Libra Moon Saturn ruling my 10th and 11th house w/ Saturn in the 8th house (ruled by Scorpio). My Saturn transits have been so evolutionary and have continued to bring me life-long gifts as long as I choose to learn and grow.
I have Saturn in Leo in my 5th House, Sun, Mars and Mercury square Saturn (85h house Scorpio Stellium), as well as Saturn Trine Neptune, Saturn Sextile Pluto. Saturn Sesquiquadrate MC. Learning my Saturn placement has helped me realize why I always feel responsible for others and feel that others may not be living up to their responsibilities. It also helped me realize that I need to focus on finding joy and allowing myself to have fun, even if all of the tasks for the day are not done. Adnd that I’m not responsible for “fixing” others or their lives, that’s their Saturn work 🙂On the positive side, I am very disciplined and am able to make changes that I need to easily. I have lots of will power which also comes with my Aries rising and Stellium in Scorpio/Scorpio Sun.
I have Saturn retrograde and in mutual detriment with Sun in the 10th house. My career and public life have been a nightmare for my whole life. I still work in an entry level position for minimum wage, at the age of 44. No matter how hard I try, I always end up the least respected and most maligned member of the group I am in at work. Obstacles come from nowhere and knock me down. I am going through the Saturn mahadasha from Vedic astrology (if you believe in that) and i’m really suffering from my Saturnian Karma. I always had the belief that consistent hard work would see me achieve recognition and progress, but I’ve read from various astrologers that due to my Saturn being retrograde, that does not apply and my Saturnian karma will never be resolved in this lifetime. Pretty depressing stuff.
I like what Diana said about the difference of fate and destiny. Saturn 1° in 1st Gemini receiving tight square from Moon 0° 10th, wide square Sun 23° 10th, with Jupiter 5° in 8th Capricorn… all therapists (and others) have told me my persistent achieving high goal setting outcomes don’t fit the checklist of potentials they would expect from someone with the unbelievably heavy trauma suitcase like I was given to carry around on my survival mission (which is definitely an obstacle course).
An interesting things about trees ‘losing’ their leaves … in fact, when a new leaf grows, at its attachment site is a perforated line. All leaves are born/grown to be ‘cut off’ one day. The process is called ‘abscission’ from the same root as scissors. “Did they jump or were they pushed?” They were pushed in order for the tree to survive, but not before nutrients are extracted. That’s why leaves change colour. Very Saturnian imo
Everything Diana says not only gives me a new way of thinking about astrological relationships in a surface-level way, but also the metaphoric “skin” that she gave these ideas (sometimes literally) also greatly enriched my understanding of the underlying dynamics and the complexities of these dynamics. I have a deep Saturn connection in my chart (ascendant ruler and ruler of my moon sign in a nighttime chart), and this was so enlightening!!
I love this!! I’m a Capricorn stellium, Saturn in Aries in a day chart. Been thinking a lot about Saturn’s exaltation in Libra, and it makes perfect sense when you think about justice and social harmony, which are key Libra themes. We need a common understanding of reality to build community and society, and when that social contract is breached, we need Saturnian justice to reset the scales. Saturn in Capricorn shook us because it showed us our failed social contract – people prioritizing their profit over collective health, all the ways people are drowning in fake news and there’s no common understanding of reality anymore, etc.
I think it’s wild that i am perusal the part where you talk about Limitations and Finality and i just saw Kelly’s Instagram stories about Adele’s new album entitled “30” and it’s the album she wrote in her Saturn Return period, she went through a divorce situation and her Saturn placement is in the 7th house!
As a dialectical materialist I can still say with an honest read of history, that the planetary qualities were the foundation for modern science and astronomy, using a sort of cognitive operating system that was essentially Pythagorean. I mean, it’s true that the point of Sagitarius’s arrow points to the center of the galaxy, the direction we’re all spiraling towards. Solid breakdown of the history of correspondences for my favorite planet, ya’ll.
What an amazing episode! Diana is awesome! Incredible discussion I really like that this podcast has tons of depth and is “serious”… I mean… maybe I just have a lot of water in my chart, but when an astrology article lacks “seriousness,” it’s just kinda boring. Like okay cool, you’re literally saying the same shit that everyone on this platform is saying. Why am I perusal this again? Astrology is extremely complex and touches all of life, if it isn’t dealt with that kind of gravitas at some point, you’re literally missing out on the good stuff. The discussion regarding Saturn and tattooing… I swear, this episode came at just the right timing. I’m not a Saturnian person per se, but I am going through my Saturn return in Pisces where I plan to get a tattooing apprenticeship. I also find tattooing a highly Saturnian thing for me, bordering on spiritual. I have gone through 80 hours of being tattooed and I see it as a sort of spiritual checkpoint or transcendent experience through the pain. I didn’t even know the skin was the Saturnian organ, but it makes sense! Loved this episode.
The serious is what I appreciate, here, and I can see it feeling boring, but that’s a cost of authenticity. YouTube is full of bubbly, love and light, me-centric astrology content. The Astrology Podcast deserves the name it got in early enough to claim. And Pluto in Aquarius will suit this style better. But now I want to know which reddit sub you were chatting in!
I’ve waited with Saturnian patience for this episode. Now so excited it’s out. I liked what Diana was saying about Saturn’s connection to water. One thought I had was that, in the ancient world, plumbing and irrigation systems were often built with lead. Lead of course is the traditional metal of Saturn. Sewer pipes and water mains form huge skeletal structure for human dwellings. From lead, we then also realize why Saturn rules those who work with hands like plumbers. Plumbing as a trade also brings in notions you discussed such as apprenticeship, mastery, learning from mistakes. Finally, water may be identified with Saturn as well because usually we experience water when its cold (rain, a river, the sea, etc).
Hah! I love your Saturnian dry nature Chris! Saturnian peeps take a minute for others to comprehend and fully appreciate. I bet if that reddit person kept perusal your cast eventually they’d latch on…! Diana is fab in this episode, please keep having her back. She’s amazeballs. Love your synergy together 🙂
Saturn r 23 21in Libra along with Neptune r 22 16 5th house. Pluto r 20 49 in Leo with Sun 16 23 3rd house. Uranus 14 51 in Cancer 1st house. I’m going to look at the Uranus debate with Rick Levine again, find the Neptune one and am eagerly awaiting your Pluto episode. Wonderful to see you both so intelligently discuss these topics with so much intuition and love. Thanks guys.
Saturn is a part of the kite in my chart. It is in my 4H in Pisces and opposes my Sun and Mercury in Virgo 10H. Chiron is in my 10H as well, so I hold such an admiration for people with discipline. Also it’s so brilliant to have astrologers talk about their chart rulers. I’ve been perusal this series since the moon episode and it’s so interesting to see the distinction in these individuals’ personalities.
This is insanely good and valuable! I feel so blessed to have access to this information and so grateful that you have shared it with us. Thank you so much. I only thought I was going to watch a bit, but I am finding everything that you guys are saying so valuable that I’m like ‘oh damn I think I’m going to watch this whole thing’ 😂. I’m Saturn dominant (Sun and Mars in Aquarius, Mercury and Jupiter in Capricorn and my Saturn return is coming up in Pisces soon). So I’m guessing that Saturn provided this information to me at the right time. Thank you again so much – I feel so blessed right now! 🤗
Been ABSOLUTELY loving these planetary deep dives! So greatful for these articles! 🪐I am a Sagittarius rising. However, in my chart using porphyry, Koch or placidus house systems. I have a Capricorn- Uranus, Neptune, BlackMoon Lilith & NN in the first. With Saturn 1* in Aquarius in the 2nd.🪐 91′ babies with that exalted Saturn.
I am a Sagittarius ascendant, while my best friend is a Capricorn ascendant, and perusal this gave me a really good insight into the Saturn ruled people! We are born about a month apart, making me a Gemini Sun and her a Leo Sun, and yet we both are like the two different sides of the same coin. I have Saturn in my 8th House while she has in her 7th House, and back in high school we actually signed a childish friendship contract 😂, and she has kept it so safe for years.
As with this series, I especially enjoyed this one. Can I say every next one is my favourite? also Chris, I appreciate the depth, detail, discussion, history and exploration. I find the time to listen to the articles in their entirety. I also appreciate you being exactly who you are 🙂 thank you so very much for these teachings and sharing.
Saturn in Taurus conjunct my ascendant. With Saturn ruling both my 9th and 10th house. Always learning stuff so my future is secure. Yep! I wear a lot of black and people often see me as very serious, they often can’t work me out. My boundaries are firmly in place, I’m not a hugger. I’m strict with constants and am always looking for the next mountain to climb. I’m a Capricorn. Uranus is transiting Taurus my ASC and I have an overwhelming urge to experiment with shrooms, I’d love to step outside my Saturn boundaries and just let go for once. I’m too sensible 🙄
I have a Saturn placement in my 7th house of Aries at 7degrees. Yes, Saturn has had an annoying effect on my 7th house topics. However I’m grateful to Saturn for making my naturally impulsive nature incredibly practical in terms of relationships. I may jump into relationships easily, but I have never been married, I insist on being in long term relationships before marriage because people change and if I want to do it, I’m only gonna do it once. I’m not starry eyed with my partners. And this has worked out for me in the long term. Being with someone for almost 5years, just for them to drastically change which causes a quick separation and me moving 800 miles back home taught me that Saturn has its value. And I’m thankful to Saturn.
I’m becoming a little obsessed with Saturn ha. I find these podcasts so so informative! Thanks. I have Saturn in cancer, on my DSC. It is square my Mars, Jupiter and Chiron in Aries but also Uranus in Libra. I’ve recently gone through Saturn across my Asc, followed by it transiting my aquarius moon (lost my dad), and then its opposition to my natal Venus. It is just about trining my sun now. I’m hoping to learn all I need to learn about Saturn!!
I love Saturn! But the real reason I love Saturn is because I need it. I am a chaotic Pisces with Aries rising, but have a moon in Virgo in the 6th house which changes everything — craving structure. My husband is a Scorpio, Moon in Taurus, Mars in Capricorn… as you can see I love a little conservativism in my life 😂😂✨
I’m so excited to be all caught up on this planets series! I’m a night chart and Saturn has me stumped. He’s conjunct with both my moon and my MC in 9H Aquarius, trine with Venus in 2H Cancer. I know Saturn slows things down, and the biggest manifestation of that is that I’ve been attending college on and off for over 10 years just trying to get a BFA. 😅
Recently new to your website and loving these valuable in depth reports on the planets especially. I’ve been reading books dedicated to single planets, but this adds another layer as reading can be sometimes a cumbersome way to digest large bodies of important information (but of course makes great reference material). I use True Sidereal which resonates the most with my life experiences. Aries Sun, Pisces Moon, Aquarius ASC. Saturn and Mars conjunct 4th house. Saturn as chart ruler makes more sense than Uranus for me and I had a EUREKA moment perusal this, that Saturn was connected with drowning (I won’t explain here why ☺), I’d always assumed that to be a water or Neptunian thing. Thank you for all that you do and share on this website. 🙏💜
Like your guest, Chris, Saturn is very prominent in my Chart (9/19/1950). In a tight conjuction in the 7th I have Sun, Saturn and Mercury with Venus also loosely conjoined inconjunct Jupiter rising in Aquarius. Oh, and my Moon is In Capricorn opposing Uranus and squaring Neptune. My entire live has been about mastering limits, developing patience and keeping a tight rein on myself, especially when I’m around others.
I think It might be relevant what the dignity of the planets are when we talk about them. If we were to talk about Jupiter in 2020 we would have, collectively, a completely different relationship to it than we would have, for example, in 2019, when it was in Sagittarius. I think Jupiter deserver another article when it gets back into pisces.
I have a day chart with Saturn at Aries 7 degrees, 10th house. Saturn rules my 7th (and co-rules 8th) and is part of a wide t-square with his ruler Mars rx in Libra and my chart ruler Moon in Cap. Saturn is also part of an exact configuration with IC/MC at 7 Virgo/Pisces and 7 degree N. node-Sun conjunction/S node in Taurus/Scorpio. Careerwise Saturn in the 10th has contributed to me being a career counsellor and having a PhD in career development and counselling. Saturn transits, including Saturn return and conjunct the moon, has not been that hard for me. Rather I expect working hard most of the time and that ‘authorites’/agencys regurarly engage in testing/challenging me. BTW, Saturn was part of my sudden interest in astrology. Around eclipse time in the autumn 2013, when transiting Saturn and N. node met close to my S.node (reverse nodal return), I clearly receieved a message from above/within: Learn astrology!!
Great information, enjoyed having an intelligent and informative talk to listen to during my recovery period at home. Saturn in Virgo at 29+ degrees in the third house of siblings, short trips and community. As I listen to the characteristics of Saturn, lots of life lessons due to my refusal to create structure in my life especially with finances, relationships and health. I have Mercury and Venus in the third house too; still learning the energies between them.
There’s this overwhelming amount of activism in the Philippines right now because it’s election season. A bit similar energy w/ the Trump vs Biden election months. Definitely a Saturn in Aquarius series of events. Most especially since one of the promising presidential candidate is known for her humanitarian work thru the years.
My Saturn Rx is placed in 11th house in Cancer in a night chart, trine Jupiter in Pisces in the 7th, opposing Mars in Capricorn in the 5th, and squaring Pluto Rx in Libra in the 2nd. Let’s just say that nearly all of my life I’ve been living with my parents in a country of their choice where they brought me on my first Saturn opposition (conjunct Mars, obviously). I miss my homeland to this day, and no effort to permanently return and start over have worked or paid off. I’m circumstancially childless, partly due to contraception that went wrong just before my 2nd Saturn opposition (conjunct Mars in the 5th, again). For all of 2021 so far I’ve been working as a grocery store assistant despite all of the education I received (due to a Sun group stellium in the 6th, I presume). Thank gods for Astrology Podcast where we can vent in the comment section )
I find the podcast anything but boring. And Chris, I love it when you find something so hilarious that it causes you to half smile 😆😆 Saturn in sag 2H in a night chart. Part of my 5 planet sag stellium – conjunct with mercury, copresent with sun, venus, Uranus, and in a sign-based sextile + mutual reception with Jupiter in Aquarius. Also in a sign based square with my Pisces moon. It’s been a roller coaster since my Saturn return, and no end in sight since it’s currently transiting my natal Jupiter, then will go on to transit my moon. I am 35 so thankfully I’ve reached Saturn maturity now – hoping the restrictions I’ve felt with regard to my finances will be lifted soon 🤞
I have Saturn Rx in Libra (3rd house) with Mars and Pluto. I have always been drawn to language; I can comfortably speak 3, but also know a 4th one well enough. I have a Linguistics degree. All of these positive aspects I attribute to Saturn being exalted in Libra. However, sharing this house with Mars (in fall) has given me a lot of trouble with communication, in that, I’ve been told I’m rude, come off as aggressive when I speak, don’t know how to talk to people etc. I can communicate well with people who are respectful, calm. Definitely cannot debate with anyone without getting anxious and sometimes angry. To add: Saturn exactly opposes my moon in Aries. I’ve always had a difficult relationship with my mother which has been getting better after her mother passed away and after I had a stroke which affected the area of me brain which deals with language (speech/hearing).
My Dark Knight of the soul was pretty jam packed with crazy astrology stuff happening to my natal chart. 2018 to 2019 was the darkest of the journey, I had Pluto exactly conjunct my natal Capricorn moon, and then Saturn came in to conjoin my natal saturnian moon at the same time, and then I experienced the eclipses in my 4th and 10th houses where my natal sun moon opposition lies, and then also uranus was transiting and stationing multiple times over my natal Saturn in Taurus conjunct my dsc. Lots of Saturn stuff, lots of deep personal moon/4th house/pluto stuff, lots of huge self/other pivotal points in my life. This period was marked by a deep depression, a huge break up, a spiritual awakening, a rediscovery of self, the beginning of the breaking of codependent patterns, etc. Was a crazy time period, heavily influenced by Saturn, which is significant in my chart on my dsc and ruling my moon. I had experiences relatively early in life (all before age 22) that made me see the power and influence of Saturn.
This bit about celebrities REALLY expressing their charts is so interesting to consider and makes me think about how that’s probably the best thing any of us can do in our lives… Just be really authentically ourselves since it’s really the ONLY thing we have to offer the world that no one else can. It’s the best we can do. 2:15:30
Super interesting. I discovered earlier this year that Saturn was the ruler of my rising sign (Aquarius) and learning about it has actually been very affirming. It explains a good deal of my personality and approach to life. I love structure and order, outlines and visual containers (my syllabi used to have perfect blocks of text on the page with plenty of white space). I’m drawn to tradition, classical beauty, fine things (art, music, food). Overall, I’ve experienced an abundance of the constructive Saturn qualities. I think it’s because I have a day chart w/ Saturn exalted in Libra conjunct both benefics. My Saturn is in the 8th house, but I’ve experienced that as being very good at processing my own difficult parts of life and being able to share the wisdom of that experience with others. I feel like I’m always advising people on how to navigate challenges and to get to the “other side” of things. My MC is in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter which is, again, conjunct Saturn. So I spent a good chunk of my career as a professor who taught courses to seniors and graduate students and doing academic advising as the director of graduate studies. So I was the literal gateway between students and the ending of their education (graduation) with the authority to make decisions about those endings. I also designed the exit exam for grad students. So I’ve helped people with endings in a lot of ways. And as you can tell from my screen name, I also have a Ph.D. So my own education was a Saturnian experience.
“Leo admiration is the pinnacle of what a lot of people desire, whereas Aquarian admiration is this person is so themselves there is no way they can be anyone else.” And I’m here, Leo rising, born at night with Moon in Aquarius, Sun in exact trine with Uranus, and a very loose Saturn opposition….most of my life a goth, now fusion bellydancer with dreadlocks. Check.
I have saturn in my 4th house of virgo with jupiter… Saturn loves to control my house. My saturn squares and return have been upheaval in my home. From loss of family members in the home to loss of home itself to an infestation in my home during my saturn return. And poor jupiter doesnt know what to do and ive never had a home that didnt have water problems whether it was bad plumbing or sewage leaks or toilets that dont flush. My 4th house is a real mess and a constant struggle…but it runs comfortable from within so more can i ask for.
8th house sandwich Scorpio Moon 24° Uranus 29° Saturn 9° Gemini. Opposite Venus 0° Sun 29° Scorpio Mercury 24° Scorpio Mars 3° Scorpio. Your commitments on the Saturn return… The first. You go into it. It strips parts of you off. Physical Community Work Career Relationships. I began reading during mine. Most of my clients came because their Saturn return was so uncomfortable they came to see me. Rick is an old friend. We all read together… In a group… Commenting on a shared chart. Can’t recommend the experience enuf. Don’t prune the group. The less controlled the better. Need a story I have a couple… Susan
Saturn is in my chart in this way: My ascendant is Capricorn, in a day chart, with Saturn conjunct Mercury in Virgo in the eighth house. I was an investigator for a detective agency in my youth, which I attribute to the aspect of Mercury conjunct Saturn. I had a hunger for investigating cases and got so much from my career in investigating! I also came close to death in an operating room during my 28th year Saturn return and lost my father at this time as well. What a horrible time this was for me!
At my birth Saturn was at 2 Aquarius, so I’ve been on a journey of really finding out what it means for me over the past year or so. However, I have always (and still today) feel a gentle excitement about getting older, I’ve always valued and admired maturity, and have often befriended people who are quite a bit older than me. (At age 10 I was friends with teenagers, at age 30 I am generally friends with people decades older than me.) I have been for the first time, though, connecting to youth in a mentorship capacity over the past few years through work and the local community theatre. Looking forward to perusal the episode tonight once the kids are in bed~ cheers, milo
So glad you guys arm touched on the positives of this malefic. My fiancé has Saturn in cancer at 29°. also in the 10th house. We know in astrology that cancer at the 29th degree is said to be the millionaires degree. I am hoping that his positive is to help others, just as you guys mentioned by writing a book, and it becoming a bestseller.
Virgo ascendant, Mercury (r) Leo, conjunct sun in Leo, conjunct Saturn in virgo 12th, 12th, 12th unless using whole sign with Saturn shifting to 1st. Slight chance of a quintile with MC, regardless it’s primarily characterized by Mercury which isn’t surprising. Regarding a mentioned Reddit criticism; I’ve gotten that related to writing and I’d say, on one hand, it’s a preference while saying on another that this episode is the 1st I’ll likely have to revisit because more “entertainment astrology” (just focus on explanation in an entertaining way) makes it blur with other planetary explanations. I’m focused on this podcast as a method to defrag many years of… contaminated interpretations(?). Can’t state better way to say it. I actually spent a long time wondering why my Saturn return was so nasty where I a cast made me actually look to find the Saturn return wasn’t anything that bad but a set of rough outer planet transits. My Saturn return was to realize my communication flow is better in writing among other things. I lean 12th because a big theme of that return was pushing things up into my conscious to deal with them so they didn’t indirectly hold me back. The retrograde should be noticeable by going out of order (lol), part of that Saturn return was trusting my intuition so I’m catching all of these by what my attention goes to. Saturn and astrology? The first time I actually looked at an astrology wheel I viewed it as a psyche model instinctively, so I found it amusing that when I decided to deep dive into astrology one last time to form an actual opinion/read I was drawn to the Venus episode where I ignored it for months not wanting to get pulled back in yet.
I have Saturn retrograde in Leo in the 2nd house in a day chart in a grand fire trine with my sun/venus conjunction in Aries and Neptune in Sagittarius. I tend to be fairly conservative with money. I don’t like to waste money on things I can get that have relatively the same value for cheaper. I will also tend to have no problem spending money on things I feel are valuable and I’m less inclined to spend money on things that immediately lose there value, or overpay for things that immediately lose their value (ie, food delivery, tickets to shows or sporting events vs. classes or items that can be kept or retain their value). I also have Saturn in a tight square with Uranus. Uranus was conjunct my Mars/MC conjunction in Pisces on my first Saturn return and will be trine that Mars/MC conjunction on my next saturn return (coincidentally the year I can retire from my job with full vesting). I also have Capricorn and Aquarius (Saturn ruled signs) in my 7th and 8th house, with Saturn in the 8th now. Closing in on the last hit of Saturn opposition in December 2021 with the last hit of Uranus opposition Jan 2022. A good example of the last year and a half could be summed up in this one idea: “How can I take all of the new changes I’ve made in my life and employ them, but still maintain the security and structure I’ve spent so much time establishing? There must be a way to make both work.” This article helped me understand Saturn so much, which is incredibly helpful and important since Saturn has been such an influence on me for my whole life, but especially the last year and a half.
I have Saturn in Capricorn in the 3rd house within a stellium. Still figuring out the 3H elements that should be echoing into experiences like my Saturn Return which ‘felt’ more 2H (or even 1H?), but that might be the 26th degree that it’s on… I feel like with having a stellium there which includes Neptune and Uranus, the whole energy gets pulled in so many directions that I don’t have enough clarity of what Saturn is doing over there.
Literally was taking about this tonight. Because the moon was between Jupiter and Saturn. And Jupiter was big a bright of course. And to see and really focus on Saturn with the naked eye you have to be patient, pause, and then you’ll see it once you have given yourself enough time to focus. And with it being so far away but still so close. Very much connected to ultimate bountiful energy.
Okay so I’ve been wrapping up my own saturn return and now going through a natal sun/natalMercury: Saturn transit. It honestly feels just as important. I have been listening to this episode slowly for that reason… Now this is the second time I’ve heard about The greatness of Saturn and just got it in the mail yesterday. I’ll let you know how depressed and harboring I feel when finished🎉🥳.
I have Saturn Rx in 11 th house. I grew up with a severe learning disability. I get discriminated often. Overlooked for things. I live in poverty, so many challenges. I have had to stand up for myself, but have to really know myself well. I have started a business, but Saturn has taught me my mistakes with relationships. How I am sometimes perceived.
Saturn in Cap in the 5th conjunct Neptune Trining Taurus Sun and Venus conjunct in the 9th. Ended up getting a BS in Game Design, but have been using my degree in obscure ways other than just Game Design. My job right now kinda goes in line with my bachelors since it’s IT related, but I’ve been using it more creatively, and not just in the way it was intended. I’ve been dealing with all sorts of creative ventures and things relating to fun with friends and family since my Saturn return (12/2017-12/2020) either due to feelings of initial obligation or a sense of responsibility. It also has felt like a sudden switch up from years prior due to Uranus being in the same sign. I’ve had multiple jobs in tandem with each other since I started working in 2012 until my Saturn return hit. I wasn’t scheduled at all at my second job to the point of leaving the job due to having the urge for more time in my life to be creative, and I’ve been working the one job ever since.
This was informative on the nature of Saturn, but could you consider doing a series on how to actually improve your lot on life if a certain planet is killing you? Like where is the hope if you have a bad Saturn? Why even try to develop self-discipline if he is just going to stomp on you and frustrate your efforts at every single turn for decades? Why go on, why try at work when he just seems to want to keep you small and humiliated. How do you please him? When does it end? I’ve been consciously trying to submit to Saturn’s lessons for about six years now- when do we get released from his prison? Like, for example, he always gives me one big speed bump near the end of every task at work, so I’m never done on time, and when I try and counteract that by starting early, same thing, I’m just working longer hours with that cruel surprise of something that doesn’t work at the end. So everyone just assumes I’ll be late, and people are starting to politely drop me off projects. Even something as simple as trying to leave the house on time for work- I’ve been trying to work on this for decades- get up earlier, put more clocks around the house, commit to something before work starts, and I still get delayed when leaving the house. What does he want from me? To lower my expectations in life so I’m happy just to have a job? I’ve been wanting to stab my eyes out with the insanely boring work I do for decades. Is there no reprieve? Like literally, what does he want from me, I’ve been twisting myself into knots trying to be patient and burn off this karma for years.
Dave Grohl comment – also his mom was always enormously supportive of Dave’s music. His parents split when he was six. She’s was a teacher according his show on amaz called Cradle to Stage which is excellent btw for doing chart research on other musicians, too, that he interviews along with their moms.
i listened to this today while on a hike. the moon is in sag, saturn is going direct, and a horse next to my hiking trail escaped the fence and some men covered in a blue substance they were spraying on the ground went running after trying to get the horse back in the fence with the rest of it’s pack. so yeah. thought you guys would find that amusing.
Saturn in Scorpio in the 4th in a T-sq with Mars, Pluto in 10th and 1st. Very challenging family responsibilities that are not overtly mine but I pick up the pieces when others make immature, selfish decisions, like having children without having the means to take care of them. I can’t stand to see child neglect because I experienced some in my own childhood.
I was really looking forward to this one. Capricorn Asc night chart with both a stellium in Capricorn (Moon, Venus rx, Mercury triple conjuct with Neptune sitting on the side) and a stellium in Aquarius (Jupiter, Sun, Uranus). I’ve been really trying to understand Saturn for me, I still have a bit til my return, it’s in the 4th house(Aries) squaring the conjuction in the first. So much insight from these two that is so greatly appreciated.
Diana brings up burlap sacks as tunics while talking about Saturn which i find fascinating because ancient Israelites in the old testament would wear burlap (goat hair) sacks as tunics, shave their heads, and would pour ashes on their heads to ask forgiveness from God. a sign of submission, repentance, humiliation, and grievance. Very Saturnian 24:42
Just had to say something about the reference to the ancient Mesopotamian belief of the stars lining up in cancer and the world ending in fire, and water in they’re in Capricorn. This is amazing to me because in Chinese astrology, Cancer equates to the sheep, and it is called the grave of fire (it’s the last of the fire season signs), and Capricorn is the ox which is called the grave of water (it’s the last of the water season signs). It was thought to be called these things because these signs are of the transitionary Earth element and are the last of their respective elemental/seasonal signs. But maybe there’s more to it than that.
saturn in capricorn in the ninth, conjunct MC. my second saturn return was during the pluto/saturn conjunction with pluto sitting on my saturn for the last couple of years. holy heaviness batman! pared down, refocused, much more self reliant but it has taken time and crushing to get there. kind of like a diamond, right?!
I feel you should add 5th house placements to that list. Dated an Aquarius for majority of my twenties that was 11 years older than me. Aquarius is my 5th house with Saturn snack dab right in there. Broke up with him at 29 around Saturn return. That relationship had SO many Saturn aspects not going to get into it. Just venting. Thanks Chris
I related to most all the Saturnian negative illnesses I have Saturn Conjunct my sun square my Moon in Gemini breathing problems and chest infection asthma and copd its just started to kick off now I am 72 years and I am now also having problems with my GP and Social Services this makes my life even harder now. I am in a wheelchair 24/7 I have Saturn in my second house in Virgo I have Leo Ascendant and my sun is in Leo I was put up for adoption age 7 but I didn’t get adopted my parents split up when I was in hospital in a iron lung I nearly died I remember seeing while I was in the iron lung a long dark tunnel then a big bright light at the end of it and I said to myself age 2 I am not going to have much of a life and my parents have split up I got polio age 2, from the hospital I went to live in a school for disabled children my parents were not supportive of me I had 2 major operations on my spine 1 age 10 and 1 age 14 I nearly died from the second one I got a bravery badge for always being happy in the hospital I left school age 16 and I had to go it alone without any family support my life has been very hard. But I hope whatever aspect or aspects are triggering my Saturn Conjunct my sun and square my Moon in Gemini will soon pass 😀 Thank so very much for this Saturn podcast and all your other podcasts phew my typing this has not been easy I have Neptune in my third house 😀
