Is The Amulet Of Glarial Protective Against Arma?

Players can enter Glarial’s Tomb by using her pebble and not having any armor, weapons, or runes in their inventory. The moss guardians in the tomb are also present. Players can obtain more than one amulet through the drop trick. Glarial’s amulet is identical to the gnome amulet and is not allowed into the tomb. Armour, weapons, pouches, or runes are not allowed.

The amulet is found in her tomb, just north-west of the fishing guild. To access her tomb, players must use Glarial’s pebble on the tombstone with no weapons or pouches. The chest in Glarial’s Tomb can be opened and searched for, allowing them to access the Waterfall Dungeon during the quest.

After the quest is completed, players can safely discard the amulet. The quest requires partial completion of the Waterfall Quest and finding it inside the chest at the west end of Glarial’s Tomb. The amulet is not required to enter the cave after an update, and players can compare any two OSRS items in real-time.

In addition to the amulet, players can also obtain other items like Gnome Emerald Amulet of protection, magic golden feather, Swamp Tar, Uncooked Swamp Paste, and more. These items are essential for completing the quest and enhancing their combat abilities against fire giants.

  • Had no luck with mine on level 100 necro. I got 703 sacred level. lowest hp roll when upgraded +378 max life summoning skill which is useless for my build and healing received also useless… so YMMV with getting god tier or just trash. The quest line was fun though, fighting Andariel without needing to pop poison pots was different. 🙂

  • Thank you for putting this article out. I had to make sure that I didnt do it at my current level or its available to me and yes, I have the quest available. Im going to wait until I hit max level before doing the quest and Ill make sure that I can do it at the max world tier. being a pulverize druid, that health will make me even more tankier than before.

  • Nice find, but as awesome as a 2k hp roll is, cos it really is, unfortunately that’s probably not gonna cut it beyond lvl 70 nightmares. Definitely a great placeholder until you get a proper 4 stat legendary/rare with a Armor % + DR % combo or any other variety of rolls. 2k hp just doesn’t make up for having 1 less attribute, amulets can roll not only all the dr related attributes, they can also roll passives in multiple attribute slots, which in many cases can be hugely more valuable than +X to skills because passives tend to be multiplicative. There are just far better slots to get hp from than the amulet slot.

  • As you mentioned there are unique spawns you can target farm for gear. IMO it is a currently under-explored place for character progression and along with unique drops like this could help players transition into new world tiers more efficiently. The unique spawn I’m camping atm is a demon on the northwest coast that always drops a 2h sword and given the implicit stats and increased item level is going to be a big boost to my build any time I can kill him in a new World Tier.

  • Really cool info! Thanks! I hope they don’t nerf it. I love items like this, and Grim Dawn started it (AFAIK) with Monster Infrequents, which were also retrofitted into Titan Quest. These are rare magic items that only drop from certain monsters and have really cool build defining abilities that are often better than the “best” items in the game, if you’re making that specific build.

  • That is a strong amulet and would help out my temerity barrier, but I couldn’t give up the one I found for my rogue. I got a cracked amulet with +3 to agility skills, +3 ranks of malice passive, 12.9% ( max is 14.6) cooldown reduction, and 23.7% (max roll) energy cost reduction. 1.7% from being a God roll for me

  • Well now I have a question. I am lvl 63 Necro T3. I have spent (I forgot to check my toons hours) but well, since day one launch, and I have done all the acts, all the zones, unlocked all the map, all the altars, randomly take Side Quests as I see the Blue Exclamation point icon, but after perusal this article, I honestly have no clue on if I did this or not. Is there, anyway, you could share a little more detail. Like when did you find this quest, what lvl, what Tier, or when would this quest me active for players. That would cool to know. Well worst can scenario is I already did it on my Necro and I am SOL on this toon. But can do it on another character. I am going to start having to save articles in a “Watch before doing Character number 2” LOL Thanks Sunglasses guy LOL Be Well

  • It’s a dogshit useless item. I threw it away as soon as I got it. It has 3 stats. all the other neckless in game got 4. 1000 Hp is good. But you could get like a flat 15 % damage reduction and 15% damage or like 20 % damage reduction while fortified or 25 % less damage from close etc. Those are way more effective Hp. Also healing received is another dogshit stat, don’t know which build even takes that. Even if this one could be 1000 item level I wouldn’t use it. It’s just a blue item disguised as yellow. Trap item. Avoid it at all cost.

  • My freaking quest bug at Andariel when I had to kill her and its been bugued since the past 2 weeks now and Blizzard is aware of that and they never changed my situation so I’m stuck without this amulet which is kinda the reason why I uninstalled the game when I saw that Blizzard just didn’t care at all. 2 weeks, no answer on a bug on a good side quests.

  • All these rares are garbage, they always have 1 less stats, for example this amulet instead of 4 it only has 3. Not to mention that it can’t roll cooldown reduction by default you have to reroll it. Any amulet without CDR is worthless (some niece builds are probably out there that scales with resource cost reduction instead)

  • Been hunting unique monsters since the betas when I got The Darkblade. Sadly, Blizzard changed the transmog of Darkblade. Also, sadly most of these unique rares dont have transmogs. Apart from The Darkblade and the Broodmothers Stinger from the giant scorpion. If anyone has found more unique transmog drops from these rare spawns post em below please!.

  • I just found this amulet at level 100 before I watched this article. I noticed the bonus life on it and it rolled with bonus movement speed from killing elites which I need for speed farming my last few renown. I equipped the aspect for my rogue on the amulet that boosts my movement speed everytime I crit and I’m zipping through dungeons like never before. My pentinent greaves also helps give me a crazy speed boost after I evade. It feels great.

  • I saw a clip where a guy showed 15 or 16 of the “super rare” mobs and the “super rare” items they dropped… like this here. With unique stat combinations. Well… anyway. The other guy said… that theses super rare items can roll as high as power lvl 830+. And he actually showed one in game. A lvl 100 item with power lvl 831. So… that might be the thing with theses “super rare” yellows…. they might have only 3 affixes… but HEY… they have potential to be best in slot? Ah well… just wanted to tell you taht… 830 + 25 upgrade?… that can be pretty high stats.

  • Fake news. While the life is “nice” cooldown reduction and resource cost reduction are much more important. I suppose in theory you could roll 2500 life, max cooldown reduction max resource cost reduction but GL with that. Im happy with my amulet, max roll cooldown, 95% to max for resource cost reduction 90% max roll + armor and 3 ranks of a passive. I get enough life from helm/legs/rings.

  • Not only this quest, all the other rare monsters on the map can be farmed for these items as well and there are plenty. Not sure if it was sarcasm or not, but for anyone wondering: no this items are absolutely not as good as he is advertising it. Yes they can roll higher, but they’re also missing their 4th stat. Def. good optiins for leveling and short term upgrade, but nowhere near BiS for endgame

  • Its not even that good. Sure having 2k life sounds good but then that amulet looks like it only has 3 rolls so your wasting 1 slot already. Also rerolls start to cost in the millions if you end up getting shitty stats. You can just get life on pants and helmet. If you want more, you can also get life on rings which i have 1 and it has 994 out if the max 1044. Resource Cost Reduction and Cooldown Reduction, Total Armor, Damage Reduction are all rolls you want on a amulet. You can also get +3 to specific passives. Barbarian can also get 3+ to all Defensive Skills which i have, im guessing there also some for other classes based on the Rolls on the Rogues amulet in the article.

  • It’s funny to find a article on this item when I found it just earlier today. However im a lvl 54 rouge and I was screwing around on WT1 unlocking a few last altars when I came across the quest chain and got pulled in due to the mother being such a bitch. 😆 In any case the item rolled for me was a total bird turd and I hooked it asap. I did note that it gave actual life on it, but didn’t think much of it as the boost was in the 250 range. And my current amulet is really good for my build (traps/caltrops stuff). Too bad so sad, maybe I’ll give it another go on another character later 😆

  • I mean. Its just hp. I put on my rogue hp regen per mobs around me and per core skills use. I basically get 500 hp per sec since my lvl 57 or so to now 66. Playing between t3 and t4 for some challenging dgs. Using this with barrier ea 30 sec on dmg on an elite. Im basically never dying. Playing twisting blades shadow and poison imbuements with dash using clone ulti. I make a carnage. All my gear enhance those skills .

  • Do never upgrade these quest items or even waste an aspect on it. This is really bad advice. They are subpar items with only 3 suffixes which means you are wasting gold and resources on those subpar quest items. You generally want to look at the priority stats for your class/build in icy-veins, maxroll or wowhead and then look for rares that have those. the items you may want to imprint an aspect, upgrade or even re-roll will have 4 stats (weapons do have a 5th stat which is the weapon type stat), with legendaries and uniques having the 5th stat which is the legendary aspect / unique bonus.

  • any bone spear users have an opinion on attack speed? Have some gloves with a capped roll but it doesn’t appear to do anything? Even my stats tab doesnt show anything changing when the literal description of weapon power states attack speed is a factor….if it’s useless like I think then i’d rather re-roll for crit chance or essence lucky hit

  • I did this and pretty sure i threw this on the ground i did not get lucky enough for it to have any beneifical stats on it for a barb. My current amulet has 3 to defensive skills cooldown resuction and fury cost reduction. I cant remember exactly what it spawned with but it was a super low roll and i did it at like level 89-91. But i xannot remember exactly what the stats were. If you dont get luxky enough to getva plus 3 to some skills on one roll then you wont get an amulet close to as badass as that rogue one. I really wish i would have waited until 100 to do my sidequests and renown now

  • Level to 100 then do this quest. also i hope people know there is what seems to be another breakpoint at item power 820 the max achievable item power in a normal drops. with the added info that it seems like these unique rares with 3 stats seem to have a cap of 860 item power compared to the normal 820 allowing you to get higher rolls on stats with indefinite scaling like the base character stats dex, int, will, str and / or max life.

  • You are right that “Maximum Life” can’t roll on amulet, but you’re wrong that “no other items can spawn with life as high” – I have a ring with +1600 life and it’s only level 83 – I’ll gladly send you a screenshot. While it might not be quite as high, it’s high enough on rings to really negate how “special” this necklace is. Given most heavy hitting endgame builds favor fortify/barrier over raw life, I wouldn’t roll with a +life item after level 65ish anyway. My armor and damage reduction means I never die with ~5K health and I’ve done everything in Tier 4 except Lilith Echo – haven’t even attempted it yet, but I don’t see 2k life making a difference at the expense of other necklace stats.
