Is Witchcraft A Type Of Manipulation?

Manipulation is a form of rebellion that involves the manipulation of people, times, objects, situations, and outcomes. It is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form, and it is a form of oppression and idolatry that are satanic and destructive. Witchcraft is a counterfeit spiritual authority that uses a spirit other than the Holy Spirit to dominate, manipulate, or control others. It can involve communication with demonic spirits impersonating the dead and can be seen as a method of explaining causation and healing or avoiding social rifts.

Manipulation is not even a spiritual force, but rather a form of controlling someone to get what they want. The word “coven” (a gathering of witches) is derived from the same root as covenant. There are four main objectives of witchcraft: to propitiate a higher power, propitiate a higher life, and propitiate a higher power.

Manipulation is a form of control that operates from the flesh and is contrary to the ways and will of God. It is important to avoid using the information in this article to seek out witches under every rock, but rather to look for the practice of witchcraft in your own life. Most witches do not charge to cast spells and pass their knowledge on to others.

In conclusion, manipulation is an often overlooked form of witchcraft that involves the manipulation of energy and the power to control others. It is essential to resist the temptation to engage in witchcraft and instead look for the practice of witchcraft in one’s own life.

Is manipulation a form of deception?

Manipulation is the art and science of persuading someone to buy something, but it is not the same as deception. Manipulation involves pulling persuasion levers to encourage someone to act in their best interest, moving them from “interested” to “must have this now!” In sales, it takes someone from “consideration” to “purchase”. Mastering manipulation can be beneficial, as it helps encourage action and takes people from “interested” to “must have this now!”.

Why is manipulation bad?

Influence is a neutral term that refers to a person’s ability to influence another person, allowing them to move or sway them towards a desired action. Manipulation, on the other hand, has negative connotations, including devious behaviors designed to exploit and control others. It involves using emotional and psychological tactics to change someone’s perception or behavior in an underhanded, deceptive, or abusive way. Manipulators may use tactics such as overt criticism, praise, and constant comparison to an “ideal” type to cast self-doubt, or make individuals feel inadequate and push them to do things their way.

To protect oneself from manipulators, it is essential to observe behavioral patterns that make you uncomfortable and take them as an emotional cue to stop, deliberate, and rethink your relationship with that person. For example, if you are confused or annoyed by someone’s behavior, take it as an emotional cue to stop, deliberate, and rethink your relationship with that person.

Are manipulators evil?

Manipulation, a skill often viewed negatively, can be used to motivate others towards achieving goals or adopting healthy behavior. However, when used to coerce others, it can become unhealthy and even dangerous. Manipulation is present in various aspects of society, such as advertisements, social media, and natural interactions with the environment. It can also be used to create positive interactions, such as using common interests to get to know someone new or pointing out positive traits to build self-confidence.

The potential benefits of using manipulation as a form of persuasion are endless. It can open up opinions, problem-solve common issues, and influence compromise when there is no clear-cut solution. Parents often use positive manipulation to influence behavioral outcomes in their children, while employers and those in positions of authority use similar tactics to incite change and motivate others towards their desired outcomes. However, when used in a hostile and coercive manner, manipulation can become harmful and hostile in certain situations.

Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) is a psychological disorder where individuals may appear charming but have a goal to control or harm them. This can manifest in various ways, such as persistent attention, love, flattery, time pressure, incongruence between words and actions, and feelings of guilt or shame. Manipulation can come in various forms, such as coercive control, emotional blackmail, gaslighting, guilt-tripping, isolation, lying, love-bombing, passive aggression, projection, silent treatment, smear campaigns, triangulation, and triggering insecurities.

The main goal of all types of manipulation is likely to be a sense of power, control, or resources. These individuals may take charge of their schedule, money, or connections, change the rules, emotional blackmail, gaslighting, guilt-tripping, isolation, lying, love-bombing, passive aggression, projection, silent treatment, smear campaigns, triangulation, and triggering insecurities.

Manipulators often manipulate others to achieve their goals, protect their ego, and avoid responsibility for their actions. They may seek pity, attention, or other selfish motives, or try to change or wear down a partner to meet their own needs. These individuals may come from dysfunctional families, where they had to manipulate to meet basic needs or avoid harsh punishment. They may have been emotionally manipulated by their parents and learned how to interact with others through observation and experience. Overall, manipulative behavior is a common issue in relationships.

What is a spiritual manipulation?

Spiritual manipulation is defined as the use of scripture or beliefs by a leader to humiliate or embarrass an individual, forcing them to perform tasks for the leader, giving resources they do not want, or forcing them into an intimate relationship. Such actions can result in feelings of pressure or obligation to perform tasks against one’s will, as evidenced by the experience of an individual in a personal relationship.

The conversation begins with the person expressing their frustration and wanting to discuss their situation. Understanding the difference between influence and manipulation is crucial for maintaining a healthy and productive relationship.

Are manipulators born or made?

Most personalities are a combination of genetic factors, childhood environment, and innate personality traits. Manipulators may be born with a propensity for being manipulative, often due to a childhood environment where abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and alcohol addiction were prevalent. As a child grows up, these behaviors become more ingrained and hardwired. However, not all manipulators come from good, solid, and secure backgrounds.

Some have an insecure attachment and are manipulative, learning it as a coping skill to meet their needs. It is crucial to recognize that manipulative behavior can be a part of a person’s personality and development.

Is manipulation a form of trauma?

Emotional manipulation is a complex issue resulting from trauma or abuse, often resulting in further trauma for both the manipulator and victim. Manipulation is a psychological term that refers to an action designed to influence or control another, often in an underhanded or unfair manner, facilitating one’s personal aims. It can involve methods such as seduction, suggestion, coercion, and blackmail to induce submission. Manipulation is generally considered a dishonest form of social influence, as it is used at the expense of others. • So timely, our daughter just got married Friday evening, thank you Jesus! Such a beautiful time. The Lord will reveal things to us, if we pray! Long story short… enmeshment, he ( our now son-in-law) was able to break away enough from his mothers control and manipulation of him to marry our daughter, but not without physical consequence’s. He told my daughter he was emotional for 2 weeks before the wedding, just a few days before the wedding he started vomiting and had diarrhea and barely made it through. The day after the wedding his family and our family were at the church to do clean up, his mother ask if we were taking things over to ( our daughter and sons-in-laws) their house, I said yes we were and she said in a snide voice ” good because I’m not going over there”. That told me everything I needed to know, I had already figured out that she was more than likely the reason why neither one of her children had ever married ( our son in law is 42, his sister 40. I think that the guilt he had over marrying and the spiritual, emotional and phycological effects of what he was going through at that time, made him physically sick. So sad, he is a great guy and he and our daughter both love the Lord with all their hearts. They will have to work at getting this resolved, so that she cannot have a negative effect on their marriage. Thank you again Lord and thank you Nelson, this word was quite timely.

  • Thank you Nelson. Someone did something I perceived was against me and I was just conspiring in my head a way to make them feel guilty. Didn’t even really realize I was doing it til I saw this title! Luckily I didn’t do anything yet and I will now rebuke and repent from that spirit. Going to definitely not follow the pattern of what I’ve been in all my life which is how my mom treated me. Thank you Nelson!

  • Guilt & fear mongering is a real thing and it will infantilise, stunt and delay a person’s path that God has planned for them. When we people please we are choosing to fear man, not God. A parent imposing their wants and will on their child (regardless of age) is putting themselves as God (making themselves an idol to their child) and causing their child spiritual blockage and delay, to fall and fail their assignment and to miss out on God’s plan and blessings for their lives. Usually these parents are emotionally immature, full of ego and pride and are unknowingly working for the devil to cause spiritual warfare in their children and direct opposition to God which leads to curses and causes God to wipe you, the dust, off His feet. When these parents are so called bible believing Christians that use this to put fear into their children, their offspring can inherit generational curses; not the blessings, due to their parents disobedience, pride and rebellion. Guilt & fear mongering can also cause unnessasary anxiety & depression to form in the child as they wrestle with pleasing their parents and doing what they/God feels is right for their life according to Gods plan, as a result of demonic control and manipulation tactics that condition a child to go against themselves by causing self doubt, self sacrifice and self abandonment leading to them not knowing who they are and their identity in Christ because the parent is controlling them and limiting their beliefs and value of themselves as the use punishmen/reward tactics to control and manipulate that can be transferred outwards to all other relationships and leave them prey to narcissitic/parasitic/jezebellic personalities as the very nature of those types of people/demons target and capitalise on those that don’t know themselves or their worth.

  • Hallelujah Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot, God bless you all my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that in this time and age of trials and tribulations, that you and your family and friends are abundantly and richly blessed throughout this year and all the years yet to come. In the mighty name of the Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ I pray, Amen and Hallelujah.

  • I have really hard time disciplining my kids because, we are very open & sometimes I feel like they are gone out of their way .. we are too equal they seems to forget that I am their mother .. I felt not being honored or respected. But I don’t want God to punished my kids so, I pray to God to forgive them &, guide me how to deal w/ them properly . and God is good .. I felt comforted Everytime I pray. Thank you God.

  • Derek Prince did an amazing sermon that compliments this one: How Demons Gain Entry Into A Person: Here are the 8 entry points Derek Prince gives: 1. Occult background (Tarot cards for example). 2. Personal occult background 3. Prenatal influence 4. Solid domination 5. Early childhood pressure (any form of abuse, e.g. verbal, physical, sexual) 6. Moment or place of weakness 7. Disappointment (constant, or a major source of overwhelming disappoint). 8. Physical weakness (in some cases a birth with a disability can attract curses). I recommend the book He Came to Set the Captives Free by Dr. Rebecca Brown for further study

  • God is faithful and He has me though near death experiences, suicide attempts and mental illness. He revealed the Truth that could only been revealed by God because it was miraculous. He gave me a choice to follow Him or follow sexual immorality. Because of His love, grace and mercy I chose Jesus’ way of redemption. By taking all the experiences people involved and all situations and placed it at the foot of the cross and let the blood of Jesus cover all of it. I also asked forgiveness and forgiveness of all situations and persons. I believed God’s word that the situation would be totally forgiven and white as snow. At that moment I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit richly. My automatic response was praise and adoration to the one and only True God. All praise and glory to Him. Thank you for continuing to share God’s word via Derrick Prince and his wife.

  • If anyone isn’t truly living a life of pure truth in word, deed, and speech. Living in true transparency you’re not in alignment with the creator who is pure truth and you can not bring deliverance. One fully true, genuine to the core, being is so rare..id cry just to see even one. Wishing I could be one. One who over comes the pull of the body’s demands, and lives instead according to something higher.

  • I bought tarot cards a few years ago. I took the pack to my bedroom to try one night, but fell asleep instead (clear wrapping still around the cards). Around 3am, my treadmill turned on and the baby monitor in my room reset itself. Never had that happened before. I got the cards out immediately. These things aren’t just toys. And I knew that. I knew better.

  • Good morning dear souls. I thank The Lord God Almighty for men and women of God who preach the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Prince reminds me of my Pastor Apostle Elizabeth Alston of St. John Deliverance Tabernacle in Nyack N.Y. who is now asleep in The Lord. We must understand satan’s character and this precious man of God makes it so clear. Psychology says this at that but the root is man’s rebellious nature against God, and satan’s rebellious nature working with man’s sinful nature. We can’t be weak when coming against satan’ s kingdom. Satan came to Jesus to manipulate him so you know he is coming after us.

  • In Deuteronomy 4 and again in 28 The LORD God through Moses proclaims blessing & curses and also prophecized the release of the curses at the end of days. When you talk about encountering people who have been bound by curses passed down through generations – automatically I must draw a correlation here. Those who return to hear and uphold the word of YHVH our God and Yeshua Meshiach will be redeemed and healed.

  • Very good teacher of the Word. I like Lester Summerall’s teaching also. All forms of witchcraft, like being a “white witch”, or the burning of sage to clear a premise of bad spirits, negative thoughts, etc, is witchcraft. Control and manipulation is as the sin of witchcraft. Like this fellow teaches, “to make people do things” Fruits of the Spirit are a required coarse, not elective, and opposite of witchcraft.

  • It is incredible that during these days we are living in all this wonderful information telling the world what we’ve been dealing with is being exposed to the LIGHT. May God bless protect and guide us from THEM as we fulfill our lifes MISSIONS I pray Amen Read your Bible Revelation tells us everything. THE TRUTH IS GOING TO SET US ALL FREE!

  • Not just church pastors and priests, but lay persons who want you to know something in the name of God (themselves) manipulate or intimidate, dominated by their selfish desire to convince you that you know what is best. It’s gaslighting. I forgive others since my innocence as a minor and in all churches from different branches of this deed against me. And I ask forgiveness to my family members of using self will witxhxrafx to convince others, I repent for this. In Jesus’ name. Thank you Holy Spirit, for leading me to the article. Let’s practice self-control and trust the word of God and the guidance of Holy Spirit, the blood of Jesus over this petition. The truth will set us free.

  • So many ideas and opinions when it comes to words like “witchcraft”. It’s quite interesting, though perhaps not as deserving of the interest poured into it by so many as it seems to be. I, too, know a thing or two about “witchcraft”, first among which is the understanding that there are as many different conceptions of witchcraft as their are human cultures. Some differ greatly, some very subtly, but just about all of them differ. The “craft” part of the word refers to magic, which in contemporary Western thought has its basis in the so-called “royal arts” that have been called upon by many European nobles from the final years of the Medieval period, though those of the Renaissance and Enlightenment, and even now it’s not at all uncommon for a person possessed of some degree or another of geopolitical power to call upon the advice of astrologers and other such mystically-inclined people. In Eastern though, however, one finds the whole concept somewhat different to that. That’s all to say nothing at all of the various shamanic traditions extant in various parts of the world. Where I live, for instance, in South Africa, witchcraft is seen by the majority of civilians as something very real and is loved and hated in by different groups of people in almost equal measure. But it always has a significant attributed deal of of respect accorded to it. My grandmother on my mother’s side of the family was particularly witchy. It was largely through her influence and the influence of the world in general – all of the obvious corruption and disinformation sewn into the fabric of just about all popular media and followed without question by huge swathes of human beings around me – that I myself began to study the various magical or to use in notorious Aleister Crowley’s spelling of the word, that is “magick” (his way of clearly distinguishing it from stage magic for public entertainment) magickal systems and techniques that about within every culture and are not at all foreign to the three Middle-Eastern religions born of the first historically-noted dualistic religion born in that part of the world, that being Zaroastianism.

  • Amen, I’d like to ask for prayer request. I am under spiritual attack. Also, I believe that someone I know has casted a spell on me. This person knows I’m a Christian and the moment she found out that I am a Christian, she started being cold and unkind towards me and goes out of her way to publicly blaspheme the Lord, especially in front of me. I know I might sound crazy, but I haven’t been feeling like myself. She has told me many things that are red flags and many people have pointed out her behavior towards me without really putting any mind to it. It wasn’t until now that I feel spiritually in a rut and my mom mentioned the possibility of under a spell by this woman. Please, pray for me and with me to Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Christian Family ❤️🙏

  • Oh the joy when King Jesus Christ returns! Emanuel will lead us into battle to kill the Serpent and his cowardly horde! I pray God Almighty allows me into to battle, I have a few specific demons I’d like to mow down personally!! Praise King Jesus Christ! Praise You Jehovah!!! We stand by to fight Father, and we will continue to stand!

  • 1 Samuel 15:22-23 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice📖 of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

  • My father-in-law helped destroy our marriage by witchcraft, constantly undermining me and even looking at me, “reading my mind”, then inventing lies saying, what he thought I was thinking and spreading ‘this truth’ throughout our church. Wives honouring husband, not when under their father’s domination. 😢

  • It’s tricky and it’s virtually everywhere and coming at you all the time through people, vices, and devices. I started picking up on it some years ago. The root of it is as simple as suggestion, outside of God’s intent. People think it takes ouiji boards and all the hocus pocus but simple gossip or slander is “spell” work. That’s why they call it spelling. I’m much more mindful of what I say to others today and keep my comments limited to speaking out against divine intent. I usually cut highly suggestive people out of my life if they don’t heed my warnings about it and I do give them. I don’t play games with people about it.
