When my mom wasn’t home I would put LAL on our big all-in-one stereo console at FULL VOLUME and make my neighbors suffer!!!! There is no “punk rock” band that could even carry the guitar cases of The Who….The Alpha Males of live rock!!!!
now it was 1971 and my dad bought a 69 mercury grand marquis from his bosses son. the car was bee u tiful. it was red with the white landua top and white leather interior. total class. it had all the bells and whistles including the the high tech 8 track stereo player. included in the purchase was a lone 8 track tape. (i just couldn’t believe it was accidentally left). we plugged it in and were blown away. wore the tape out. the sound was intense for a 9 year old. best live album all time!
