Onyx Amulet Leveling Instructions?

The Onyx Annulet and Primordial Stones can be obtained by following quests in the Forbidden Reach. To obtain the Onyx Annulet, you must first complete the Forbidden Reach intro quests in Valdrakken, where you must talk to Kazra at the Seat of Aspects and fly to the Forbidden Reach up. The Onyx amulet requires Level 20+ (10-16) to all Attributes and can be enchanted into an amulet of fury using the Lvl-6 Enchant spell or a Lvl-6 enchant tablet.

To obtain the Onyx Annulet Ring, you must complete the quest “The Forgotten Ring” in the Zskera Vaults. The ring is an unstrung version of the regular onyx amulet made by using a gold bar on a furnace while having a cut onyx and an amulet mould in the inventory. They can be upgraded twice to a max of item level 424 by using Unstable Elementium, a new Jewelcrafting pattern added in Patch 10.0.7, and upgrading Primordial Stones.

The Onyx Annulet can be found in the Zskera Vault, a new activity in Patch 10.0.7. Upgrading Primordial Stones increases the Item Level of your ring. The ring starts at Item Level 405 and can be upgraded to 424.

In summary, the Onyx Annulet and Primordial Stones can be obtained by following quests in the Forbidden Reach and visiting the Zskera Vaults. Upgrading Primordial Stones increases the Item Level of your ring, starting at Item Level 405 and increasing to 424.

  • To save you five minutes, you need “unstable elementium” from a jewelcrafter. It’s BOP so you need to create a crafting order. 10x “Dormant Primordial Fragment “25x “Silken Gemdust” is needed. To get your Primordial Stones to 424 you need to upgrade them twice. You ofcourse, as bartman said need to do this for each one of your three stones.

  • As a returning player, this whole crafting order system is fucking terrible. It makes no sense what so ever, even after perusal multiple articles. I have no clue where I submit for certain specific items (what category in the crafting AH) for upgrades, or even what items I have to buy off the AH, what materials need to be submitted for crafting, or what materials I need to farm and even what level of content is required to farm the correct level of materials. I have been playing MMOs and RPGs for over 20 years and this is one of the worst upgrade/crafting systems I have ever seen.

  • I have not been impressed by this at all. All the stones were taking up too much space in my bag, so I just trashed it and the stones. I have to pay 1000s to JCs even improve the stones so I can get a random flat damage proc that does like 11k damage once every minute and a half if you are lucky? The whole zone seems like a complete waste of time with nothing fun to do there

  • So were upgrading 3 stones 2x = 6x. Meaning if you want your primordial stones to be 421 ilvl, (and thus your ring also at 421ilvl), we need 60 dormant primordial fragment and 150x silken gem dust. Godamn this system sucks and ruins the any fun it could potentially have. Also VERY alt-unfriendly b/c you need the ring due to its powers
