  • If Apple built in an apple pencil on to the iPad pro, shouldn’t they also include a writing/drawing mode on a 300-350 dollar magic keyboard? probably a good idea also considering the high price. Who wants to constantly keep taking out their tablet to write or draw? the way the keyboard hinge is designed, it should be able handle my palm resting on it for writing and drawing. If I pay that much for a so called magic keyboard, with that design and flexibility, I would expect it to also have a writing/drawing mode since it’s part of the Tablet or the whole iPad pro experience

  • Not worth the 300-350 when there’s not even a writing mode. I suspect this to have it considering the high price. Could’ve made the main hinge first click/lock in a little lower and the second hinge to bend back enough to where you’re able to rest your palm for writing/drawing. You give the iPad a Pencil, but don’t include a writing drawing mode on a 300-350 dollar keyboard. NO THANK YOU.

  • Just got mine in the mail today. youtube.com/post/UgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think that’s more of the shipping’s fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.

  • I always attach the keyboard from the pins and not from the camera, because I’m afraid I’ll ruin the pins in the long run if I “violently” and blindly connect it, like in the article. There are reports of pins wearing off so that’s something to keep in mind for such an expensive keyboard. Just my two cents.

  • I use this keyboard for work and school and I need to type papers sometimes. The iPad keeps the iPhone key layout and doesn’t register all keys properly. For example my minus or dash key is typing as a question mark. My plus key is an upside down expiration mark my comma key is a bracket or parenthesis and so on. Yes its easy but also stupid that it doesn’t register the keyboard and the keys. I hope this make sense.
