  • Just recently realized I and my husband are kitchen witches. How we did not realize for so long is mind-boggling! He is a chef, and I absolutely love cooking and fully believe that feeding others is feeding the soul. We naturally were doing magic in the kitchen without even realizing it. Then one day my father built us a beautiful prep table and we placed a statue of Dionysus on it, and suddenly I said to my husband: “…This is our altar…. This is our altar!” I have another altar in our bedroom I had considered our main house altar, but we realized that no, our central altar was here, in our kitchen. And since we began thinking of that table as our altar, we have been much better at keeping the kitchen cleaned up and organized. It’s still a work in progress (our kitchen is a very small apartment kitchen and we like our manual tools) but we are very happy to have truly begun the journey we were always meant to take.

  • I am very new to witchcraft. I’m researching for the first time this last week. I was drawn after learning several personal rituals I have with my grandfather who has passed are very similar to the practices of some witches. Those things bring me so much comfort and growth. And the idea of bringing those same concepts into other areas of my life is appealing to me. And I’ve been drawn to the food side of things. I have had a strong history of using food as a weapon against myself. Overeating to cause harm. But the acts of mindfulness and harnessing healing energy instead of the harmful energy I have been unknowingly infusing into my food. It strongly appeals to me. Any thoughts or advice for a newborn (newest of the new) witch

  • I personally don’t believe in Witchery, but out of all the Witch types I like to look at daily, this one interests me the most. Not the fancy crystals or candles. Just cooking with intent. There’s something charming about kitchen witch stuff. Nice article by the way, easy to follow and visually pleasing!

  • When I was renting to own a house i used to pick pineapple weeds and make a splendid tea as well as use Mullen weed for a tummy remedy as we would not spray for weeds i knew it was ok. Now we are renting an apartment and i miss being able to go into my yard and forage. Being a city girl there are not much options other than the market, which is fine but i miss picking my own.

  • I love cooking! I always have. My grandmother cooked and baked for so many people, and I often wonder if she was som form of a kitchen witch. Also, I’ve had issues with eating disorders. I wondered today if I need to stop trying to kick food out of my life, which results in disorders… and just embrace food. If I take my time to prepare the food, to infuse it with love, to cook for others, maybe my issues with food will dissipate. That’s usually how it works: instead of shoving things into a corner, bring it into the sunlight and see what happens.

  • I have noticed before how when I want to bake something, it turns out perfect and when my mom makes me and I don’t want to, something goes wrong. I also always feel tempted to add random spices that my mom would never approve of, so I add them when she isn’t perusal and she says it tastes better than when she makes it.

  • I loved your article! I’m so glad I found your website! I have been very intimidated getting started with my own kitchen witchery. I have been setting up my kitchen with tools and books but haven’t been able to infuse my recipes yet. I do feel more comfortable being mindful with intentions when I cook next!

  • I think i had already commented on one of your posts how I want to get more involved with kitchen witchery. This was a great article with lots of great tips! I had never heard of cutting away negativities with a knife. I really love that! I imagine that could work for cookie cutters too? (do you see where im going with this? 😛 ). Also! I went a little crazy and counted a few things. Kitchen witch(es): 19. Kitchen withery: 12. Kitchen witchcraft: 3. It was the only way for me to be sure lol! Hopefully its relatively close!

  • Hello! Thank you so much for uploading this, it was a wonderful introduction and so relaxing to listen to! Your cooking looks beautiful, my mouth is watering just by perusal! 😀 Is there any advice you would give for younger or aspiring kitchen witches, who maybe can’t get their own ingredients or cook their own meals quite yet? I’m fascinated by all of this, but my parents will barely let me chop onions :’) Thank you for your support!

  • It’s official I am a mix of a kitchen witch and a garden witch!!!!🎉❤🎉 Ps. I have a garden i tend to like three to four times a week. I also am a baker. So I thought it would make the most sense…❤ Edit #1: I’ve learned it is called a green witch not a garden witch so technically I am a kitchen witch and a green witch!❤🎉❤

  • Hi from Oregon. Witch since forever, but in and out of phase in a fully conscious way. I do vegan. My learning to cook was separate from when I learned spellcraft. I’m in a phase of my evolution known as Progressed New Moon and for me that’s Pisces, my 6th house. All the things I studied and did in the previous 30 years since my last Prog New, when I was a teenager just encountering Witch lore, then Ceremonial Magick got me and the Witch was in the broom closet until very recently. Just as my prog Moon slipped out of Aquarius, over amped as it is with my Ascendant ruler there and Jupiter too, I felt a new phase of my life tuning in. Aquarius is my party house, the 5th. My prog Mercury did vanguard research on healing things from the Pisces place, that is water, sensory perception all the way down to emotional tones and the speech of birds, insects, and beasts. Tuning in a bunch of separate elements is how I had to do it in this world as there’s no coherent Witch school that teaches every element of my Craft. Thanks for putting this great lore into the Youtube monster. Ups the quality of the thing to reconnect it to the Good Green Earth. Yeah, obviously I’m also a cosmic Witch as I track the stars and planets. My previous 30 years was a party. Now I learn a path of service. I feel the Witch as my true adult personality cause with the way I sense the world I need that kind of awareness of how to tune subtle vibrations. The mess I’m still cleaning up in my life is from how my apprenticeship as a young Witch went, extracting myself from the grand delusion that matter is the source and end of everything.

  • So I recently went to a Ren Faire, there were a few people there who came up to me, they were questioning me about my handmade head crown made of fresh herbs and lavender and my wand, made from oak with a wild rose vine wrapped around it. They were curious about me for some reason, and they said that I was a kitchen witch. I never heard of that before, I’m not a kitchen witch or any kind of witch, I was just dressed up. I do love cooking and baking, I also make up teas and other things from herbs and spices to cure common ailments, that I’ve learned over the years. My family and friends love and appreciate my cooking. I’m just here because I’m curious about what it was they were saying to me.

  • So…. kitchen witchcraft is just like you! Warm, community based and inviting, basically all the awesome vibes!! 🤗🤗🤗. I hope you know that your articles, both content and aesthetics, created a beautiful haven for many of us. You share the healing beauty in everyday magick making it accessible and adaptable to everyone. I just adore you! With respect to equipment, this old crone does have arthritis🤣 but, i do take the time to bless the hand held mixer and charge it with intention just as I do any other witchy tool! 😁 I 💯 agree that we should mindfully prepare meals. I have noticed that if I am angry or upset and prepare a meal, you can feel that energy in the end results. I love the idea of cutting out negative energy in preparation! Never thought of that!! It may seem over the top, but I do, especially if baking, charge ingredients with crystals. In working with chocolate truffle making I will also do crystal grids to set intentions after, especially if they are intended for use during or after ritual! I also ritually make intention sugars and salts so they are ready to go in the kitchen to add a little extra energy and blessings to drinks, desserts and meals. I was asked to make a set for the store… 🤔 might consider that! Okay beautiful soul, can’t wait to continue my binge perusal!!

  • I’ve been a kitchen witch long before I knew what a kitchen witch was. I’ve been so blessed to live opposite a nature reserve in Sydney, Australia and am studying native plants and how Aboriginal people used them. Anyone who loves cooking or feeding people is a bit of a kitchen witch and more people whether they practice magic or are Wiccan or whatever religion or spiritual practice should embrace and recognise how powerful food and cooking can be for the mind and body and soul complex. one thing I like to do is roll around a couple of gum nuts in one hand while I stir things or as I’m blessing a soup or something, to feel and honour mother earth and the particular country and environment I’m in.

  • Thank you for sharing this article. I have been trying to understand my gift and what kind of witch I am. For a while I thought I was a green witch because I love been outside and I carry a lot of emotion to plants but, I also am super crafty and enjoy recycling containers and using them for candles, paint, and soap making. Thanks to your article I have no doubt out who I am and I feel like I can finally just continue my journey without confusion or doubt. I’m forever grateful <3

  • I love this article full of kitchen witchcraft, witchery, wizardry 😛 & whatever. You are definitely a kitchen magician who can turn anything to anything. I’m so glad to find you, will learn from you so much. Thanks for sharing all this beautiful magic with us. New friend here from UK, keep it up stay & God bless you.

  • I have always been a kitchen witch a d green witch I have grown hers b plants trees flowers roses and have made food to help when ur sick and for goodness in cooking and cooking is my life so is greening I think for me rolling bread products and cooking in my cauldron soups and stuff are very good for the sick its grest for others my mom taught me alot about cooking and nature so did my grandpa thank you for bring here

  • Such a lovely and warm article! Were those deep fried elderflowers? I also saw some gorgeous garden focaccias and brownies. I’ve started dipping my toes into kitchen and hearth magic recently, also readign the House Witch, which I’ve seen in some of your articles as well. I, however find that I often don’t really have the patience or inner calm to cook in the way that I’d want to, to perform magic. Cooking for me is such a “have to” and not really something I get a lot of joy out of. I do love baking, but I find I’m so focused on the recipe, I forget about the magic haha! Do you have any tips that could help me find the calm and patience for kitchen magic?

  • Hello from Denver Colorado USA. I absolutely love this website. I would love for you to make a cook book. I am a German descent but my great-grandmother took all the recipes with her when she passed but all the food that you make on your website looks absolutely delicious it would be cool if you could put the magical correspondence in with the ingredients but if you can’t a regular cookbook would be great I would buy it

  • One of the things I’ve started doing to have a better daily routine was stop blaming myself for consuming internet content. I never really over did it, but I still blamed myself for “wasting that time”. To fix this I started being more selective with what I watch. Now, there’s no way I can say these past 11 minutes were wasted. On the contrary. I always gain so much perusal you. Inner peace, knowledge, a sense of not being alone in the world. It’s really beautiful the energy I’m feeling. I really appreciate you and I really appreciate myself for making that change. Thanks so much 🥰

  • I also have not spoken to my best friend in 2 months🥺 but she’s mad at me. Again. I think this might be it for us. Cherish your friendship because ours was 21 years and its gone. It wasn’t even a fight it just… went. It’s so important and neither of us have other close friends, as it gets harder to make the outside school. Your oracle is very wise! We can get so busy. I’m going to try to incorporate more local and seasonal products! I rescued some pomegranate that were on their last leg the other day and wanted to focus more on wasting less food. I also rescued some greens that were starting to wilt that I worried may be thrown out! It’s hard for me to get to the farmers market with my work schedule and my family but your article has really inspired me to website that kitchen witch in me that I’ve always wanted to be but could never prioritize so thank you💜🍃

  • I love the way you speak about self-care here especially at the end of the day and fitting in those small practices for ourselves. I have often found that I get overwhelmed by everything there is to do, learn, create and experience, with all aspects of life – when it comes to cleaning, working, creating and editing articles, developing my craft, practicing magic, spending time with my kids, journalling, baking, plus all the rest of the admin, school runs, jobs and appointments; and I just burn myself out. I have honestly had to just be sure I take time to meditate and intentionally breathe everyday, even if something else has to give. And reminding myself that my health and the health and happiness of my family is the most important thing. Such a cosy lovely vlog 💕😊

  • You make me laugh, your sense of humor and energy is so positive! And your little man is adorable! 😍 I’m curious about the food you made wrapped in the towel. Is there a recipe available? Please keep making this enjoyable content in your articles! 🍁🍄🐿🌾🍂 (oh I just figured out I didn’t keep scrolling for the recipe, my bad) LOL 😂 I have “mom brain”

  • This was so cozy! I find myself wanting comfort foods at this time of year, including root vegetables. Unfortunately for me I have two picky eaters in my household, but you’ve inspired me to branch out a bit with my lunches to incorporate them there. ❤️ And the toddler cooking sequence was so adorable!

  • This is so wholesome, realistic and makes me want to go back in the kitchen and kitchen witch by fireside! FYI been perusal your ads because it supports but they are insane at the moment and I can’t stop laughing (see a drawing of your real soul mate?) it’s so funny! Families yelling and screaming in joy!

  • I absolutely love your articles! So calming, inspiring, and my daughter finds you quips here and there hilarious. I also love your long winter cloak. In a flurry to downsize our clothing after living in warmer climates for months, we accidentally sent our winter gear off with the donations. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have been searching for a similar winter cloak for myself and my daughter ever since and with today’s first snowfall of the year, I’m now frantic! We would love to know where you got yours! Thanks for posting all your tips and tricks for daily witching! After making my morning cup, you’re the first on the television on my lazy Saturday morning. 😁

  • Awww so cozy!! 🥰 I also hate it when people throw food away and don’t use everything up… I really feel super heardbroken when I see it! My grandparents and parents always told me that throwing food is a sin and I think it’s actually a good way of thinking regarding to the environmental problems face…

  • I absolutely love Constant Comment brought from England and all Their Collectives ( No Judgement) A little Zhot hot 🥵 water plus T—Bag and orange honey and just a Tad Bit of chilled Moon water with 2% milk all being friendly like in a Gianormus Pot until it’s All Warm and Sweet and Soft to be Shared… just gotta say Some if the Best stories I Ever heard were mumbled to around and of course inside caves or Shells but just nearly heard….

  • Your child is so kind! I love when my little one makes me little dishes too. His cafe’s ‘signature dish’ takes 500 years to cook though 😂. When he makes this dish, he spends a good chunk of time prepping it before it pops in the oven but I’ll be dead before it’s done. A recent development after MONTHS of making this dish repeatedly without ever being able to ‘taste’ it, he confessed that adding vinegar reduces the cook time to a mere 20 minutes 😂.
