Spell Casting Techniques In Barony?

Spells are magical utilities found in Barony that can be used by the player and select enemies to combat, assist themselves, or alter dungeons. Casting spells, except for light spells, will level the player up, while higher tier spells like levitation, bloodletting, and extra healing will level it more than lower level spells. If the player lacks intelligence to learn spells, they can use the spellbook itself.

To cast spells, hold down the keyboard key (default F) and repeatedly cast the spell. If binded to a mouse button, click on it. Go under the spells menu and equip the spell, then press the cast button. Magic and casting can be best leveled through two easy ways: first, using any magic staff found in the dungeon, and second, taking one of the 21 possible actions during a given game.

Playing as a vampire can farm casting and magic levels from the start by toggling levitation on and off. When running out of mana, players can naturally use spells. To begin using spells, find a spellbook and learn its spell to begin casting it. Spellbooks will be read from and have their spell cast when the player presses the space bar.

Magic and casting have a chance of leveling up whenever a spell is cast, with one exception being Force Bolt. The Force Bolt should have higher damage, as it can hit multiple enemies but does massive damage. Shift right-clicking your compass inside a town to unlock spells is another way to unlock spells.
