Tarot Cards were introduced in Release 23.1 and were previously used for daily quests in The Tinkerer. They were implemented by Kabam during the Nullbot era when The Alchemist was released in August 2014. Tarot Cards were used to obtain a free spin from the Alchemist when completed the Tarot Card Quest it gave you.
In Realm of the Mad God, one of the main uses of tarot cards is to customize a player’s character build. By equipping different cards, players can tailor their character’s abilities. Tarot cards are currently used as low-level pet food and quest items for uncommon Tinkerer quests, and no longer drop normally. They were used to obtain a free spin from the Alchemist when you completed the Tarot Card Quest it gave you.
Tarot cards are mainly used for pet food and can also be used to gain tokens for the alchemist. When the alchemist is up, the third quest item would cost tarot cards for a token. If not, it is just Transformation Potions, Loot.
To learn about card meanings and combinations, players can assign positions in advance, lay out the cards in their spread from left to right, and use what they’ve learned about card meanings and combinations to tell a story based on the cards they’ve drawn.
In conclusion, Tarot Cards are a valuable tool in Realm of the Mad God, providing players with a unique way to customize their character build and gain tokens for the Alchemist.

Can I use tarot cards on myself?
Tarot is a popular and ancient practice that has gained popularity in the mainstream. It involves using cards to interpret and predict the future, providing insight into current situations and allowing individuals to make predictions. Tarot spreads can be done on oneself, even for beginners. To begin, clean the energy of your space by burning herbs, ringing bells or chimes, taking a bath, or using crystals. A Selenite wand is a popular energy refresher that can be used to clear the space, cards, and your body.
After cleansing the energy, sit comfortably and visualize protective energy surrounding you. Shuffle the deck by taking deep breaths, thinking about your question or needing guidance, and keeping your mind and heart open to potential answers. When the cards feel mixed, deal them out in a “spread”, which influences the meaning of each card in combinations. It is important to know the spread you will be working with before beginning to shuffle, as the answers may require additional cards for further clarity or starting with a new question from a different perspective.
In summary, Tarot is a powerful tool for gaining insight into current situations, honoring intuition, and forecasting potential outcomes. It is a simple process that can be done on oneself, and it is essential to practice regularly to ensure a successful Tarot reading.

How do I use my tarot cards?
Tarot cards can provide valuable insights on various topics; however, it is optimal to pose open-ended questions rather than seeking a binary response of “yes” or “no.” This enables the cards to initiate a narrative rather than presenting a definitive answer. For example, rather than inquiring whether one will ever find love, it may be more fruitful to ask how one can attract a partner or what obstacles impede one’s ability to open oneself up to a relationship.
How to pull cards for Tarot?
Tarot card pulls are a popular practice among those who enjoy the energy and power of the cards. Some prefer to spread the cards out after shuffling, while others feel drawn to them. Once a card radiates with energy, it can be pulled one or three at a time. All products are independently selected by editors, and if purchased, the company may earn an affiliate commission. Lisa Stardust, in her Practical Magic column, explains how to conduct daily tarot card pulls for oneself, focusing on getting in touch with oneself, whether magically or not. Is tarot card reading true?
Early French occultists claimed that tarot cards had esoteric links to ancient Egypt, the Kabbalah, Indic Tantra, or the I Ching. However, scholarly research reveals that tarot cards were invented in Italy in the early 15th century for playing games, and there is no evidence of significant use of them for divination until the late 18th century. The belief in the divinatory meaning of the cards is closely associated with a belief in their occult properties, which was propagated by prominent Protestant Christian clerics and Freemasons.
From its uptake as an instrument of divination in 18th-century France, the tarot went on to be used in hermeneutic, magical, mystical, semiotic, and psychological practices. It was used by Romani people when telling fortunes and as a Jungian psychological apparatus for tapping into “absolute knowledge in the unconscious”, a tool for archetypal analysis, and even a tool for facilitating the Jungian process of individuation.
Can I teach myself tarot cards?
The author argues that anyone can learn to read tarot, at least for themselves. They don’t claim to be psychic or psychic, and don’t read for others. If you don’t want to learn to read for yourself, getting a reading from a trustworthy and intuitive channeler might be helpful. The author also clarifies their personal beliefs about how tarot works, stating that anyone can learn to read tarot for themselves, just like a great cleaning service is invaluable if you don’t have the time, energy, or skill to clean your house yourself.
Should you pull a tarot card daily?
One method of establishing a practice of tarot is to pull a card each morning and record one’s thoughts and reflections on it in a journal. Additionally, touching the cards may prove advantageous. Nevertheless, a more elaborate configuration, such as an Instagram tarot spread, may offer a more visually appealing alternative. A well-executed morning tarot spread is an excellent way to commence the day with a tarot reading, instilling a sense of excitement and anticipation.
How are tarot cards supposed to work?
Tarot readings are a personal and intimate experience that can be performed for oneself or others. The reader shuffles and fans out the deck face down, inviting the querent to pull a series of cards in a specific pattern, known as a spread. Each position in the pattern has a different significance, and the meaning of the card has to be read through that lens. The reader should take the lead in interpreting the cards, building a narrative from the symbols in front of them.
Tarot readings are intimate and personal, and it is important to remember that the reading is always about the querent, not the tarot reader. If you’re reading for someone else, you’re in a position of trust, and they might share things they’ve not told other people or that they’ve not even realized about themselves before.
To learn tarot, it is recommended to start by reading for yourself or someone you know well, and only graduate to readings for strangers once you’re steady on your cartomancy feet. Before giving readings, you will need to have learned the cards, and many find a guidebook to be the best place to start. A good guide will help you become familiar with the overall shape of the deck, the symbols associated with each card, and the commonly held meanings, as well as providing practical advice and tips on spreads, learning techniques, and reading etiquette.
📹 The Greatest Trade in RotMG History
In 2013, I made a trade with someone during the last UT weekend that has stuck with me ever since. I spend a few minutes here …
Hi, I got a question. I recently purchased a UGC card ($25). As I was putting in the code, and clicked ‘Add Card’ then clicked ‘Confirm Payment’ it said that my card was invalid. Originally I wanted to buy gold through credit card, but it also said it was invalid, so that’s why I turned to UGC. Please help, but I think this could be a factor: When ever I go in to buy anything through ‘Credit Cards, etc’ it comes back up with “Welcome Back (Name)” Does this have anything to do with it? -Cheers
OKay if the web browser page loads to 100% and is stuck. This can mean two things. Either Realms servers are down or you are banned. If it says “error loading retrying” this is usually a sign of being banned. If you have muledump refresh it and if it says for your account “Account under maintenance” This is 100% meaning you are banned. If it just loads 100% and nothing happens then the servers are down. To make sure e-mail support.
Can you give me more info? Are you using realmofthemadgod com or steam or kong or flashplayer? Is it stuck on loading? Can you not load into realm (black screen w/ blue/red numbers)? It can mean you need to update flahsplayer/client, realm is down, you are banned, you are hacked. Please give me more information.
I emailed UltimatePay and it’s a total bitch trying to get my gold. I’ve been emailing them since last week and now I’m being transferred to Kabam. I emailed them my receipt ID and am still waiting to hear back. Terrible customer service on Kabam’s part. They just need to put in a $25 amount to select when you buy gold.
My most memorable moment was back when Lord of the Lost Lands was first released, and I was farming in the Godlands in an empty EUW server around midnight, when I stumbled across a Red Demon chest. I didn’t think that there was anything that I needed in the chest but maybe someone forgot to look the hp/mp pots in it, so I decided to take a look inside. I popped open the chest and to my surprise there was a Shield of Ogmur inside of it! I could not believe my eyes, and greedily picked it up from the chest and nexused. This was the first event white that I had ever gotten! I immediately showed it off to my guildmates and proudly placed it on my 2/7 Knight, who was almost maxed def btw, before immediately dying to O2 for getting too cocky with my 60 def.
One night, in usw3, i found an ubhp dropped near the fountains!!. You cant imagine my happy face, since I found it, I had been playing for 3 months or so. That item was really well valued like in 2016(the year i found it). was like 8 lifes and lifes were really hard to get. That days usw3 used to be very populated. Thanks for heping me to remember that beautifull moment.
I just want tell you how much I’m loving how you’re just uploading what you want to now. You’re just making the articles you feel inspired to make, like this story-time article. Even though its different then what you usually do I can tell that its what you were inspired to make just because you wanted to. And I appreciate that.
My most memorable time was after I introduced a friend to the game, he had experience on trading from other games so he quickly learned how to profit from ammys. He gave me a lot of UTs and amulets, AND a fricking bronze medal (That it’s probably still sitting in the inventory of a mule account that I forgot mail and password). Another random event that I remember is finding a CRONUS dropped behind a realm portal in nexus. Good times 🙂
i love seeing you post, because i dont know its a personal thing but just listining to you in the background while playing realm feels nice, even if you play with yinyarn. you tell stories that really intrigued me and gives me a smile mostly. im so happy to see a somewhat schedule of posting articles, even if its not even 10 minutes. keep it up..
If my memory of ~2013 exchange rates is correct, 1 life is ~8 def. 1 def is ~4 speed. Let’s say the normal Juggernaut trading value is 8 life (since a higher amount of life such as that mentioned in the article could not be enforced). 8*8*4 = 256. This guy sold you a Jugg for roughly 0.4% of the expected value.
I was once a merchant years ago at rotmg, I used to have a lot of deca rings. even I made a mule for it. so one day I was so bored that I bring challenge to people on the realm, whose get me 8 kendo stick will get free deca, I wasn’t joking, the beaches was on chaos being hunted by many people on realm. many ppl were just as confused as you. well it was fun time
Around that time, I was just starting the game and had this dumb mindset of “I only use the Necro” he was my main at the time and the only character I used. Needless to say, I was a very dumb player and would trade great items away for minuscule stuff like pots. While I didn’t trade something as rare as a Jugg, I would trade stuff like an Acclaim for 1 dex. So I can relate…. God I was so stupid back then lmfao.
Something like that happened to me I was new to the game I didn’t even know what UTs were. One day I traded with a random guy. My character just died and I thought maybe this guy has some free loot for my new character. The man ended up giving me 3 decas and t6 helmet. He was like hold on he went to his vault and came back with all that. I always wondered what happened to that man and why he do it
A stone sword for 7 hp pots. In 2012, before the world was going to end and uts we’re going to be sb, I was selling hp pots. There was only this one guy who was in the realm rushing to an event. He didn’t have any stat pots, so I offloaded my hp pots to him for free. He had 2 stone swords in his inventory. I accidentally clicked the 7th hp pot and he clicked the stone sword and let the trade go through. I even asked him if he was ok and he said yeah. If memory serves me, his name was KruzerD.
Way back when I made a pretty bad trade for jugg I don’t know if it was worth it or not but I took the trade unintentionally. The grand Sphinx walked up to me and offered me a jugg for my life. I politely declined. and then the grand Sphinx shotgun to me killed my 8/8 knight and then I was on my assassin and I went to another grand Sphinx and the grand Sphinx gave me a helm of the juggernaut. But what I’m thinking is I probably could have gotten the check for free without having to sacrifice my knight.
Ngl, but I bought crap UT’s off this one RWT trade site called level20.com or something like that. This was way back in 2011-2012. Oh but back on the topic of your trade. Who was it that removed UT trades? Blame kablem? Wild Shadow? I forgot. But UT trade weekend was an interesting concept. Back in like 2013, right? I was red star noob at the time, under the username “Mariopower”. If you remember that username, don’t ask. I was into Super Mario Galaxy at the time before I eventually stumbled upon this game (2010-2012). Just… D o n ‘ t a s k. It’s a weird username that my younger self thought of. I saw that trade in RealmEye when the announcement for UT trade weekend commenced. I didn’t think much of it. If you think about it, that jugg was probably duped. At the time, it was so easy to duplicate items. Remember that two window flash projector exploit? Yeah, that’s how easy duplication was. You didn’t even need to be a genius hacker to dupe items. But that eventually got patched and duplication exploits became harder to find. But it was still easy for those who were adventurous to discover them. Also, take into consideration that there were a rising number of RWT shops selling items (including UT’s). tl;dr Basically, that person probably had a duped jugg and sold it .
Prob just selling UT for anything cuz of duping. I remember I got a conflict orb as a drop and somebody gave me 16 pretty good uts (Qot Oreo being the most notable UTS he gave me ) then gave me my conflict back. Sad part of that story is I sold them for celestial blade when that was accidentally released and then it got changed to a useless katana which felt terrible. Especially because they’re giving them as drops now. Bit of a ramble but that was an interesting situation in realms history. Why was Ray Katana not changed to a useless katana? Because you couldn’t actually get ray katana as a drop at that time but because LOD was accidentally released you could legitimately get celestial blade.
Why? For the same reason I’ll sell a life pot for a wis and a dex, or an etherite for 5 spd, or anything for less than it’s worth. Because I want to max a character and the item isn’t worth keeping for whatever reason. If UTs were tradable permanently again, I would absolutely sell off my kageboshi cheap since I’ve only kept it because it can’t be traded and it’s an event white.
Not long ago, maybe like a week or smth, i just typed on a realm “free t11 heavy armor”. Nobody tp on me, but there was a guy already next to me who asked mo to trade. I opened the trade menu and just select the armor, then he select the deca, yes, the ring of decade. I was thinking he has to be joking, but he actually selected that ring and accepted the trade. I still have the ring and i haven’t used it bcs i still consider myself a noob and too afraid to die with that on me
In my early days, I’d trade a def pot for low-tier gear, like a t11 staff. One time, I met a guy to do a trade, and he noticed my kendo stick in my inventory and asked if he could trade for that as well. I figured sure why not, and suddenly the guy reaches into his bagpack with a life pot and traded me. Can’t remember the name, but man that made my day.
It was a duped item man. There were plenty of people back then that literally were trading UTs for dex. They’d then dupe that and max lol. But yeah I remember this time so vividly, I cam back to realm to play in the summer and was so confused when I saw this guy saying things like “first to trade gets a xxx” and he’d run around nexus and drop dbows. I got 3 dbows for free basically this way. My only regret is that I couldn’t find a duper that had juggs or qots or ogmurs… I would have rinsed those items lmao
I think i was the guy because i remember giving someone that helmet that was really pretty rare . I had 1 slot back then and my inventory was full and i wanted to sell my inv anyway and i sold some op stuff for dirt cheap prices because i was boored. Instead of 8 def or 2 life i sold them for 4 dex or atk i wanted to max myself Maybe not a jugg but i remember selling something used to worth 4 lifes That was 2014
