Minato developed the Rasengan technique after seeing a Tailed Beast Ball being used by his lover, Kushina Uzumaki, a jinchūriki. He wanted to create a technique that Kushina could use, and Naruto uses his chakra arms in his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to create the Tailed Beast Rasengan, which is even more similar to the original Rasengan.
The Rasengan is a spinning ball of chakra formed and held in the palm of the user’s hand, only known to a handful of shinobi. It requires tons of chakra and focus, and has no range unless thrown. Boruto returns to Konoha three years after the end of the series’ first part with a powerful new technique, “Uzuhiko”, developed by Boruto Uzumaki. This variant harnesses the user’s own chakra and planetary chakra, energy generated by centrifugal force.
The Rasengan is a wind-style jutsu passed down from Minato Namikaze and learned by Naruto. It requires a great deal of chakra control to perform, making it difficult to learn. The compacted nature and moving speed of the chakra allow the Rasengan to grind into whatever it comes in contact with to inflict major damage. The amount of force the Rasengan can unleash depends on the number and speed of the chakra’s rotation, the amount of chakra it contains, and how it moves.
Developed by Minato Namikaze, this jutsu allows the user to manifest a ball of chakra that spins at an extremely high speed and generates enough power. Giant Rasengans take up more chakra due to their density, but it takes an extremely high level of control to keep the chakra in a tight sphere and moving with the force.
