The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer: How To Use It?

Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Away concealer is a full-coverage liquid concealer that reduces the appearance of dark circles, blemishes, and imperfections for fresher-looking second skin instantly. It is best for covering dark circles and color-correcting skin and has a star rating of 4/5. The active ingredients include Persian silk tree bark extract and palmitoyl glycine.

The concealer is best used in diagonal lines upwards along the forehead, eyelids, and under-eye area. To apply, twist the sponge applicator slowly to prevent a large amount of concealer from being visible. The product comes in reflective golden-colored packaging and includes a glow-boosting primer and fair-tone concealer. To dispense the product, twist the bottom of the tube a couple of times.

A light veil of Charlotte’s Airbrush Flawless Finish powder can help make your concealer last longer and create a smooth-looking finish. To apply, pull the sponge bit off and apply the concealer onto your finger. If you don’t use foundation, apply it on skin that has been primed.

In summary, Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Away concealer is a versatile and effective solution for reducing the appearance of dark circles, blemishes, and imperfections. It is recommended to use the Magic Precision cushion and Charlotte Tilbury Magic Powder for a flawless and long-lasting look.

Does concealer go on before or after foundation?

Applying foundation before concealer is beneficial for evening skin tone and preventing the need for more concealer to perfect the complexion. This method also helps prevent the foundation from blending out, which can cause patchiness. Color-correcting concealers, often found in colorful hues like peach and green, should be applied before foundation and flesh-toned concealer to neutralize discoloration and create a more even-toned appearance. This allows the foundation to mask any hints of color left behind by the color correctors.

The color wheel in art class can be used to explain why using colorful concealers is beneficial. To counteract a color, look at the desired color and use a contrasting color. For example, to balance out red or purple pigmentation, opt for green or yellow concealers. Overall, applying foundation before concealer can help create a more even-toned appearance.

  • Your base looks great even without concealer! I honestly didn’t even realise you were wearing any makeup at the start of the article!! I’ve been using this concealer for the past couple of weeks now (in shade 4) and I don’t think I would repurchase it because I find it just looks a little unnatural on me & possibly too brightening?! There’s something about the undertone to it that makes my face look a bit strange!

  • Gimme a guy with a Hello Kitty mirror. 😚 I don’t like any of her concealer-ish products unfortunately, even though I love her Hollywood filter. About all those claims, usually a check on ingrdients will just debunk most of them so I just don’t care for any of those skincare-ish claims anymore haha 🤪
