I want you to keep the number £37,011 in your head, because that’s how much student finance foreign born IMMIGRANTS can potentially get, ANNUALLY. I work in the system. Our government are paying immigrants/foreigners billions in student loans, fees, grants, disability payments and free childcare. EU nationals and their families can be granted settled status and be entitled to full student funding if here for 5 years. An illegal immigrant can be considered British if they managed to live have their lives undetected meaning most applying for funding aged 24 can do so if brought here before the age of 12, even if illegally. They can also be granted status if they have a UK partner or if they get pregnant while here. ( “settled status” grants EU nationals and their families who have spent five years in the UK the same rights as British citizens including equal rights to healthcare, education, benefits and pensions. A foreigner can also get full funding if they have a “British” family member. Normally this is an African given a UK passport.) However, the vast majority of those I speak to holding this status are AFRICAN and MIDDLE EASTERN . They arrive illegally to the EU, get an Italian passport (most commonly) and suddenly they are European, qualify for settled status if in UK for 5 years and then get British passports, earning full rights to all forms of student funding. They are fleecing us for billions in student loans, grants and childcare. Childcare is 85% of childcare costs.
An interviewer had Nigel Farage on to admit that Brexit was a failure, time and time again she asked if he took any responsibility for this – he replied that he was offered no control after our exit. She persisted saying immigration was worse because of Brexit (remember covid provided us with even more complications i.e. jobs, materials, food, finance etc.) – but IF immigration went UP after Brexit then why couldn’t it have come DOWN – because of the Government’s agenda, that is why! It’s only recently that mass Hong Kong, Afghanistan and the Ukraine immigration has occurred, much of which has been mismanaged anyway. Personally I don’t think we should have offered the Hong Kongers residency – they would have been under Chinese rule within 20 years anyway (all are basically Chinese actually) – and if we knew when we agreed the 50 year arrangement with China that it was the wrong thing to do – then we shouldn’t have done it? As for Afghanistan, half of the ‘interpreters’ couldn’t be trusted as to whose side they were on and Tony Blair had no right sending our young troops into their war in the first place!
I have watched a small gentry town in west-country England transformed in 5 years. For a thousand years it was a little trading town, in FIVE YEARS it became like something out of Blade Runner. It is not racist to point out this is UNWANTED and has made life worse. Emergency GP appointments were replaced with ‘call 999 or go to A&E 17 miles away.’ Vulnerable people have died because of this.
It has to be said that the changes in the ethnic makeup of the country are a legitimate concern, as well as the divisive cultural and religious changes. It is not racist to want to preserve the distinctiveness of one’s own people, indeed it is a right, and anyone trying to “ethnically engineer” us on the basis of the misguided “melting pot” ideology is, in my opinion, engaged in something deeply immoral. We have a right to exist!
I am a Briton, living in Japan and settled here for many years – mainly due to a mix of a lack of close family ties/support network in the UK and being marginalised politically for so long, seeing the trajectory of where it was all heading from the early 2000’s onwards yet facing ridicule when airing my concerns. I would like and would have liked it if the UK had taken a leaf out of Japan’s book. There are no real foreign communities here. Foreigners like me who move here, typically either leave eventually or marry a local and surrounded overwhelmingly by Japanese people and society. You abide by Japanese social norms and don’t flout them or insist on your cultural way of doing things. There are no parallel societies here or multiculturalism, though increasingly you hear with the falling birthrate, a push for more immigration – but the Japanese are loathe to truly become diverse and if they did, I don’t think it would in anyway compare to the absolute madness of what’s occurred in the UK. Mass uncontrolled immigration is only part of the problem – the UK is riddled with class division and there is no sense of shared values anymore.. a place where you can’t even state openly what a woman is for fear of being hounded. If the UK was a person, it would be in deep need of psychiatric support. It shouldn’t and didn’t have to be this way. I hope the announcement of these insane figures becomes a watershed moment, but I doubt it. Continuing to vote for the same mainstream parties will mean more of the same.

It is a punishment. In the 20th century, Countries in Eastern Europe had huge numbers of people deliberately settled there, taking the land and houses of the indigenous people. It was their punishment for being culturally distinct and competent. Humiliation and unfairness are deliberate, it’s about power and revenge.
We need identity cards. We need (as in Spain) people put in one of three categories. a). Visitors b) residents and c) citizens, everyone else is illegal. There should be absolutely no chance of anyone coming illegally getting into any of these categories. If international trade broke down then a large proportion of our population would starve. Germany understood this in two world wars when the population was less than 50 M and they tried to sink our shipping. We need a population we can feed, we have no need for any immigration and should support emigration. Those that support immigration are not those that would starve or cannot at present afford housing.

The British people have to confront this enemy everywhere they wish to exercise their fundamental cultural values. The upshot being that the British Government is permitting this cou ntry to be invaded by soldiers or an army – dedicated to overturning every democratic value and installing full Sharia. It is a clash of civilization vis a vis barbarism and one in which politicians have neither the wit nor courage to defend what has made this Nation a beacon of enlightenment across the world.
We all know that money makes the world go round, money talks and that if you want to know ‘que bono’ then you should follow the money. One of the main reasons I voted in favor of the UK staying a Member State of the European Union was that I saw this coming. In NY insurance is a tricky subject. Because hospitals cannot refuse service it has essentially become free healthcare. The illegals will go in with no insurance, the hospitals will care for them, and then send them home with a bill that goes in the garbage. Without social security numbers to track them the bills are meaningless, and they have no way of collecting the money that is owed. Meanwhile, I pay 500 a month for health insurance that carries a 7k deductible. I would only go to the hospital if it was catastrophic because I don’t have the money to pay the deductible.
I don’t understand how people who don’t have enough money to feed themselves are able to walk thousands of miles up the Central American jungles. That trip would take months and you would have to have tons of supplies and money to support yourself on the trip. I also have a hard time believing the smugglers are doing this all on credit and IOUs.
I don’t think we fear change… we hold a tremendous amount of national debt…. Social security is running out for our citizens that paid in. Respectfully housing and processing migrants while leaving American citizens behind is wrong. It also doesn’t help that they’re sending money back to their own economies as you mentioned.
Who benefits from the current migration from all over the planet to the US? Why have the elites in academia, government and business engineered this migration? You should be in favor of the migration if If you are benefiting from the migration. But if your local public schools are supported by local property taxes, maybe not. I am one of those people who migrated to the US. When I went back to my home country, I met many, many other families who used to receive USD sent from the States. That didn’t “get them out of poverty”, it made them super lazy. Those people in Lima, where I’m from, didn’t get jobs, why would they? They’d just sit all day and not get a job because they had relatives send them money every month. Also, there were jobs available at the time, many jobs. They just didn’t want to work. This didn’t happen with a few families, it happened with severak hundreds I got to meet.
