Blitz, the official mascot of the Seattle Seahawks, is a large blue bird with a wingspan of approximately 4.5 feet. Born on April 21, 2005, Taima was raised in Spokane and arrived on June 13, 2005, at the World Bird Sanctuary in St. Louis. He is the mascot of the team and plays a crucial role in making Lumen Field the loudest and most exciting stadium in the NFL.
The most distinctive change in the second iteration of the Seahawks logo was the shape of the eye. The eyebrow is now in a frowned design, giving the logo an attractive appearance. Taima the Hawk, the live mascot for the Seattle Seahawks, leads the team out of the tunnel and generally keeps an eye on things.
In 2022, Blitz was named the 2022 NFL Mascot of The Year and has been featured in various events, including school events, business functions, weddings, and birthday parties. The falconer that handles Taima, David Knutson, originally envisioned an osprey as their mascot but was thwarted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
Taima the Hawk is known for his entertaining nature and ability to jump off the roof of the stadium. He has also been recognized as the Captain of the 12s and has been featured in the official Twitter account of the Seattle Seahawks.
