Mercury, also known as the “personal planet”, is a celestial force that governs our relationships with ourselves and those closest to us. It represents self-understanding, confidence, interpersonal relationships, personal desires, and communication style. Mercury’s placement in your birth chart reveals your style of communication. Astrology recognizes 10 ruling planets, including the sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
The “Big 6” or “Big 3” in astrology relates to the most important planets in your natal chart: the sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and your rising sign. Inner planets govern more personal aspects of day-to-day life, while outer planets move much slower. Mercury rules over expression and communication, giving a better look at how a person expresses thoughts and processes information. Venus rules over love and money, explaining what someone desires in a romantic relationship.
Mercury represents communication, verbal and written skills, while Venus represents creativity, relationships, and positive reception towards beauty. Mercury is considered a “personal planet” like Venus and Mars because it is closer to the Sun and Earth, both astronomically and astrologically. Venus means “love” and/or “sexual desire”.
In summary, Mercury is a personal planet associated with communication, expression, and cognition, similar to Venus and Mars. Its placement in your birth chart reveals your style of communication and influences your personality traits. Each planet represents different parts of our lives, and understanding the meanings and significance of astrology planet symbols is crucial for personal growth and understanding.

Who is Mercury’s enemy in astrology?
The example of planet Mercury in the second table shows that its enemy planet is the Moon. If Mercury is placed in the Cancer sign or in a house with the Moon, the result may be negative. Conversely, if Mercury is with the Sun or Venus in their friendly signs (Leo, Taurus, or Libra), the result will be positive. This is part 2 of learning kundli, which will cover signs and houses in the next chapter.
What planet is enemy to Venus?
Venus, a planet in the solar system, is ruled by three nakshatras: Bharani, Purva Phalguni, and Purvashada. Its mool trikon is Libra and is associated with Saturn and Mercury. Venus is also the enemy of the Sun and Moon, although the Moon is neutral to Venus. Jupiter is the enemy.
The placement of Venus in a composite chart can reveal how your life unfolds, particularly in terms of your love life. For instance, if Venus is in Leo, she will suffer significantly as the Sun is her enemy. However, if placed in Purva Phalguni in Leo, some of Venus’ doshas will be curtailed.
For instance, if Venus is in enemy territory of Sagittarius, she may be fickle and unable to commit. Venus’ exaltation sign is an enemy sign, Pisces, meaning an exalted Venus may not necessarily translate to an awesome love life. Instead, Venus in Pisces may be addicted to the concept of life rather than falling in love.
In conclusion, individual kundlis and natal charts may not always accurately reflect a person’s life.
What is the relationship between Venus and Mercury myth?
In classical mythology, Venus is often depicted as engaging in adulterous relationships with numerous partners, including Mercury, the god of trade, who fathered Hermaphroditus, the god of androgyny, and Bacchus, the god of wine, who gave birth to Priapus, a fertility goddess.

I have this conjunction in my 12th House. Both signs Gemini // Deeper Relationships are so hard for me romantic and plutonic. Currently with long term partner (14+ years) I’m learning now that I can get bored with anything and I crave love (emotions). I would love to be with others but I know the grass is not always greener and I always look for my partner in others I don’t find it. So yes I would’ve probably been with many other people 😂 But surprisingly I wanted to be all those professions .. from someone out at sea just free to breathwork, occult, astrology(Vedic) yoga, kundalini, I’ve study all religions im not known to any. Rahu in 5th makes me thirsty for more and more knowledge. At this point I just know I’m going to be rich it won’t satisfy me so I can give it away and be an amazing mother / and spiritualist. I’m learning my karma healing my debt at this point.😅
I am a Taurus ascendant, Sun and Moon in ((Rohini). Mars is in Taurus too, but in (Krittika). My Venus is with Mercury in Gemini, 2nd house. Venus in (Mrigashira) and Mercury, (Ardra). Already I’m 42 years old, and I haven’t acquired the wealth I want. They told me that I have a good chart for that, but, at this age, I don’t believe it will come. I’m in the major Dasha of Jupiter until 2027. It is conjunct Saturn (R) in Virgo, house 5. Both in UttaraPhalguni. Yes, I have and have had multiple relationships. I’ve had several affairs at the same time. I’ve been married for 12 years and we’ve even had a threesome. That is, a couple who dates someone else. And it was very good ! It was sensational. Now, in fact, I’m waiting for Wealth. I hope it comes.
