What Are The Astrological Poverty Yogas?

In Hindu astrology, Daridra Yoga is associated with poverty and financial troubles in life. It is indicated by the position of certain planets or navagrahas, which results in a horoscope when the moon and the sun are in the 11th or 12th house. Wealth Yogas, or Nirdhanta yogas, are special combinations of planets in an individual’s birth chart that indicate the possibility of becoming rich. These yogas are considered lucky signs from the universe.

Raj Yoga in Kundli means prosperity and abundance of wealth. However, having Daridra Yoga could bring inauspiciousness or poverty. Some inauspicious yogas include Grahan Yoga (Combination of Rahu and Ketu) and Chandal Yoga (Combination of Jupiter and Rahu).

Daridra Yogas, along with Kemadruma Yoga and Shakat Yoga, are exceptional ava-yogas or unfavourable planetary combinations that indicate poverty. The eleventh house plays an important role in this yoga, as it represents economic adversity. The major effects of Daridra Yoga are financial crunches, as a person may not have the money to eat or fulfill their daily expenses.

The word Daridra means poor, needy, or deprived, and the word Nirdhanta means poverty. However, if one has Daridra Yoga, it could bring inauspiciousness or poverty. For example, the placement of the Moon alone in a chart with no planet in the second or twelfth house from the Moon can lead to loss of wealth in one’s life.

In conclusion, Daridra Yoga is a powerful indicator of poverty and financial struggles in Hindu astrology. Understanding these yogas and making the best of them can help individuals navigate their destiny and make the most of their opportunities.

Which is the rarest Yog in astrology?

Raja yoga is a concept in Hinduism that suggests planets associate with each other, forming a mutual relationship. Parashara states that a Raja yoga can be caused by the combination of the lords of the lagna, the 5th and 9th house, the Moon and Venus, or if Jupiter is aspected by the Sun as the lord of the 5th house. A person born with Saturn in an Aquarius with four planets occupying their exaltation sign becomes a powerful ruler.

A powerful Raja yoga is also caused by the conjunction of all major planets in mutual kendras. For example, if Saturn and Mars conjoin in the lagna, the Moon is un the 4th, Jupiter in the 7th, and the Sun in the 10th, a person born in a royal family will likely ascend the throne.

Parasara calls the kendras the Vishnusthanas and the trikonas, the Lakshmisthanas, and their lords in mutual association become yogakarakas and Rajayogakarakas. These lords attaining Parijatadi awastha (‘status’) make one a ruler who takes care of and protects his subjects.

Those blessed with these lords attaining Simhasanasha and Gopuransha have emerged as rulers and Chakravarti Samrats like Raja Harishchandra and Vaivasvata Manu. Yudhishthira was blessed with similarly strong lords as Shalivahana.

If Jupiter, the Moon, and the Lagna are aspected by Saturn, and if Jupiter is in the 9th house, the person born would be a Raja who would write on shastras or sciences. Bhattotpala records that Kanada, Buddha, Panchashikha, Varahamihira, and Brahmagupta were blessed with this yoga. Mandavya states that if there is a Raja yoga along with this yoga, the person will not be a king but only a scientist. If there are two Raja yogas, the person will be a ruling king and a great writer on sciences.

What are the yogas for poverty?

Daridra yoga, meaning Nirdhanta, refers to the eleventh house in a horoscope, which plays a crucial role in fulfilling one’s hopes and dreams. If the eleventh house lacks the strength to bestow profit and gains, it can hinder career, profession, finances, and other areas of life, leading to financial crunch and inner chaos. The lord of the eleventh house should be duly or partly malefic, such as a debilitated Jupiter in the twelfth house of a horoscope in a capricorn sign.

The overall theme and strength of the horoscope can be affected by the Mahadasha of benefic planets, which can reduce or increase the effect of Daridra yoga. Conditions leading to Daridra yoga include placing malefics in the eleventh house, placing the 11th house lord in the 6th, 8th, or 12th house, or having debilitated Jupiter in the 6th, 8th, and 12th houses.

Which yoga is the richest in astrology?

The Parasari School of Hindu astrology identifies the 2nd house or bhava, which is associated with earning and accumulation of wealth, and the 5th and 9th bhavas, which are the abodes of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. The inter-relationship between these wealth-giving bhavas and their respective lords ensures wealth and prosperity. Planets simultaneously owning two wealth-giving bhavas become prime indicators of wealth, with the strongest indicator being the one that owns both the 2nd and 11th bhavas. Dhana yogas depend on the lord of the 2nd who determines wealth, with income being judged from the 11th, gains through speculation from the 5th, and sudden unexpected gains from the 9th bhava.

Hindu astrology considers the 2nd house as the house of accumulated wealth and the 11th as the house of gains. Dhana yogas arise when the lords of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 11th bhavas mutually associate, but only when they connect with the lagna can more significant results be seen. Parashara has paid extraordinary attention to the 5th and 9th bhavas in Dhana yoga formations, such as Venus in the 5th in own house and Mars in the lagna, Mercury in the 5th in own house and the Moon, Mars and Jupiter in the 11th, The Sun in the 5th in Leo and the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn in the 11th, Jupiter in the 5th in own sign and Mercury situated in the 11th, Mars in the 5th in own sign and Venus in the 11th, and Moon in the 5th in own house and Saturn in the 11th.

Which yoga is best for wealth?

Astrology offers insights into various aspects of life, including wealth and prosperity, through various yogas and planetary alignments. Lakshmi Yoga, named after the Hindu goddess of wealth, is a fortunate combination that ensures financial success. It is formed when Jupiter is in a Kendra (first, fourth, seventh, or tenth house) from the Moon or in conjunction with the Moon. This yoga is considered lucky because it represents prosperity in terms of money, knowledge, and wisdom.

  • Wow! My Rahu is in the second house and boy did he hit me directly on the head with constantly jumping from job to job! I’ve had millions of them! I’m still jumping from job to job! Gonna start focusing on my own business! Gotta stop working for other people. thanks Kapiel! You hit me on the head with moon in the 12th also! Gonna get a reading from you some day!

  • @KRSchannel Just because they are slow moving and generational planets doesn’t mean they can’t effect individuality. What about house placements and aspects? What about MidPoints? Who rules Aquarius, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces? (and Taurus) Who will govern the 2nd/6th/8th/11th and 12th houses? Sometimes ancient knowledge isn’t enough. Did the ancients know about internet? Cell phones? Solar Panels? Science is about learning new things and adapting them in modern ways.

  • Wow. In western chart My moon is in 9th house without any planets from 6 to 11 house. Super lonely moon. And yes I really can’t make friends and don’t have any connections which can support me to develop. After 30 years I am stable financially but it comes from my family. Also really hard to have a direction, what I can do and how.

  • Sounds so true. Some people has a hundred job but can’t last for reasons. Otherwise, some do not have support from their parents….school, higher ed., these are cost…How and can a parents create life to go on…Suffer. How do they start their own business ? Since it is need the fund as a farmer has to have his own land…If he doesn’t work for someone else, how he can get pay ? Still, teacher works and get pay from business, public school or private sector…These are require education…. I don’t know if I have a moon or not, I am a Virgo last day of Virgo, lol !!! I don’t want to work for anyone, but I need to live….Patient of what you do….You will get it.

  • I feel you!! Especially if you have a fire Sun. You can really feel the weight of your moon because of the contrast. I have moon in 6H Scorpio….hate it. I have found that being in a warm and sunny climate helps a lot; for example: now I live in Washington State and I Fu@*ing hate it here. The rain is sooo depressing to me. When I lived in S. Cali back and forth as a kid I could always cheer myself up easy in Cali. IF I ever got down which wasn’t much there. I’m not an astrologer..Continued….

  • Continued… but learning more about astrology has given me the courage to aknowlege my feelings (Moon) which have always gotten me into trouble (6th Scorp) and accept that I don’t feel good here because my soppy wet broken moon gets supported by the outside elements and flourishes in it’s negative aspect in 6th Scorp. With an 11H Sun/Venus I should have more friends but I don’t here. I hope this will help. As for me, I’m moving to the Southwest, USA next month….for other reasons too but…..

  • QUESTION: IF Ketu is in the 2nd house – then I should be looking at managing my own business to stay out of “poverty”… Correct? My Moon is in the 9th house; 10th and 8th houses are EMPTY. Ketu is in my 5th house (Jupiter in my 3rd house – so does that mean that my 9th house is EXHAULTED?/EXPANDED by Jupiter; in other words, I’m screwed? P.S. got this Vedic Chart elsewhere…. Still waiting on the correction for my report – I put 15th instead of 16th July ’57…….(assuming the 15th dated chart is incorrect, and cannot use it). PS Investing in a Business License… Hope that helps… Thanks….

  • The only way I see the Moon relating to poverty isn’t concerning money but food. When it comes to the issues of money, I usualy look to Venus (what one treassures the most) Pluto (how people treat money) Jupiter (monetary growth) Mercury (the mind-set concerning money) and Saturn (how people save money.) The Moon really don’t have much to say about money. It seems like youre talking about Mercury then the Moon in this article.

  • MY MOON IN 11TH WIT NO HELP, AND RAHU IN 2ND, THIS DUDE NAMED MY WHOLE LIFE, IM 23 AND BEEN HOMELESS FOR 3 YEARS NOW, GOING THRU SERIOUS POVERTY AND ALL I THINK ABOUT IS BEING WEALTHY, AND STARTING MY RAP LABEL WHICH IS THE BUSINESS HE SPEAK OF, I HATE JOBS, EVERYTIME I DO 1 MY SOUL GETS DOWN AND I TRULY IN MY SOUL DONT WANT TO DO IT

  • wow I have cancer moon in 5th house with NO planets in 4th or 6th house, (ketu is in 3rd house though but idk if it counts) even 3rd, 2nd, 7th houses are empty too.. moon is completely alone with nothing supporting it and nothing conjuncts my moon either. 🙁 I have a 9th house stellium and other planets in 10th, 12th, and 1st house. I’m too much of a princess to go work unless its my dream job.

  • i am facing loneliness and the rahu problem so i have to change job.i am doing business and earning $300 to $200 but last year i did the seo job and earing $1500 $2000 regularly.i am so lonely and not have much friend.i am doing suriya namaskar after seeing your vedio can u suggest me something.i am 23.and i am under shani mahadasha and ketu antardasha.

  • i have moon in my 9th house in virgo tropical and leo in sidereal and both doesn’t have planets in 8th and in 10th it’s ketu then my 11 is pluto.. but yeah i was not born rich and my parents had to work hard but i finished school and everything worth it and now it’s my time to give back to my parents for all their sacrifices… And my second house doesn’t have planet but in aquarius sign then 11 house has pluto..

  • MJ had his moon totaly isolated in Pisces yet as you say he became one of the richest man on the planet…………. but it would be interesting to hear what happened that he became so wealthy? ……………. his father was a crazy psycopath who would beat him to bleeding when he made a mistake………… is that what it takes to be rich? MJ was a extremely sensitive guy with his Moon in his ascendant in Pisces and we all know that he had to take more and more sedatives to cope…………..; he also had panic attacks due to the abuse and we all know what he died off!!(well the question still remain) was it an accidental overdose or ?

  • Hi KRS……I have Taurus moon in the 10th house in Bharani Nakshatra, Aries Jupiter in the 9th house Revati Nakshatra but no planet in 11th house. I have a business partner with sun in Taurus in Bharani Nakshatra, which is supposed to helpful / supportive for both of us. I’m an artist and when people see my work they say “you should be rich and famous by now, what happened”? Please tell me if there is a possibilities!

  • I Get the part he says about Third World Countries Being in Poverty am from one but still even here their Really really wealthy People that would make people living in first world country be in shame cause their just super rich and can still compete with the Rich in first World Nations.I mean you find A person Earning like 5 to 10 million dollars in a year- I mean Dollars!Another person barely making even half a dollar a day Talk about the gap between the Rich And Poor being enormously wide.

  • Interesting. I will study that further. I experienced poverty for a few years of my life and as you say, the moon was too isolated. The only planet neighbour being mars. Accord. to Vedic astrology Moon and Mars are in the same house, sign Aquarius, and it is through my interests in cultural projects etc that I meet people and get out of isolation. Neptun and Jupiter also give good aspects, and I meet people through religion as well.

  • I respect your knowledge, but I am confused about the malefic effects of ‘new moon’. Since many wealthy people have Sun & Moon in same sign (Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, etc), can I ask: how is the Sun/Moon combo bad? I have researched this, and found that so many celebs have a new moon that I cannot really accept the concept that it hurts one’s chances of success. I accept that it is considered malefic, but still do not understand how it works. Thoughts?

  • And one other thing is that no one likes me and i have a lot of enemy for nothing.my rahu, ketu, jupitar and sun is bad, astrologers said, and i have a strong saturn, mercury and venus, and i have many lines in my hand that goes from rahu to ketu,so m astrologer give me a coral gems so that i will be saved from accident. And in my rahu i have 2 big cross marks,in 2013 july my shani mahadasha will finished.and my astrologer said me to wear a emerald (brazil) and a coral.is it good for me.

  • hi kapiel, i guess you misinterpreted the kemdrum dosh a little bit but not entirely though.. Kemdrum dosh does not necessarily give wealth to a person but at some point in the persons life(and not necessarily in youth as told by you), it makes him heavily bankrupt(this could be temporary or permanent or temporary bankruptcy depending upon the other planetary situation in chart) ! It’s called as “It gives and then takes it back!” So it hits you hard at least once in lifetime in money matters!

  • Back again to say that if Michael J became rich it’s because his father saw in him to make money of his son………….. / He would beat him so hard when he was a child to pushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh him ……………..but his father didn-t do it for his son but for himself/ ………………….If he didn’t have such a psycopath father he would not have been so rich and famous/ He suffered from panic attacks during concerts/ his father never left him to the day he died++++the pressure to perform made him used to many tablets to cope and die young!!
