What Does Astrology’S Bhava Bala Mean?

Bhava bala is the potency or strength of the house or signification, with 12 bhavas that comprehend all human events. Each bhava signifies certain events or functions. Harsha Bala, or happiness strength, is a quantitative measure calculation based on factors related to the placement of a planet in the house.

In Vedic astrology, the birth chart (kundali) is a powerful tool for gaining insight into an individual’s life journey, strengths, and challenges. The twelve houses are at the heart of the birth chart, and astrologers are well versed in assessing the strengths of bhāva and bhāvesha without necessarily going into complex calculations.

The Bhava Chalit chart is used to find the position of planets in the houses relative to the actual Lagna degree. Shadbala, the six sources of strength, determines the strength of a graha in various ways, such as being placed in a certain Rasi, Bhava, Varga, Day or Night time, Shukla or Krsna paksha, being Vakri or…

Bhav bala means net strength of the house, consisting of three parts: 1) the owner of the house strength i.e. planetary strength of the house; 2) the strength of the lord of the house, determined as per the Shadbala of the planet.

Graha and Bhava Balas help in accurately predicting aspects of life when combined with natal charts. The strength of a planet is determined in two ways: 1) Aawasia bala (residential strength) and 2) Shadbala (six types of balas).

A Bhava Calculator is used to determine the positioning of planets in the houses and their impact on the life of the native. Promising placements of a planet can greatly enhance the overall success of the astrologer.

What are the 4 types of Bhava?

Dance is a form of expression that reflects the emotions present in society, creating a sense of oneness and relatability. Ancient scriptures mention four types of Bhava: Sthayi, Sanchaari, Vibhava, and Anubhava. Sthayi bhava is the basic essence of rasa, residing in the heart and nourished by gestures like vibhava, anubhav, and sanchari. It takes the form of rasa, such as anger, which is a permanent emotion that arises when we look at our enemies.

The total count of these emotions corresponds to the count of “Rasa”, which is 9. Vibhava, the cause of any emotion, is the cause of any emotion, and there are two types: Aalamban and Uddipan. Aalamban is the main character, while Uddipan is the external environment that adds to the emotion.

Which is the 10th house highest bhava Bala?

Karmasthana, also known as Kirtisthana and Rajyasthana, is the 10th bhava or house in Hindu astrology, indicating the rank, status, authority, command, ruling powers, means of livelihood, respect, honor, father, living abroad, debts, and other aspects. It is considered the house of occupation, profession, means of livelihood, temporal honors, foreign travels, self-respect, knowledge, and dignity.

The analysis of this house requires studying the strength of the house, its lord, its occupants, its karakas and planets aspecting it, and the different yogas bearing on it. According to Hindu astrology, signs owned by natural benefics are auspicious, while signs owned by odd signs, prashtodaya signs, and natural malefics are not. Beneficis become more benefic by occupying shirshodya signs.

However, natural malefics that are not evilly inclined and strong in shadabala (occupying own, friendly or exalted rasi, hora, drekkena, navamsa, dwadasamsa, and trimsamsa) confer good results if they are not evilly inclined and are strong in shadabala. Thus, benefics occupying benefic vargas are aspected by benefics, while natural benefics weak in shadabala and occupying evil vargas are aspected by evil planets.

In summary, Karmasthana is a crucial aspect of Hindu astrology, indicating the importance of occupation, profession, means of livelihood, and other aspects of life.

What are the 8 symptoms of bhava?

The bhava stage is characterized by eight transcendental symptoms, including inertness, perspiration, standing of hairs, failing in the voice, trembling, paleness of the body, tears in the eyes, and trance. The transcendental ecstatic attachment for Kṛṣṇa, which results from understanding that Kṛṣṇa’s person and name are identical, is called bhāva. Achieving bhāva is not contaminated by material nature but enjoys transcendental pleasure from bhāva, which is intensified by chanting the holy name of Kṛṣṇa, or the mahā-mantra (great chanting).

Lord Caitanya explained that the attainment of love of Godhead is the ultimate human necessity, as it is the eternal nature of the soul and unchangeable. Love of God is the fifth dimension in human endeavor, and the conception of impersonal Brahman is no more significant than a drop of water.

Lord Caitanya’s spiritual master confirmed the validity of his ecstasy from chanting the holy name of God and confirmed that the essence of all Vedic literature is the attainment of love of Godhead. By attaining this transcendental love, one’s heart becomes anxious to attain direct contact with the Lord, resulting in various ecstatic symptoms such as crying, changing bodily color, madness, bereavement, silence, pride, ecstasy, and gentleness. Frequently, a person in love with God dances, placing them in the ocean of the nectar of love of Kṛṣṇa.

What is the difference between Rasi and bhava chart?

The Bhava Chalit chart indicates the house placement that should be taken into account during the interpretation process. In contrast, the Rasi chart indicates the position of the grah within the Rasi (sign), with a particular focus on terms related to the house.

Which is the luxury house in Vedic astrology?

A conjunction of the fourth and ninth lords, as indicated by the astrological sign Bhagya Bhava, portends the acquisition of a luxurious residence. The Malavaya or Hamsa yoga of Venus or Jupiter can facilitate the acquisition of luxuries, fame, and authority.

What is bala in astrology?

In the tradition of Vedic astrology, each planet is regarded as having a particular strength in a specific direction, which is known as Dig Bala. Jupiter and Mercury are considered to be particularly strong in the eastern direction, and their placement in the Lagna confers upon them an additional degree of strength.

Which Bala is important in astrology?

In Vedic astrology, planets’ strengths are determined by six major Balas of Shad Bala, with Sthan Bala being the first bala. The name Sthana Bala suggests that planets receive strength from their placement in the zodiac, with other factors like movement, aspect of the planet, and house cusps not being important. The Sthan Bala is subdivided into five parts: Uccha Bala, Saptavargh Bala, Diva Raatri Bala, Kendradi Bala, and Dreshkon Bala. The first two Balas, Uccha and Saptavargh Bala, are crucial in determining a planet’s strength.

What is the meaning of Bhav Bala and Shadbala?

The astrological tools of Shad Bala and Bhav Bala are employed to accurately predict various aspects of an individual’s life when utilized in conjunction with natal charts, which identify the specific planets and houses that illuminate or delineate the individual’s diverse life aspects.

What does bhava mean in astrology?

In Indian Vedic astrology, the twelve houses are called Bhava, which are divided into four ‘bhavs’: Dharma (duty), Artha (resources), Kama (desires), and Moksha (liberation). These ‘purusharths’ or ‘aims in life’ are based on the ancient mystics who recognized that the austere path of yogi was not suitable for everyone. They identified four worthwhile goals for each human existence: Dharm (finding path and purpose), Arth (acquiring necessary resources and abilities), Kam (desires and enjoyment), and Moksh (liberation and enlightenment). These aims are repeated three times through the 12 bhavas/houses. The ancient mystics recognized that the austere path of yogi was not suitable for everyone.

  • Sir your way of providing knowledge is very unique and brilliant. I have a conceptual question, What if ashtakvarga score and Bhav bala score for 2 house comparisons show opposite trends? example say SAV score of 1st house is 30 and SAV score of 7th house is 20, whereas say BAV score of 1st house is 350 while BAV score of 7th house is 500. How to analyze such a case?

  • Another brilliant article on astrology sir! Now, sir I have a request, & no it’s not about decoding my chart. I always wanted to know what are your thoughts about the outer planets, Pluto, Uranus & Neptune. I remember you talking about Uranus briefly in one of your articles; so, I know you must know some important information about Pluto & Neptune also. Please sir make a article sharing your knowledge of how these planets work. It is a very interesting topic & not a lot of vedic astrologers (if any) talk about it. So, please shed some light on them. Also, I hope & pray that you and your family are still staying well during Covid as always:). Wishing you lots of good health, peace and fortune, namaste.

  • Namaste Guruji, I was wondering if I have experienced the nimit to study the Lal Kitab. I have Scorpio in the 3rd house and so Aries in 8th. I’ve heard that 8th house or Scorpio indicates washrooms(?) and whenever I enter a washroom, almost immediately I get great ideas(I’m from a creative field) or find solutions to tricky problems. After the last Ketu article where you spoke of attracting positive ideas or productive ideas to strengthen the 3rd house which is subconscious mind and after that article I was focused on making my 3rd house stronger like an exercise, now I watch this Lal Kitab article like 7.5 hours after premier, this was just before I went to sleep, I get up this morning and when I enter the washroom to take a shower, It occured to me that washroom = Scorpio ( I heard this somewhere but forgot about this, untill this moment) and in the blog you wrote that people buying the Lal Kitab will see nimit . So, am I correct, is this indicating that I can read Lal Kitab?

  • Wow sir 🙏🏻✨ Yesterday only I saw a lal kitab in my old library.. My dad use to read.. My hands were itching to touch that but then I ignore it.. Now saw your article on lal kitab🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️♏ I had this thing in my mind lunar eclipse in scorpio.. Now I read the blog 💕🙂 I have 1st house mars in scorpio and ketu in tauras🙇🏻‍♂️ will share my experience. My 8th house has maximum strength.. Gemini sign. 7th,12th n 1st has strength less than 400..😌 Is it any indication, just after eclipse 🤑🤑🤑😇😇😇😇❣️🙇🏻‍♂️🙏🏻

Aap ki vidya se kisi ko consultation dena hi to hai…
