In astrology, each mode is defined by human personality attributes that resonate with the overarching concept. Each quality or modality plays an important role in the world, and a balanced mix on any birth chart can determine if you have a dominant or weak quality. The Cradle Aspect Pattern is like finding a cluster of stars that form a cozy, protective hammock in the vast universe of your chart. It weaves together specific planetary energies in a harmonious dance, creating a cradle of support and creativity in your astrological blueprint.
The symbols in the chart’s table represent the aspects of the planets, such as fire, air, earth, and water. Cardinal signs include Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, fixed signs include Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and mutable signs include Gemini, Virgo, and others. The “C-F-M” table on your chart helps you determine if you are evenly split between these modalities.
In the natal chart, there is a box with FAEW on the side and CFM on top. These symbols show the aspects of the planets and can be found in the “Aspects” section of our “Introduction to Astrology”. Cubic feet per minute (CFM) is a volumetric unit of measurement used to measure airflow volume, determined by how many cubic feet of air pass by a stationary point in one minute. Aquarius is known for friendliness, eccentricity, emotional detachment, and casual connections.
In summary, understanding and interpreting degrees in an astrological chart is crucial for determining a dominant or weak quality. Understanding the aspects of the planets and their meanings can help you make informed decisions about your life and planetary alignment.
📹 Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable Signs: Where They Come From
In this video we present a very compelling and convincing theory for how cardinal, fixed and mutable signs are created.
Are cardinal traits rare?
Cardinal traits are rare but strongly deterministic of behavior, while central traits influence but do not determine an individual’s behavior. Secondary traits are also present in all individuals and can influence behavior, but are dependent on immediate context. Allport conducted research on prejudice and discrimination, resulting in The Nature of Prejudice, a widely read and cited book by psychologists and civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.
What does it mean if your birth chart is a see-saw shape?
The see-saw, a children’s playground apparatus, can indicate instability between opposing clusters, as the native tends to express one side first and then the other. This can result in a person who behaves like a “seesaw”, with their life following a pattern of two contrasting alternatives. Integration of these different parts can be difficult, but success can lead to increased sophistication and a polished demeanor. With more squares or trines, the see-saw indicates equilibrium, stability, and reliability, although it may lead to a lack of flexibility and openness.
How to see your soulmate in birth chart?
To find your soulmate in a birth chart, use your rising sun sign or seventh house on the left side of your chart, and look for partners with the opposite sign on the chart. You can also use the Mars-Venus degree key at the bottom of your chart to determine compatibility. Your soulmate is likely to have a similar number to their degree. You can also compare your north node dates in an online calculator to someone else’s, as the closer your north node dates are, the more likely you are to be soulmates. These details are all you need to create a natal chart for yourself. If you’re unsure of the specifics, try to track down your birth certificate for accuracy.
What does it mean when the fixed mode is dominant among the inner planets?
Individuals with predominant fixed mode, which includes luminaries, personal planets, or ascendant in the fixed signs, work slowly but effectively, balancing their energy and waiting for the right moment. They are patient, persistent, and stubborn, and prefer to take over something created by someone else. They develop projects perfectly, maintain high quality, and avoid changes, as they associate change with loss.
These individuals may work in the same profession for years, stay with the same partner for life, and maintain their opinions. They always act carefully and think before making any step, achieving their goals even if it takes a long time. They are focused on their ideas and avoid distractions from irrelevant matters, never giving up even if they fail. They admit defeats with dignity and keep working on their projects, believing that they will eventually get what they want.
If the natal chart lacks fixed mode, the owner is inconsistent and doesn’t keep their promises. They constantly distract their attention to irrelevant matters instead of focusing on what is really important to them. They have problems defining their goals in life and often fall into inertia instead of acting. It is only when they realize their desired path that they finally enter the right path.
These individuals get bored quickly, abandon freshly started tasks, love frequent changes, and need new stimuli to act. They start many different projects but don’t finish them because they eventually realize that this is not what they wanted to do.
To calculate the amount of each element in your natal chart, use the following formula:
What is a good CFM?
The CFM (Critical Fluid Mass) rating is a crucial factor in determining the effectiveness of a fan. It is a measure of how much air a fan can cool, and it is typically based on the size of the space. For a fan under 200 square feet, it should be 2, 000 to 3, 000 CFM. For a fan between 200 and 300 square feet, it should be 3, 000 to 4, 000 CFM. For a fan between 300 and 450 square feet, it should be 4, 000 to 6, 000 CFM. For a fan over 450 square feet, it should be 5, 000 to 9, 000 CFM.
What does it mean to be cardinal dominant?
Cardinal signs, also known as scout signs, govern creativity and are restless, active, self-motivated, ambitious, and often leaders in their communities. They are known for their enterprising, independent, creative, spontaneous, and forceful qualities. Each sign’s unique mix of Quality and Element influences how they express their Cardinal nature.
Aries, a Cardinal Quality and Fire Element sign, is known for self-expression and exploration. Their fire element gives them supreme faith and courage, while their Cardinal nature makes them restless and in need of change. Aries is assertive and manages to get themselves known quickly. They believe that attracting attention is crucial for others to know them. Aries often gets to know the right people, often venture capitalists or high-level muckety-mucks, who can make excellent introductions for them. Without Aries, we would be without their daredevils to push us forward.
What is the rarest birth chart shape?
The Grand Cross is a rare aspect observed in natal charts. It can be classified into three distinct types, each with a specific meaning for individuals born under its influence.
What are the three modes of astrology?
The zodiac signs are divided into three major types: cardinal signs, fixed signs, and mutable signs. These modalities are based on how we function and express ourselves in the world. Each modality has four zodiac signs, including one from fire, earth, air, and water elements. The cardinal sign, which is the sun sign in daily horoscopes, plays a significant role in determining behavioral traits. The fixed sign, which is the sun sign, is a fixed sign that is influenced by the elements of fire, earth, air, and water. The compatibility and personality of each zodiac sign are determined by various factors, including news, lifestyle, health-fitness, and de-stress.
How do you know if your planet is dominant?
Dominant planets in an astrological chart can significantly impact an individual’s personality and life experiences. These planets may overlap with the inner planets, such as the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, or the ascendant sign. If a planet is present in many aspects or is alone in a section of the chart, it may be a dominant planet. In astrology, these planets shape who you are and can help you learn and grow. To find dominant planets, use your birth chart and intuition. To ensure an accurate chart, enter your information into an online birth chart calculator, ensuring to input the exact date and time.
What is CFM in astrology?
The chart consists of 9 characters in the C column, 2 in the F column, and 2 in the M column, which represent the modalities or qualities: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal signs include Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, Fixed signs include Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and Mutable signs include Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. What is your CFM?
Cubic feet per minute (CFM) is a measure of airflow volume in a space, crucial in HVAC systems like air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces. It helps determine the correct sizing and load capacity for these components, ensuring healthy air circulation and maintaining even temperatures. Too much or too little airflow can affect comfort, ductwork, and HVAC components. Proper CFM can improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and comfort, ensuring efficient operation and healthy air circulation.

In this video I provide an overview of some of the different components of a birth chart, and show you how to identify the main …
David, I just saw this article and I’m absolutely thrilled with your findings. Not that is poses a complete surprise to me, but the patterns and it’s meanings under the light of the astrological – or even philosophical – significance are staggering. Undoubtedly, here’s something of unequivocal tremendous value and I’m really excited about the course this might lead us to in the future. Astrology has been mostly an empirical methodological practice, based on thousand of years of accumulated knowledge, but this is something quite different. It’s hard to argue against mathematical patterns, specially if there’s a deeper meaning in it. I’m going to watch your previous articles and surely share your work with more people in my yet small astrological community that certainly will be as excited as I am right now. Thank you so much.
thanks brother… If it were not for your article I would have not been able to discover the following… If you rotate the circle of 60 repeating numbers where 1011 is on the left (East) arise Aries alpha, the 9099 on the right (West), Libra, set, omega, 7077 on the top (7 colors of the rainbow) the as above and then the 3033 on the bottom as below… Then the 369 also aligns properly with the river of heaven… Then you place the denderah zodiac with the headless man waiting for enlightenment on the left (cusp of Aries Pisces) and the “snake on the box” aligns with the 369 Orion’s Belt… Peace love and cheers…
Hi David, enjoyed this a lot. Thanks. Btw, I never received a reply to my second email re setting up a zoom w you re collaboration possibilities w 2 PhDs in engineering. My colleague and I just finished developed our software and we are planning to do mass research later testing various hypothesis. I assume you have your reasons but please continue the brilliant research!
I was looking at it from a completely different angle! I initially tried to stacking all modalities like you did but got stuck at the point where they all added to 20. I thought back to the earlier articles discussing other periods, and this reflected those periods, opposite sum to the number of the period, in this case 10. But because of the modulus function applied it will also go to 0. But I didn’t consider column commonality. I did group Fire, Earth, Air, and water together and maybe came up with some ideas that way but I definitely needed this article to fill in some blanks.
I agree with the symmetry in the design (Fibonacci) and a computer code to achieve this design. Not so sure you have something that reveals a secret of the zodiac. Computers find number sequences to achieve such computations. There could be something else with these number sequences that would reveal a secret in the universe, since this pattern seems to be a common pattern found in all things formed. You are explaining this Fibonacci so eloquently – we can understand how it would SING, after all, the pattern is found in many things. Yes, fundamental of all things > FIBONACCIA. Mathematical is how computers function.
I study across borders in terms of the metaphysical and occultism in general. The more I learn the more I see how these sciences vet each other consistently. The geometry likely will correspond, I’ve no doubt, between the planetary Solomonic seals as they are a way to read the heavens, a different lens through which to examine the information. One example I see is the recurring theme of the four fixed signs, which appear in both cards 10 and 21 of the Grand Arcana in the tarot; the Wheel and The World, each depict the Bull, Lion, Eagle and winged man figure, which is Aquarius /Air. This also occurs in the alchemical world, in ancient text and art. I personally use Astrology in my study and practice with tarot, along with numerology and the Tree of Life. David mentions the Hebrew alphabet at one point, which reminded me there are 22 letters in that alphabet and there are 22 cards in the major Arcana, and I would wager there are dozens more ways to cross check, but geometry is so impartial is perfect to use in this way. It just goes to show, there IS evidence of a Divine design ✨️ 😍
Thanks, very concisely explained; reminds me of the sigil of the the 4th seal of Mercury, from the 44 planetary seals of Solomon, I wonder if the spirits within that sigil also respond or adhere to the same mathematical logic, the glyph is exactly the same. Thanks for this, it was greatly informative and interesting.
