An open heart chakra is one of the seven primary chakras, along with the Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, and Crown Chakra. It is also known as the Anahata and signifies a deepening sense of compassion, love, and connection with others, leading to emotional balance and a greater capacity for empathy. Opening the heart chakra can lead to increased compassion, empathy, and love, as well as improved relationships and a greater sense of peace and balance in life.
One major symptom of an opening heart chakra is the deep desire to explore oneself, which can be triggered by a spiritual awakening, a dark night of the soul, or a classic tower moment. Unblocking a blocked heart chakra involves understanding its signs and how to unblock it. The Anahata, meaning unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten, is the fourth primary chakra and serves as a center of awareness and integration of insights.
An open heart chakra allows for true compassion and empathy for others and oneself, as well as connection to everything encountered. It also promotes appreciation for the most precious and small things, fostering a loving attitude easier than a blocked heart.
The opening of the heart chakra allows us to see the beauty and love around us, truly connect to ourselves, loved ones, and the natural world. It also tunes the energy into gratitude, making it easier to receive desired changes. Recognizing heart chakra opening symptoms includes emotional release, physical sensations, unconditional love and respect for others, healthy relationships without attachments or addictions, and experiencing peace and joy. By understanding and addressing these symptoms, individuals can experience a profound phase of emotional release and better connect with their inner self and the world around them.

I am extremely empathic, I will cry if a friend cries, but it hurts my pride. It’s worth it though, shedding tears for someone you care about. I used to go, blegh at the thought of a bigger lady, now I see beauty that I never saw before. Crowds are overwhelming because there are too many emotions going around. About 10 years I’ve been doing spiritual practice, mainly attuning to nature and the laws of nature, nature is cruel yet kind. I have so much love I wish to give, but no one I have found can handle it so far, and that hurts. Like, I’d die for those I care about. Give everything for those I care about to be happy. What brings me inner peace is, being myself, and living as I wish. I love animals, and I always have to pet animals when I see them.
I’d been going thru some “love related” things, now i think a good map for describing what is happening is a heart chakra opening. Some of what she describes ive been feeeling for a long time. Some have just been ramping up in the last years. It’s that deep awareness of feeling that resonates with me. Paying close attention, but especially to feeling.
I feel this, but have no friends or family.. Trying to be open to friendships, but find myself not able to resonate with anyone but women when I’m outside of work.. & I’m straight, so it’s difficult to make friends with women who think you only want to date, or are just into them sexually.. Thanks for the article 😁
